Went through hell to find this, the weirdest part is that camp at the end of the map where the game ends has a chest, and upon unlocking it I found a second st. George's sword. I don't know if it's just a random spawn type thing or what but I have two of these
It is there in Hc, I just checked. The money is gone (and the cheap shoes, strangely), instead there is a Saviour Schnaps. But the sword is there! That is also what it says on the KCD Wiki.

Before a patch, you can steal this sword when bathing with lord Capon and he will end up using his fist in any subsequent fights.
In my first playthough i accidentally found this sword and sell it without knowing that it was the best sword in the game

I've found at least 3 St. George's swords, 1 of which was being used by a Cuman bandit and I'm only 60 hours into my playthrough.
Really? St. George's sword can drop from elite bandit? I only saw them dropping Madeburg sword so far.

With the seek perk, dog should alert you to nearby treasure by barking.
Do make sure to set command to Seek from talking to dog
