This is going to be so much fun in another six months to a year when I reach closer to this fluency. I'm nowhere near yet as I can only read Hiragana, Katakana, and a few Kanji. I can say maybe a few things, but eventually I'll have fun ordering in fluent Japanese.
Thank you for this video. I often notice, thanks to this kind of video that depicts everyday conversations, that many Japanese people use the word "なんか" (nanka). My impression is that this word is somewhat equivalent to "like" in English, used in sentences like "I read a lot. Like, it makes me feel good." However, I struggle to understand if this word is interchangeable with words like "なんとか" (nantoka), "なんとなく" (nantonaku), or "みたいな" (mitai na) at the end of a sentence...
Ive just started to learn Japanese with a Japanese tutor on preply, and your videos may actually help me practice with my speaking skills to improve. Im hoping to reach my Japanese goal to be able to speak the language and pronounce everything correctly. Ive definitely already recognized one obstacle which would be to pretty much to tell my English accent to shut up. Lol I know i can get there its just a matter of practicing and remembering everything. Ill definitely keep trying to improve till i can finally say im fluent in Japanese! 😁
