There is a flaw in the lyrics. The word "proved" is incorrect. Otherwise, I am truly inspired to have listened to the voices of these young women of BYU and the lyrics and of their song. I humbly thank all who were involved in the production of this video. Lori Hoberock
Lori H, in this version, the ladies say "when prayer so often seemed in vain", not "proved in vain". I personally consider the verb "to seem" more appropriate, because praying is never in vain. That's why I love this cover. May God bless you.

Ein wunderbares Lied, wunderbar gesungen. Man/Frau kann sich echt erholen, bei dieser Musik ... die Botschaft kommt an, weil dieses Lied weniger Selbstdarstellung ist.
I've heard this song performed by other groups and of course in the movie , but this is my favorite by far. The soloists voices are so perfect. Having this performed by a group of young women helped the words to reach my heart and think about what miracles I can achieve. Thank you!
@@vagaz1000 One Voice is good as well, but I believe this to be the better rendition overall. The atmosphere, the torches being held in the dark, the marching of the sisters of god just came together so well.

There is nothing like You Lord. Glory to You. And there is nothing that we can't do when we believe in You. This one is my favorite version of the song!

There's a peace which only LORD JESUS CHRIST can give (JOHN 14:27) , do you have that? That peace of GOD surpasses all understanding, it will guard your heart and mind in CHRIST JESUS. (Philipians 4:7) Don't be depressed dear, Cast all your cares on him , for he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
I'm an agnostic stuck into a turmoil of I want to believe but I still have doubtful thoughts. This song is just marvelous and at 3:00 I could feel THE God, can't say his name cause I do not know but that '' being touched me ' . I like that feeling.
The girl holding down the bass notes throughout the song is the real hero....finding a talented bass vocalist (in a girls choir no less) is harder than hell. She nailed it full props to her. The glory always goes to the altos and sopranos.
No single vocal artist who sang this song including those professional commercial level performers and Disney original team, can compare to this team's wonderful voice. They sang as if they were angels from the heaven.
My favourite version - subtle but significant change: when prayer so often SEEMED (rather than the original PROVED, or even PROVES for some singers) in vain. Our God listens, and our God answers! As He did with Hannah, that's why she named her God-given son Samuel (i.e. God hears; 1 Samuel 1:20). Thank you, BYU Noteworthy and BYU Women's Chorus, for making this song so much better!
Beautiful voices! When I taught elementary school Sunday School, we did a unit on Moses, and then topped it off with a pizza party one Sunday after church to watch the Prince of Egypt...
Lord, give me faith to believe, even when everything seems so hopeless and relationships so strained it feels like it is impossible they will every be restored

Listening to this poem for the Nth time, I was very touched. These poetry teams, people close to God, are awesome! We believe in the Lord Jesus together, so we strive to make the world see His glory, Hallelujah!
This song gives me hope while I am having major opposition against me following what God wants me to do. I keep thinking about Nephi. If God commands he prepares a way. My faith is being tested daily but I'm holding on.
I was amazed to learn that ALL NINE of 2017/18 BYU Noteworthy have previously spent 18 months serving as missionaries around the world. This inspiring song becomes more beautiful through the faith and love of these singers who truly "BELIEVE."

There is a flaw in the lyrics. The word "proved" is incorrect. Otherwise, I am truly inspired to have listened to the voices of these young women of BYU and the lyrics and of their song. I humbly thank all who were involved in the production of this video. Lori Hoberock
Thank you a milion for the translation of the middle part May God bless you😌
Lori H, in this version, the ladies say "when prayer so often seemed in vain", not "proved in vain". I personally consider the verb "to seem" more appropriate, because praying is never in vain. That's why I love this cover. May God bless you.
Many thanks for posting the lyrics!

