Thank you for the help you have given me. I'm not bad at all now but my singing is fkin awful and there is nothing I can do about it. Brilliant video, have so much patience and attention to detail and never rush over any aspect of the song. Would he good to have a play along at maybe a reduced tempo the song at the end. Even a separate play through video! Just a suggestion tho. Thanks for taking the time to record this it's a great help 👍

Glad you enjoyed the video :). I'll put a video up asap and cover some basics :). Main thing to do with guitar is have fun :). Play what you want to play and enjoy it.
Hi Sean, I'm glad you like the tutorial :). I don't have a play through of it. I do full play through a of songs now but this video was before I started doing it. When I have time, I'll try and get one done :).

Hi, loving your work 👍 Just one very simple question (I think!) when the tempo builds at 14:00 in your video, how do you deaden the sound between the upstrokes on the open G chord? I've tried lots of things but can only achieve a similar sound by playing as a bar chord further up the neck. Probably a rookie question, but would really appreciate your help. Thanks again for uploading these great videos
Hi, thanks a lot. I'm really glad you like the videos :). Once I have done the upstroke, I place the side of my hand gently on the strings to kill the sound. To get used to doing that, try it slowly a few times just until it feels natural. It can be tricky to start off with but you will start to get used to it after a while. I hope this has helped. If you have any other questions feel free to ask :).
Great tutorial, especially on the intro. Just a bit frustrating for someone who already knows basic chords having to go through every single finger position every change. Still apreciate your time though.
great tut ,all the bits r there but not sure where they all go ,i understand i maybe a novice but could play the parts just not sure of the order, sure ill get it but seemed to jump from one bit to another without explanation, great work though
Thanks a lot Dougie :). There is quite a lot going on in that song. Best thing to do is listen to the song a few times, get the guitar part in your head and then have a practise at it. You will get there :)

Yes of course I understand that but people like me who are playing years watch your videos too and drives me bananas when I hear basic chords explained again and again eating up video time ,
@@McNaughtonMusic or maybe just explain them once at the beginning. the hard part for me is the rhythm. you explain well but i have to keep going back to get it. and then i lose the rhythm listening to the positioning, which is easy for me because i'm not a beginner. cheers! and thanks so much for posting this!
