    When there in the army ,for month ,the white dissing got old. Locals far as I saw ,,were mostly cocky assholes! Quick to anger and fight 😡Everyone throws out about respectful to the locals bla bla ,but they don't in return ! It's way over the top with having to give locals all this over the top Respect ,but you don't get it back,respect goes both ways brah🙄You can have Hawaii ! thumbs up 👍🏽to you for great video ,glad your happy and helping others. But that visit and having to deal with a group of them in basic training ,left forever bad taste in my heart

    Hey Jeff hope you’re doing well. Love following your travels keep it up. I hate to say this but you are the best resource in the world when it comes to Hawaii and the options for relocating to Hawaii. I have a 19 day trip been scheduled starting on March 8 and I’m visiting a wahoo as well as Maui. I know I’m going to have a lot of challenges long way and I’m hoping you can help me answer some questions that pop up while I’m there. I don’t think you live there but this is probably going to be one of the most scariest things I’ve ever done in my life. I’m wondering if I could get your email address and you can go ahead and direct message me that because I probably am going to have a lot of questions While I’m there and I want to be prepared when I step foot on the island.
    I catalogued all your videos on her way and I keep going back and forth between them. I know I am like a little child but I’m looking for guidance and an ear and you seem to be the best one that is out there.
    I doubt will be able to do that since you’re traveling all around the world but if you can please let me know if we could hook up on the phone or on Skype prior me to leaving on 8 March. Thanks a lot my friend and safe travels.
    Zane

    Me myself I am a High School Freshman who wants to pursue a career in Chemical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, is it easy for you to get a job like that in Hawaii or should I look for someplace else (I know you skimed over STEM jobs but may you elaborate on it).

    Enjoy the videos JJ. How is the market in Kona for Safety and Health professionals. I do Safety and Health compliance for the Government here in Washington State, but I am tired of the cold weather. I am native puerto rican and I prefer island weather. I am looking for a safety position with a construction company in Kona? How about environmental compliance work? Thank you for any potential advice, mahalo brother.

    One thing that he failed to mention is that Hawaii has a large sewage problem especially Oahu.They have a large influx of tourists year round.Their systems are streached too the max.

    Can you explain in more detail what wolfing is? I've herd of it in other peoples videos but not a very good description. :)

    • @IslandHopperTV

      Okay sure, in summary Woofing is when you stay on a farm and you exchange your work for a place to stay and food. Basically you do not get paid, you trade you work for housing. Because Hawaii tends to be fairly expensive, this can actually be a good deal for the worker and also saves the farmer money because they already have a farm with places to sleep, but maybe not the money to pay cash.

    • @marissavernon6291

    I have a question, what about Education jobs? like working as a teacher at a school? and are the schools near the beaches?

    • @IslandHopperTV
      @IslandHopperTV  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually Hawaii has a very high demand for teachers. Because Hawaii is a state where people come and go, the schools have a hard time with retention. Great career for Hawaii!

    • @pete94533
      @pete94533 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Check that. I've seen reports that they're losing teachers because the cost of living is beyond a teachers salary. Google "priced out of paradise". It's a series done by Hawaii News Now.

      Yes there are many schools near beaches. You are never more than 30 minutes away from a beach. These islands are not very big.

      Molokai is Hawaii Homestead land mostly. If you do move to Molokai you should consider your options and realize that you are coming to one of the last places protected as a Hawaiian Inheritance.
