Oh my god you are so good! I remember playing this game when i was a young child, it took me hours to complete one mission. I had to save and load all the time haha
Thanks, your videos gives me great ideas on solving some of the puzzles. I only watch it when I am stuck on a certain place. I owned the originals and just purchased the steam versions to run on newer computers. You are amazing at this game, however, the interface is very clunky sometimes and not sure how you do it with perfection. I know this is a video to solve the game, but are you using cheats for the sake of the video or editing out the redos? I will state again, you are amazing at it, it is just the flaws of the game is my point to actually navigate as perfectly as you do.
@dom toredo i looked for it back then, and now i did it again. i only find the second part of the series, not the first one. Could be because steam knows i am in germany and maybe they only offer a uncut version with all the swastikas?
@dom toredo I remember my older brother having a CD Rom version of it, but it was edited for the German market, meaning swastikas were replaced with iron crosses on the nazi flags. They did the same with wolfenstein. Weird laws here when it comes to that, inglorious basterds is perfectly fine for some reason lol

Commandos is old and didnt get a rating back then in the original cut, and still isnt rated for german market today i guess

In all Commandos games [except Strike Force] most missions have variety of way you approach them. Yet there is still some that are single way. And no you not crazy. I just start to play it after five years and it still holds up just awesome. Also no surprise you never beat it. From mission 12 or 13 the difficulty ramps up drastically. You have to use multiple commandos at once, hunt for "this one second" where you can defeat enemy. It's just hard overall. But that's why this game is so great.
Allied minefields, the Qattara Depression that hinders tanks, and British control of Iraq and Persia (now bloody Iran) combined with grudging Soviet assistance sure helped the Allied victory at El Alamein. Same for real life commando ops, as fictionalized here.

One of the simpliest mission in whole game, yet giving you a lot of commandos to use. Why not.
Last mission was too hard, perhaps the designer wanted to give us a rest.
Also that mission where you need to assassinate a German officer without raising an alarm is also fucking hard. @@Tiansui-r2k

What about driver - he is just useless totally in this mission. For Sniper I see some usage in this scenario

I definitely can't figure out how the game scores mission merit. it gives you 3 and 3 and then 1
The merit would be 3 star if you finish without killings the enemy and it could be a colonel or general (sorry o don't remember but the highest)
