When it comes to reliability, maintenance and repair, you will thank them for the old school stuff. Some of these modern electronic gimmicks just serve to make repairs a nightmare, while some are unnecessary. It's not difficult at all to adjust a seat manually, to use a manual handbrake etc. Dead easy and offers peace of mind, takes worry off having to constantly think about what if they break.
For a bit more I could get a top of the range forester or even a base model Pajero Sport. And for way way less (15K) I could get a top of the range Stonic. So weird.
@@maxd4968 You might find that the Suzuki Allgrip prestige is currently $50,946 drive away (in a colour) and the Forester S is $51,940. $994 difference is minimal when you compare what you get in these 2 vehicles. You can get a base model 4WD Pajero sport for only $52,240 ($1294 more) or a comparable (to the Suzuki) top of the range Seltos for $45,810. Clearly Suzuki isn’t interested in selling cars anymore.
Looking at the interior, it's not soft touch and stylish but it looks like its gonna stay in good nick for a long time, same as things like 10 year old plus Swifts, SX4s you see for sale. If you are gonna keep the car for a long time and its gonna have to deal with all the crap a bunch of kids are gonna throw at it its easier to understand. Plus a conventional 6spd torque converter auto in Aus spec cars (one of the euro spec cars gets a robotised manual, yuck) rather than a fragile CVT or Dual clutch. I reckon its gonna be a good car for someone who is gonna keep it a while or put on lots of kays relative to some other 'nicer' options. I like it.
Good morning that was a excellent review of this car I have watched a few videos on this car thinking about buying one but watching your video iam thinking about buying something else...cheers Phil from Newark
I saw this review and thought it couldn't be that bad. I was wrong. As indicated if it was cheaper it would be a good contender. It's missing out on too much at that price and the quality of materials looks quite horrible.
En que país vive usted? En EU el AWD AT cuesta 29 k€, y estoy encantado con él. En el mercado europeo no existe otro automóvil que por ese precio brinde las mismas prestaciones.
Do you no if the warranty and the roadside assist is the same all countries because in England the roadside assist is only 1 year and the car warranty is 3 years
The sun roof is my main dislike they tend to leak eventually. Most have channels that drain down the pillars and block up allowing water to come in at floor level.
@Ivan Pekic No new engines for eg ( no upgrade whether in power or efficiency ) Interior severely lacking ( 1 usb port , no rear vents , basic screen , no digital gauge cluster) The price is ridiculous for what you get .
@Ivan Pekic Makes sense but in Australia way too many better and cheaper alternatives in the same segment like the Kia Seltos , Hyundai Kona , Toyota CH-R , Yaris Cross and Corolla Cross , Honda HR-V , ZR-V and CR-V , Nissan Qashqai, X-Trail for similar money
Suzuki is kidding themselves across their entire range. I think they thought the pandemic craze would continue. In Asia, their cars are fine due to all the import fees but down under, they feel 15 years behind. This car should be 12k less or similar to MG that I see everywhere.
@@grantreid8583 Hey, all about hating a company through feelings. But, numbers and facts don't care about feelings. It is selling like hot cakes here for a reason.
you are absolutly right. If you are taller than 1,80m you can't buy this car, because your hair/head almost touches the roof on the drivers seat. The quality isn't good, no usb ports, etc. You can get here now for 25000€ 4WD fully loaded comfort+, but its still too much. A new CX 30 is about 26500€

The sunroof opening is one of the largest on the market, making it perfect for people who loves convertibles but need the space of a SUV.

We just bought a forester s for 51 so quite a bit more

@@Andrew-dc7nl Just in your country I guess. In my country they start from 23 and a top of the line one is 30
Yup, in Europe they are dirt cheap compared to competitors
I like this review. Pragmatic and genuine criticism is helpful. Thanks

Would you consider reviewing an ignis in a manual?

@Jake Wrigley. What the f*ck!!! It is a great car!! Go check it out yourself!

The front copies forester, the back a rav4, the interior a Mitsubishi and a Hyundai. That said - much better than the old one.

Could you explain, what a lid is?
If I want to spend more, I definitely will go to other Japanese brands, if I want save some money, haval h6 or GT base model is best choice
Im thinking about getting this car with coil overs
i'll take the reliability and old school...thank you very much! but yes, price is a coupla K's high imo.
Whaat, it's like 29000 USD here for all grip prestige version
Which is $43K in $Aus
Suzuki didn’t hold back on the sunroof , nice…
The sun roof is my main dislike they tend to leak eventually. Most have channels that drain down the pillars and block up allowing water to come in at floor level.
I agree, its a quite sharp looking car upfront but rear is too 'squared' up.
Crazy pricing. Why would you buy this over a CX30??? Seriously.
Why would you buy this over any other car 😂.
Whether cars in the same segment or even bigger you're better off getting anything else 😅.

Gosh you really do complain about everything ! lol
Made in india🤔, looks awesome
I like the look and I quite like the rear but I think the rear tail lights will look better in some colours
It’s made in Hungry
Aren’t those back seats meant for kids?
Great review.
Heck even suzuki offered panoramic sunroof yet mazda never offered
its australian dollars so pretty much same price as in Europe:
Almost 45k for a Suzuki.... ur joking right?
You mean 51K drive away.
@@Andrew-dc7nl in india this should be around 20k-35k
In Slovakia (Europe) 22 990 €
Suzuki is not for the wining aussies with huge overweight!
Emily you can buy a HOLDEN and rate it 10/10.ha ha ha
You lost me at the rear end.

The suzuki will still be around when the MG is just a pile of rust.

Mg quality is just rubbish, can't compare with a Suzuki.
its not made in Japan with such high price. Will lost its market for sure.
202KW AWD subaru WRX only 4K more 🤪🤣🤣🤣
Nissan Quashquai though has a RENAULT engine and KIA cars have major issues after 5 years. Suzuki is far better
Nice little car but I think it's $10,000 overpriced
There are no more cheap cars, a new Dacia costs almost like a Mazda now.
it is overpriced by A$15000...15 thousand dollars. it should be A$30000 drive away no more to pay.
It’s a doomed model

For that price you can score a CX5 ,Forrester,RAV4 full size suv not compact
Depends on the market
Why suzuki cars are expensive??
The build quality is amazing and they never break down. Maintaining is cheap🎉
in your country...
Idiotic pricing for what you get. Pass.
