Hope you guys enjoyed the run! Performing at a GDQ event has been a big dream of mine ever since I started speedrunning, had a blast doing it.
Also apologies for the misbalanced audio at the start of the run, there was a miscommunication between myself and the tech crew and we ended up starting before everything was set up properly (as you can probably tell by me being completely unprepared to begin!)

The fun thing is that in the in-game context, no one would know wolf was immortal, just a ridiculously effective ninja that just seems to “show up” wherever he needs to be and push his enemies into a corner to slap them mercilessly

Sword Saint is probably the hardest fight i have ever done. Him and Laurence from Bloodborne were absolutely horrendous

The grapple is an incognito spiderman web, but he reminds me of deadpool as a character . Probably the sword and not minding about getting a hand cut off

@@justinbuergi9867 Depends on what platform you got Sekiro but at my first playthrough on PC when I got really stuck for days on a certain bosses I just used an cheat for time being and after certain fight I just turned it off and again played without it until I got stucked again lol(happened about 4-5 times especially on that monkey fuck that shit). I did second playthrough without cheats tho cause I felt a little bit dirty after that lmao and then again I was stuck for couple of days on that fucking monkey and genichiro without cheat although I watched some guides on yt to beat them.
I don't play from software games often but sekiro was my first game from this developer that I've finished. And I had easy platinum trophy witch took me another week to complete. It's Roy fun game that needs a little bit of practicing your timing with parries.

i beat dark soul 1 for the first time a couple months ago. and i got 1 more DLC left for DS2. big fan of these games now. i was thinking about playing Sekiro next before i get into DS3 and now i have changed my mind lmao i dont why i just spoiled myself watching this i couldnt stop watching! it was a damn good run considering how hard my friends said this game was compared to soulborn games. i think ill just jump into DS3 until Elden Ring comes out haha that trailer tho For Elden looked so fking good tho..

Played Sekiro last year. First soulsborne game. have bad reflexes. mistake #1
playing without walkthrough, completely miss chained ogre, think the Hirata Estate flashback is the only way to progress. mistake #2
get stuck for about 12 hours on Madame Butterfly (technically my first actual boss), is only able to get to her second phase in the last 2 hours of that, get instarekt by nigh-undodgeable butterflies that come with each attack. wtf
conclusion: looks fun but I'm coming back to it when I've grown up from the noob I am

Fromsoft is not really known for patching those sort of things. But if they did, the runner could just roll back the update.

It's challenging indeed, but definitely beatable with time and dedication.
Honestly this games biggest disappointment is how short and lack of reputability it has. The gameplay itself is solid but you find yourself flying through once you learn it
Man I remember how any% initially looked like it'd be a blast to run especially after the discovery of snake skip, bull skip, and five monkeys OOB.
Then airswim was discovered and turned into a pretty boring run to watch and run.
There is a no airswimming category if you want to run and watch that. If enough people think a category becomes boring they usually split it

Mortal Draw. You get it when you get the Mortal Blade. The attack that was cancelled is the One Mind combo Isshin does where he sets the floor on fire.