Jesus Christ always pray every day amen
amen amen
I got chills when y’all were marching together,an army of women who fear the lord
Many nights we prayed with no proof anyone could hear.
In our hearts a hope for a song we barely understood.
Now we are not afraid, although we know there's much to fear.
We were moving mountains long before we knew we could.
There can be miracles when you believe.
Though hope is frail, it’s hard to kill.
Who knows what miracles you can achieve?
When you believe somehow you will,
You will when you believe.
In this time of fear when prayer so often proves in vain,
Hope seems like the summer bird too swiftly flown away.
Yet now I'm standing here, my heart so full, I can't explain,
Seeking faith and speaking words I never thought I'd say.
A-shi-ra I'a-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah
(I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously.)
Mi-cha-mo-cha ba-e-lim adonai
(Who is like You, oh Lord, among the celestials?)
Mi-ka-mo-cha ne-dar-ba-ko-desh
(Who is like You, majestic in holiness?)
Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta
(In Your love, You lead the people You redeemed.)
A-shi-ra, a-shi-ra, A-shi-ra (I will sing, I will sing, I will sing!)
A-shir-ra I'a-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah
(I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously.)
What a perfect message for the times we are in with the world-wide pandemic, especially on this global day of fasting and prayer. There CAN be miracles!
Agreed! Music is such a powerful reminder of God's goodness, we'd like to invite you to check out some of ours. Hope you are well and whole and finding daily miracles.
@@ProclaimBand And there ARE miracles every day!
Indeed! There's hope when we believe. For Christ Jesus has given us a lively living hope.
I can't stop listening to this. It's so beautiful, angelic, jaw-droppingly gorgeous, the list goes on and on. Even more incredible, just think- heaven sounds better than this. Like, wow. A beautiful blend of deeply motivational and deeply calming. Praise the Lord!
2:17 me neither. But, that’s my favorite song from the prince of Egypt.
Miracles happen every day, sometimes don't see em but in human nature they there
LOVE IS BACK IN THE WORLD; BRAVO.
🤗💖💌
Ein wunderbares Lied, wunderbar gesungen. Man/Frau kann sich echt erholen, bei dieser Musik ... die Botschaft kommt an, weil dieses Lied weniger Selbstdarstellung ist.
I've heard this song performed by other groups and of course in the movie , but this is my favorite by far. The soloists voices are so perfect. Having this performed by a group of young women helped the words to reach my heart and think about what miracles I can achieve. Thank you!

Try to hear One Voice Children Choir’s version. Maybe you’ll change your mind
Fernando Simandalahi i have heard it. Lovely, but doesn't speak to me the same way this version does.
Great way to look at it. I also find this inspiring and am proud of what these ladies have accomplished in this piece.
amin
@@vagaz1000 One Voice is good as well, but I believe this to be the better rendition overall. The atmosphere, the torches being held in the dark, the marching of the sisters of god just came together so well.
Belief in God suppresses fear in the devil.Thank you Noteworthy for making this clear.
I like the fact that all your sisters are dress so modestly makes me very happy
Chris A ma too
Me too
Chris A Frankly that's kinda creepy. But okay
Isn’t it amazing how beautiful they all are without resorting to hootchy skirts and barely there tops! They respect themselves and that makes me respect them so much more. Great job!
It's creepy that someone appreciates women who dress classy instead of skanky? All righty then...
When I watch this video I see myself singing with my sisters, and then I realize just how big my family really is
There is nothing like You Lord. Glory to You. And there is nothing that we can't do when we believe in You.
This one is my favorite version of the song!
My daughter loves this song sooooooooo much, It's super pretty.
What a beautiful song to listen to and feel the spirit.

