Your Japanese lessons ARE THE BEST. not like the other ones, where they just have words on the screen and don't do anything. Your lessons have the words and a video of you outside in the city shopping, etc. It makes the lesson easier to remember, and understand. This is by far, one of the best Japanese lessons, I've seen. I'm 18 and just by falling asleep to Japanese people talking (and listening to only Japanese music), it's actually helped me a great deal! My pronunciations are better than most beginners, and although I may not know what every word means, I recognize many when I learn them, which is a huge help because recognizing the word before you've learned its meaning solidifies its memory in your mind when you do learn the meaning 😄 even if it doesn't work as well for other people I hope you all try your best to use your time asleep as a gateway to something greater!

What I really like about these lesson videos is that whenever he says something in casual/informal way, he puts the proper way or alternate way to say it in parenthesis. For example, he said “なんで (だから)” and I knew what he meant. These videos are really helpful! I’ve been trying to get more listening practice, but most of the things I’ve been using are too much like the textbook, and I know it’s not very natural or practical. This is so authentic, also it’s at a perfect pace! He doesn’t talk too fast or too slow either! :)

      How... Ummm... I'll be honest,
"There is no royal road to learning."
But just a few words to you.
Acquiring vocabulary is not necessarily the same as pronouncing it.
As for Japanese pronunciation, you have to do a lot of listening and imitate the Japanese way of speaking.
Do you understand basic Japanese grammar? If you don't understand Japanese grammar, you can't listen.
Grammar is the most important part of language learning.
I don't know if these will work for you, but I am here to support you in your Japanese learning.

this video is so good. classes dont teach you the little things about what to pay attention to when riding a train, how to buy something at a store, etc. like for example a lot of people who were traveling there would've just brought the card up to the checkout not knowing some items are just for display.
