Farmers gearing up for Kisan Maha Panchayat at Khanauri Border on Friday
The stage is set for the Kisan Maha Panchayat scheduled to take place on Saturday, with over 1 lakh people, predominantly from farming communities across Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan, expected to converge. The event has drawn significant attention, particularly as it coincides with the 40 day of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal's fast unto death. A fortification has been done around the venue where Dallewal is observing fast. Farmers are preparing langar and sound system are being installed.
