I wonder if Tony realizes that at least a third of his weekly audience is the Cult of Cornette just watching to make sure we get the jokes on the next podcast.

Cornette is very good for AEW business even when he eviscerates them.

This is the wrong time for Tony Khan to be listening to The Cucamonga Kids. With Vince gone and HHH apparently being reconciliatory with talent that Vince screwed over, he's not gonna be able to use "we're not Vince" for much longer, either for the fans or prospective talent. To use the tired old phrase, it's now or never.
Oh he has a bigger problem to worry about than HHH being reconciliatory with talent that Vince screwed. And that’s HHH reaching out to the talent he’s screwed over with his crap booking. Just a few weeks in HHH has already made the women’s division far better than what’s on Wednesday nights. And that’s just the women. Nevermind the men. Jade Cargill? MJF? Wardlow? Darby Allin? All ready-made stars that Tony somehow ruined. All ready for the big time.
@@alejandromelendez1609 There's that, yeah. It's clear that Tony was banking on Vince being there for decades and allowing AEW to just coast on antipathy toward WWE. The ousting of Vince in the sex scandal will likely be the end of AEW as people give HHH's WWE a shot and viewership goes down further. It's gonna get harder to sell a new deal to Time Warner as they continue to dip, and even if they DO, we're gonna be back at Jelly Nutella and Kip Sabian on the main stage if things keep going.
Let's be honest, if HHH had been running WWE creative when AEW started, about half of AEW's roster wouldn't even be there.
@@alejandromelendez1609 I don’t think Wardlow would be anything more than a mid-carder in WWE. The WWE has talent that is large,while AEW doesn’t have many large wrestlers. Wardlow sticks out in AEW. In WWE……not really.

AEW thinks it's "mature" with all the bleeding and cursing when in actuality it's the opposite.
I don't mind blood in wrestling, in fact I think it seriously helps a match when does right, but when you do it every single week (looks at Moxley, who I normally like) it means NOTHING, look at Ric Flair for a good example.

Can’t wait to hear Jim obliterate this weeks episode of dynamite especially the trios tag team match with the hardly boys and the returning twinkle toes.
The first hour was pretty good considering you can only look up from rock bottom. The 2nd hour was back to typical AEW. The Punk/Moxley match for next week makes no sense unless there’s something big to justify the booking (maybe something involving MJF returning)
His description of the Jericho/Moxley match is so hilarious that I HAVE TO watch it now, just to see how bad it is!🤣

Without Jim cornette critizing the whole wrestling business. And rightfully so I'd have zero interest in aew. I was rooting for them years ago but now I'm rooting for wwe to do well under HHH.

Forget this show but tonight's show I gotta heap praise on Danielson. He makes his stuff look so credible, at times it's almost like watching an MMA fight. He is one of the only people left that makes the wrestling business look good.

Damn, Jim! Can we catch up on some of the latest WWE action from the last couple weeks?? Some pretty good matches, and it appears HHH is slowly making some good changes. Everything seems to be AEW whenever I check into the channel. Guess I'll just have to be patient.

The Blood thing is way too much. I turned this off when they announced the opening match. It used to be, a chair shot, or beat down on tv, heal turn or attack one if the main guys. The recipient would get a cut, the camera would zoom in, then medical staff, end. The next chance for anyone to see blood in this program was at a house show, steel cage, strap match. People would flock to arenas to see the heal bleed, get his comeuppance!! An angle like that could go for months, without need for the two participants to interact on tv with one another. The announcer would toss in a reminder when one of the two parties were in the ring on tv..AEW is horrible, sept a few guys, that they don't even use well..
Tony Khan has insurance for injuries to fans I’m sure. And he’s a billionaire in his own right. He won’t have a problem paying it IF he had to.

Mr Cornette, when I was a 15 year old girl I knew who you were. I am a 63 year old woman now. I did not like you then nor do I like you now but I respect your knowledge. I liked wrestling. I never thought of this when I used to listen to these but, expectation is the aew come by and be beating WWF in the rating because after 6 years of being on the air WCW did for 83 weeks. And also ready to be really popular back in the fifties or something. Also Jim cornette doesn't believe that ratings were legitimate in the 80s and early 90s because Smoky mountain wrestling didn't do well

You seem to be saying things that just fit your narrative. That's not accurate at all. Watch the NXT video he did YESTERDAY where he called it "The worst wrestling program he's ever seen". He frequently calls WWE boring and unwatchable. He is also critical of AEW. Maybe that's where your problem lies. Many of us that listen to Jim have heard him go into extreme detail about how AEW could make the segments and wrestler pushes better, giving examples of how to do do it. He praised them, initially, for how Wardlow was booked. Then they fucked that up. He even praised Luchasaurous. And now they seem to be fucking that up to(Too early to tell).