@GODS Messenger ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 We are all the same person experiencing life in a bunch of different bodies which means that every person that you meet is really YOU living in another body!!! You see, you are interacting with YOURSELF at all times and once you realize this you can achieve UNITY✨🙏✨
Such a beautiful worldwide church Christ has!!!!! ALL Peoples!!
You young ladies are awesome. I have watched this video 15 times and cannot get enough of it. The harmonies are fantastic, the changes in key is fantastic. Very, very, well done.
Amazing...Thank you all.
What a song. What a message. What a group. What a video. What an inspiration.
what a comment
Frankincensed lol 😂
I agree, sir. So well said!
Did u know that Is a song by Mariah Carey ❤ And Whitney Houston?
3:14-3:17 💯 % agreed.
Prayer is something I have a hard time with, because when my health was really bad, I begged God to take my pain away, but I still have it. I know there’s a reason for it, I just with it would go away.
Simply magical.... I felt like i was in heaven ! What melody, simple video, softy voices...
Congratulations, this song touched my deeper soul 👏
Watching your videos are time worthy.
These Ladies and song are special
It just keeps getting better. Women power! Prayers ARE ANSWERED AND I HAVE BEEN PART OF AND WITNESS TO MIRACLES NO MAN CAN EXPLAIN! THANK YOU JESUS! AMEN YOUR MUSIC IS PULLING SECRETS I CARRY ..OUT! ITS HEALING...YOU MAKE ME BRAVE. I WISH I COULD TELL THE WHOLE WORLD THE SECRETS I HAVE FOR MANKIND. JESUS LOVES US SOOO MUCH.
THAT WAS AMAZING!!! Growing up, Prince of Egypt was my favorite movie to watch. But listening to this song again in an a cappella version has made me love it all over again! Thank you to BYU Noteworthy for doing this song!!! God bless each and every one of you!
Abigail Hamachi 💯💯💯💯💯
The best Mormon chorus I have ever heard.
alahya18 are they from the church of Jesus Christ of latter days saints ?
@@Tessacndk Yes. BYU is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints.
Very pretty! This is one of my favorite songs. I'm in One Voice Children's Choir and we sing this song, too! I love your version!!
i was thinking of One Voice, Love One Voice! this is a beautiful version also!
Reese Oliveira I love one voice children's choir keep up the great work that you kids do ❤❤❤❤
Oh wow I beleive
I love voice..
Reese Oliveira you guys are so much better
At the end of XVI and beginning of XVII century literature became so good IT created a new church. The Church of England. It has ( literature) changed the lives of many people. God bless The Church of England, and their marvelous literature. Wojciech.
I'm pretty sure I've fallen in love with the first soloist. Gorgeous smile. Beautiful voice.
This song brings me out of Depression but if I feel weak or sad a little little I will cry in a good way of peace and happiness ❤
There's a peace which only LORD JESUS CHRIST can give (JOHN 14:27) , do you have that?
That peace of GOD surpasses all understanding, it will guard your heart and mind in CHRIST JESUS. (Philipians 4:7)
Don't be depressed dear,
Cast all your cares on him , for he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7
From Egypt Jesus bless youمن مصر
Terima kasih🇮🇩
I'm an agnostic stuck into a turmoil of I want to believe but I still have doubtful thoughts. This song is just marvelous and at 3:00 I could feel THE God, can't say his name cause I do not know but that '' being touched me ' . I like that feeling.
I will ask you something, do you want to meet a king?
This song is beautiful, and Noteworthy sings it exquisitely.
The girl holding down the bass notes throughout the song is the real hero....finding a talented bass vocalist (in a girls choir no less) is harder than hell. She nailed it full props to her. The glory always goes to the altos and sopranos.
This brought tears to my eyes. I love Jesus so much!! 💕❤💕❤🙏
1:14-1:25 me too. And, my family and I are born Christian.
מה קשור פה ישו ? קריעת ים סוף , אז ישיר משה ,
I love You Papa Jesus❤
No single vocal artist who sang this song including those professional commercial level performers and Disney original team, can compare to this team's wonderful voice. They sang as if they were angels from the heaven.
I like the Tawain University's version slightly more than this one
That’s good 👍🏻
Lord, give me faith to believe, even when everything seems so hopeless and relationships so strained it feels like it is impossible they will every be restored
Is there anything more beautiful than one of God's women?
Beautiful women with beautiful voices God really did give you the gift
You all did an Amazing job on the song and it is so inspiring and brings hope to the world.👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇲
Lucy and her sister are angels and everytime I here there songs it gives me chills
An athiest here to say you did great! Talent supercedes the subject, and you're great.
Captain Chibi - That is so kind of you to say! (Not that it’s really my place to thank you for them, I’m just saying... it touched me, and I wanted to tell you. ☺️)
I wish to thank you for sharing this awesome Christian music video with me .
I can't help myself fall in love with this song in the angelic way you all singing. I feel like i 'm in heaven.
my brother and my sister don't forget the son of God is will come back soon.
and we need to pray through people need to help the lord Jesus Christ we are the children of God.
We need more people like you in this period of time. O Lord bless them all.....
I want to cry because of the beauty and delivery of the song....... Really beautiful and touching.
Although there's much to fear, just believe. You will when believe. So inspiring. Thanks for your inspiration.
Who else is here in 2024 ❤🎉🎉
Listening to this poem for the Nth time, I was very touched. These poetry teams, people close to God, are awesome! We believe in the Lord Jesus together, so we strive to make the world see His glory, Hallelujah!
3:16-3:19 so is my family.
Amen....I just hope this kinda songs will be sang in heaven..........glory to God for all who worship him in music and in spirit and truth
That "na na na" part was so mesmerizing!
3:16-3:17 yes, it does.
This is me and my oldest daughter favorite song
I started crying when they were singing the Hebrew part. Beautiful.
2:43 so am I.
I am not a religious person but i believe this the sound of heaven.
세상에서 가장 좋아하는 음악 너희는 자주 나와서 불러라 기분 넘 나 좋아 천사들의 노래를 듣는듯 하구나 최고중에 최고다
사랑한다 넘 보고싶다
Beautiful song and message, I deeply pray that you all will find the truth, the church Christ assembled and died for does not have a mortal man representing it, I pray all of you see this.
Amen.
Love is the greatest gift that GOD has given us. It's free choose love ❤
It's been weeks since being ravaged by COVID-19. But hearing this beautiful song, brings tears to my eyes. from the lyrics it says:
"In this time of fear
When prayer so often proves in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away"
What do we do? "BELIEVE!"
AMAZING tuning within the AMAZING voices! Beautiful young ladies that dress appropriately. Way to go!!!
Im just in awe that these women can produce that bass. Mind blown.
I love how smooth their voices sound together and the words brings hope and light into my heart. Glory to the one true God!
Thank you ladies. Glory to God !
I dont really believe in God, but today somthing bring me to here
Be HE believes in you. That is why you are here.
This song makes me cry, cause while listening to this, I pray to God for his help to help me better myself. Lord, forgive me for all my sins.
I cold listen to these ladies all day long and never tire of their voices.
merle me too
Amazing!!! All glory to God Who took us from Egypt, from this world and is leading us to His Holy Land, New Jerusalem!
