Marriage (relationships) aren't a competition. Been with my husband over 20 years and he's my best friend. We respect each other and are partners in every sense of the word. If either men or women play games and treat the other person like they're less than, they aren't mature enough or smart enough to be in an adult relationship. 🤷

Back in July, I came home to my apartment to find my ex-fiance's step dad's truck parked in my spot. She did NOT officially live with me, she just stayed the night often. I parked elsewhere and her stepdad was walking down the stairs with some of her stuff as I was walking up. Her mother followed behind him with more of her stuff as well. I walked in my apartment as she was about to walk out with more stuff and told her to put it down and talk to me. I had NO CLUE she was leaving me, I still don't know why she did. We were together for almost 6 years and I doted on her. I paid for everything we did and ate, I got her nice jewelry, I fixed her car several times, never abused her, cheated on her, etc... To her credit she didn't do any of those bad things either. When her parents came back up the stairs, I took that last opportunity to tell them what I REALLY thought about them. They were left speechless. As they were about to walk out my door with the last of her stuff, I snapped my fingers and pointed to her hand and said "give me my rings back" and all three of them looked at me like 😳😳 so she reluctantly put down the armful of stuff she had and took all her jewelry off that I got her throughout the years. When she gave them to me, I threw them in the trash in front of them and told them to GTF out of my house. I refuse to be a fucking simp. I'm a man, and when I do everything right that is within my power, I don't beg for anything.

@@indrajeet Are you talking about my ex messing up? Yeah it honestly was him who messed up and he even admits it. I was a damn good wife and best friend to him and even he doesn’t know why I stayed with him so long and why I’m still friends with him sometimes with what he did. But I did because no matter what happened I still remember the good he did and the good he has in him. He gave me 6 wonderful years and a great son. But facts remain, the last 10 yrs of our 16 yr marriage was hell. I dealt with his drug use, paying his drug debts when I didn’t do any, having to be more of a caretaker than a wife, hiding everything from families, losing our home, going thru bankruptcy and still fighting for him when he wouldn’t do it for himself. The breaking point was after him breaking my upper arm where I had to have a 9” l by 1.5” w plate put in it, had a knife held up to your throat and then stabbed into wall next to my face, and when he held a gun to my chest right in front of my 14yr son in his room due to pills effecting his temper and mind. So yeah I’d say he was the one who messed up.
And even with that... I never called the cops, I never talked a bad word to our son even after leaving cause that’s his father and that would be plain wrong, Barley any family and no friends know what he did to me, I left him most of the furniture and house stuff, and I didn’t make him pay child support either. Now he always paid what he could when he had the money and he even helped me sometimes with bills after I left him when I needed it and when he was sober. Why? Because he is truly a good guy he’s just a lost guy is all. I know deep down, he never meant to fuck up our marriage/ world but he did. I stayed 10 yrs man! He just had too many demons to fight and I just couldnt be the only one fighting them anymore. He had to learn to fight on his own. And honestly after so many years of fighting someone else’s demons, you don’t want to and you start to gain some yourself. I couldn’t let that happen.

I am extremely and utterly thankful to have never had a date with any woman other than my wife of ~20 years, with whome I have a wonderful life as we appreciate each other, reciprocate the nice things we do for each other, not to mention affectionately call each other really insulting terms (lawwwl!). Also, I don't consider myself beneath cooking, cleaning and sharing household chores with her, just as she doesn't mind paying for dates, shopping, entertainment, and even on holiday. Thank the creator I don't have to put up with an attitude that so many "strong, independent" woman seem to display these days, as displayed in this video.
Also, in the interests of transparency, ours was a traditional south Asian arranged marriage, through a professional match maker that both our families knew. Even now, all my aunts and uncles on my mom's side hold up our marriage as not only the one they enjoyed the most, but also as an example of how marriage should be like. For that, my wife and I are extremely flattered (and at the same time a little embarrassed) that we are appreciated by my mom's generatin.

Propably because 1. That's the state of mind a woman who is safe and happy would do. Without being coerced into it, most women would end up doing that if they had safe and happy childhoods. Women are just as much of a protector and nurturer as men. She would do it happily.
Unfortunately women won't do this things automatically. They need to be with a confident and grounded male that can lead a relationship, set boundaries and be assertive. Women generally have to be trained. When you're being masculine, they can be feminine and submissive, which is their biological duty. When they're acting too independent and showcasing too many masculine qualities, it's simply because they haven't been influenced by an alpha type male.

Imagine investing all your time and resources to your wife and family, and when she feels "neglected" by you, instead of having a conversation she just goes and cheats on you. After that, you either have to get a lawyer ASAP or spend the rest of your life in a studio apartment while she keeps the house and kids. It happens all the time, I just got lucky and lawyered up immediately. I am blessed to have my kids under my roof every night, she has visitation but doesn't use it, smh.
