    I'd place a couple of washers under the tank crash bungs, that way it will space them off from the tank and also push them slightly further out providing slightly more protection

    Glad to see some content on the Kove, hope to see you riding it more often☺

      The problem is that I’ve been riding it quite a lot, just not with cameras 🤣. I’ve never been that keen on ‘just riding videos’… I’ve been riding it that much that when I had a day on my CRF a few weeks ago, I’d forgotten how nice it is to ride. Much less shouty than the Kove!

    Extra parts are sometimes needed. Especially when riding in faraway countries. Better be safe than sorry. Happy days, Günter/Nürnberg PS: Decided against the Kove 450, because we don't have the necessary trails in Bavaria for such a great bike. CRF 300 L is better for me at the moment. Also good for riding TET UK/Wales. Maybe in late summer.

      Yup, sounds like the right choice. Ride safe.

      @@PeakMotorcycles It's the mild version, typical Honda. So I have to find spicy roads to get the juices flowing ;-) Happy days, Günter/Nürnberg

    Another off topic Kove Question; the service interval for that model, is it 2000km? And valve checks? Love the idea of the bike, really hope the parts and reliability stand the test of time.

      Depends what you're using it for. If you're racing or doing the Dakar, then probably oil and filters every day is needed. For trail and adventure riding, I think it's closer to every 5000km. I've done about 1000 miles (1600km) on mine and I've done two oil changes, my choice. It's quick and easy and the oil has come out quite clean each time. No valve checks yet, but I'll see what I can find out.

    Hows the bike so far reliability wise?

    • @PeakMotorcycles
      @PeakMotorcycles 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So far so good. I’ve only done a thousand miles or so though that has probably been 600 trail, 400 road.

    front calliper bolts need about 30nm of torque - no way i would want to use those cheap little hex bolts - is there not a full piece guard that is plastic and covers the disc and the calliper? That is the more normal way and has been used on dirtbikes forever for good reason - also you may wanna think about rear disc guard, 10000x more likely to get damaged than the rear reservoir.
