This one was the most difficult mission for me back in the days . ME and my father use to play the game together and we got stuck at this mission for weeks and then we did it finally . What a Days That was
First time I played this game was a pirated copy, for some reason at the end of this misión After completing the objetives the mission never ended, my dad and I restarted the game thinking that maybe it was necessary to get more stars on previous missions, but even having 3 stars on each misión on our copy that mission was bugged, years later we could finally finish the game in an original copy
It relieves the nostalgia when I played this game at 5 yrs old-ish perhaps. It was my first exposure to WW2 history and perhaps was the hardest game especially for my age (I was helped by my older cousin solving this, lol)

If someone was there, surely they would've come out when the fuel and water supplies exploded? If both structures were indeed empty, then the Nazis didn't engage in friendly fire.
@@lionlyons don’t think there were any fatalities but sounded like one of the nazis sustained some damage and kinda dumb to destroy their own resources
When I first played this mission, I had no idea to snipe the cannon man. So I had to blow him away with a barrel. That led the siren bell out. OMG!!It took me a week to finish that mission and I almost quit 2 times playing commandos on that week. But I did it. Later I realized this easy technique.
It took me one day and +100 save and load to finish this mission. I didn't know that artillery guy can be killed by sniper so Sniper had to stay in to shot three barrel to destroy the target while GB blow the artillery. I wished I had been smarter...

That chain reaction thing is kriffing spectacular! Will never understand how 20:30 realistically works, but since it's a godsend for gameplay here...
It is convenient to play this game while in the university because this is a PC game and when you study at a university, you normally use a PC to study with. I am sure even your laptop can count as your PC. If you own a computer, you have a power to download games.
i think it only alerts if the soldiers bump into one another when you're in the process of stabbing them. the stabbing is supposed to be silent after all. you just have to be very lucky/skilled with the way youre doing it but yeah the main drawback of this game is that you often feel like youre playing against the limitations/idiosyncracies of the game and the controls more than against the puzzle aspect of it
8:00 you cant do this anymore in the Steam version... They wont be stuck looking at the decoy, they will look at it for a while and then stop caring until you place it somewhere else... I'm stuck with these 2 guys atm haha
Cause before the end green beret entered car...in this game u just have to enter a car once so it becomes yours :)/....it is still yours after u leave the car
Because Green Beret sat in it a minute earlier. Enemy will shoot at all cars in which commandos were sitting unless the last person who entered the car was disguised Spy.
At end of the game green berret cleverly left the car in engine starting position and those foolish Nazis thought that there is some one in car that's why they shot the car
Inspired move there.when u enter a vehicle its regarded as an allied vehicle now and the germans will attack it.though could have also blown up the other truck with a barrel and the portable cannon on top of the hill to cause more 'sustained damage'.leave them with nothing.some missions it's sad leaving functional vehicles behind unable to destroy them.
It isn't, and God knows I tried. In Commandos 2: Men of Courage, though, it was perfectly possible as you could knock out and tie up everyone. Sadly, that mechanic was missing from this earlier installment.

The key to play the game perfectly is to use the keyboard. Not only by using the mouse. It took me 25 years to realize the role of the harpoon on diver's gear.

The Green Beret entered the car at 18:55, which caused the soldiers to treat it as a hostile vehicle afterwards.

Only kills short pants guys! It is really hard to play. Too limited bullets and opportunity.
I recommend playing Beyond the Call of Duty first. This way main game seems to be fairly easy.
