    😂 “Gary, Gary, Gary, what have you gotten us into?!” Perhaps someday action cameras will give us a better sense of how steep these trails are? With the steepness of the descent, off camber hairpin switchbacks, and more loose rock than should be allowed…that truly was the “King of Decents”! Thanks for another great video!

      Gary had some interesting trails for us for sure! Gary’s gauntlet the 1st day was something else lol!

    That was a fun trail, but I don't think I'd ever do it again lol. I almost forgot how pretty that place is. I can't wait for winter to be over! Great video.

    The Kove 450 Rally is for 10000€ in France, FULLY LEGAL EURO 5, that means that you can register and insure it so you can cross legally the frontiers anywhere in the world, that's a very important point for a European.
    All agree it's a well built and very able bike specially on fast tracks, it has been made for that....30 liters of gas, 2 big radiators with fans, oil cooler, protection, navigation support, in fact nothing to do except a support for luggages that you can buy for 250€. The Kove is rather able on road, able to keep 110 km easily, easy task as on rallies you have tracks where you have to go over 130 kmh and you can attain 150 on a Baja. For the price and quality the Kove is a steal.
    The engine, the head DOHC modified Zongchen NC 450 is well known since ages, has 1.7l of oil, the alternator gives 300 watts and you'll find plentiful of cheap spares if needed. The engine has good reputation, has been made by thousands, and lasts as we have seen on a lot of bikes as the Fantic 500 Rally, and plentiful of dirt bikes. With the Kove mods and ECU the engine is smooth and easy, making a 450 km ride, asphalt and dirt, a breeze. Zongchen is a big boy with 18000 employees.
    For traveling with truly off road capacities lightweight bikes without the headaches of modifying and testing, you have two bikes FULLY LEGAL for big hard ADV; the AJP PR7 made in Portugal with the SWM 600 engine (the old Huskvarna), several guys have made long travels with it, a Frenchman has made 45000 km trip in central Asia, and the Kove 450 Rally which is selling like hot bread in France and Italy because the Kove is fully legal (it's not the case of most enduro bikes). Within a year we'll know a lot more.
    After you have the 200 kg ADV bikes, some rather good within their off-road limitations, and the mod enduro bikes when you do not have to make 200 km on asphalt and you stay close of a shop for the maintenance.

    Awesome!! What town was that at the end? I want to do some ADV riding around Brian Head, UT this summer and saw that sign at the end of the video. You must be close to there..

      If you you're don't have the money, are quite short, or have no desire to go quickly offroad, 390. Else, Kove.

    Oh look, another paid for Kove propaganda advertisement. The Kove reminds me of the Orange County Chopper fad, making clown bikes for clowns. Now, if your seen on an OCC bike, you are laughed off the road. Sadly, a couple 100k people fell for it. Luckily only a few hundred people will fall for the Kove before it's laughed off the trail. Thats a LOT of heavy breathing you're doing on a regular trail. Gary must have been drunk, from what you people tell me, the Kove is sooooo awesome it just soaks everything up and is soooooo easy to ride.

      Nothing wrong with embracing something new. Not sure why you have to be such a hater about it. Heaven forbid someone enjoys something other than a KTM. Imagine ONE person says a particular bike is amazing, maybe that will inspire someone else to give it a try. Why is that so terrible??

    • @roosa68d
      @roosa68d 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @jonwoodworker you are spouting a very strong opinion on Kove for someone who has never ridden one. I was on this trip with LCARS ADV, he isn't getting paid for any of this content, he's just giving his honest opinion on the bike. That "regular trail" was nothing but loose rocks on a steep decent for miles and miles and was a a lot rougher and steeper than it looks on a GoPro. I'm guessing you don't even ride offroad or you would understand how tiring this kind of riding is. All four of us (2 on Koves, 1 on a DRZ and 1 on a KTM) were tired and ready for a break at the end of this trail. Gary, who definitely wasn't drunk and is an excellent rider, had a couple spills on this trail. That speaks to how tough it was. These are rally bikes built for racing in open desert country but they handled this rough rocky trail surprisingly well. No one who has put any miles on a Kove is laughing them off the trail. They get pretty solid reviews from most of the people who ride them. I'm not sure why you are hating on a bike you have never ridden but I'm guessing you are another closed minded person who automatically hates them just because they are made in China. Almost every manufacturer out there is building at least some of their bikes in China these days. It doesn't matter where something is built, the engineering, materials and quality control are what make or break a product, country of origin is irrelevant. Go put a few hundred miles on a Kove and then your opinion will actually carry some weight, right now you just sound like an uneducated internet troll.

      Very cynical comments! And you haven't even ridden the bike. I like it better than my T- 700 and wr250r if I had to choose one out of the three. Get a life😂
