Sometimes I forget how ridiculous that Radagon fight is. Almost infinite teleports, 20 piece combos, aoe damage, multiple slams AND he is just phase one... BRUTAL. Well Played 👌
I think this game broke me. I died to so many enemies so often I have an internal clock for each one’s moveset. The best example of this would be the crucible knight in the evergaol at Stormveil. I spent 6 hours on that one boss and memorized every combo he does… in an hour. The other 5 were spent experimenting on when I could attack
I will be frank and state that I honestly have more trouble with Godfrey than Horah Loux. I just, can't get the timing right for Godfrey's stomps, but not ONCE have I been caught by Horah's grabs. It's weird, but ironically makes his first phase harder than the second for me XD
I had the same problem with gael in ds3. I would VERY rarely get hit in his second and third phases but he gave me so much trouble because his first phase would just absolutely fucking drain me of estus. so the few times I did get hit in his second phase took me out
i used mimic tear and lions claw build with greatsword to cheese basically every boss. seeing your attempts and kills are pretty funny, not gonna lie :D i think i skipped like 90% of each bosses mechanics. currently playing through again without using mimic tear. it's quite a lot harder :D
Thats unfortunately elden rings gimmick. Unlike other from games where skill was the primary basis as to how someone would win (save for summons), Elden Ring took the approach of "yeah just give them extremely OP BS to win."

As long as you enjoy using that, is not the game´s problem, is your preference. Heh… my Mimic is trash. I use a diverse quality build, so I only survive by the skills I gained playing all of the SoulsBorne games. First, I used the halberd, wind knight summon. Then, I got Dung Eater. Lvl - 155 Vig - 38 Min - 22 just enough for Ashes End - 15 Str - 33 Dex - 40 Int - 24 certain spells/armament Faith - 46 enough for Fort’s Light. Spears Arc - 20 Rivers is lame. Gunna reduce to 15/17 for DragComm Encant. 97% of the game I’ve used Treespear, 1.5% Great Stars, 1% an early greatsword, 0.5% various. Meteorite Staff and Arrow’s Reach talisman for Rock Sling. Hierodas Glintstone Crown. Just beat Duo at ~315 hours and still not done with 1st play-through. I’m treating this like BoTW and exploring EVERYthing. Gunna try to have and do every thing and ending in one play through, minus madness stuff and ending. Saving that for my first NG+.
@@slakeNsurge That's an interesting build. highly recommend using any Dragoncrest and non physical defensive talismans, so you don't die quickly. And would also recommend level up 'till 165 so you can up your vigor.
Anyone else got a fear of endings? I got to the rahdagon fight and just left the game..... I know there's so much more to do but I can't bring myself to finishing the story....
I played through the whole game with a bleed build. Mogh spear, flies, rivers, the works. Mimic tear was the hardest boss of the game, died twice as many times as I did to Malenia. Even Radagon didn't give me as much trouble as the mimic. Ironically, the stray one was easier, because I had figured out my own moveset better by then.
Not downgrading his hardness for others but I beat him first try no summons on my first no spoiler run, so imagine my surprise when I finally look online at elden ring stuff and see people getting suplexed 20 times in a row 😂

Godfrey montage? INstant like. I dont get people who blame the game to be balanced around op summons etc. I beat the game in 60 hours in my first playthrough without all of that. It is very managable and definitely not bull shit (except god skin duo)
i accidentally made my mimic tear OP with my moonveil build so while he aggros the boss i stand back and fire spells at them, i don’t think i would have beat the game without it
I can't fucking wait to get on Malenia. I bought my game some days ago but i am trying to do everything to get everything on the first play so i will take some time till i get there. I don't mind if i die that much, my only concern is about the loading time every time you die. I m playing on ps4, so, maybe its faster on ps5, but the loading screen get me really mad to wait.
Yeah one thing that surprised me is the fact that on ps5 loading time is stoopid fast. There aren't event the quick tips you get on the bottom left on PS4. Imo though loading time on PS4 isn't too bad, at least I can have a break to cry after dieing a thousand times to malenia

Watching this, how the fuck did I finish this game!? Hoarah Loux and Radagon look fricken hard as nails! I have just finished the Demon's Souls Remake and that game is worlds apart from this one, The False King looks like a tutorial boss nowadays. These guys are relentless compared.

You can't later that day make a fair review from word of mouth and appearance alone, because that's not a review, that is a journalistic farce. I can't review High Guardian Spice, but I've seen how bad it is via reviews. Does that mean I know the complete hilarity of Bread.png? No. That only primes me to prepare for a bad experience, but I can't have one for myself if I never watch the damn show. In that same note, you can't review Elden Ring if you haven't beaten the game once; let alone without leaving Limgrave or entering Stormveil Castle. That is not a review, that is a waste of time in the form of ramblings and an insult to the money you spent. You buy a game, then damn it, you owe it, if not to the devs, then to yourself, to complete it.

I played every single fromsoft game of this genre, and completed all but sekiro. And this game was easily the worst, the most imbalanced, and least challenging. Malenia the supposed hardest boss in fromsoft history, I befallen in 2 minutes solo using a pure dex build 1st try. I recently fought slave knight gael and sister friede again (dark souls 3 ashes of ariandel, and painted world of ariandel dlcs respectively) and those bosses really show what it means to be a fromsoft boss. Gael being my favorite boss of all time across any video game. It just disappoints me how fromsoft's idea of difficulty for veteran players is making things either unearthly unfair or they just say fuck it and make it the easiest shit in the world. Elden Ring was the easiest (maybe even the worst) fromsoft game to date.

Radagon is rather easy to beat consistently. I really struggle with Elden BEast lol

Honestly Horah loux is only hard when you start lagging and the hitboxes are ass, his grab attacks are slower then the heavy roll
