  • ✅➜amzn.to/3oSx7Jp or ➜ebay.us/6piN8t, If you AC is blinking or flashing it could be an easy fix instead of an expensive repair. Try the stuff first! I changed out my AC clutch fan relay and it fixed my problem. You can go with the factory replacement part or OEM. Here are the parts you can use to fix your hot AC problem. My truck is a 2012 Toyota Tundra 4.6L two wheel drive. You can also trouble shoot by using a horn relay that is in your fuse box before buying the actual part. The two part numbers that work are listed down below.
Clutch Fan Relay part number 90987-02028 12V made by DENSO
Standard AC Relay part number 35874 made by FourSeasons
If you engine is making a weird noise intermittently, AC blowing hot air or not cold, and AC button light is blinking then it could be any easy relay replacement. If this does not fix your AC problem then you might want a shop to look at it and check your cooling system. Your AC system could be low on freon, bad RMP speed sensor to the compressor, AC compressor could be bad, could have a leak somewhere, bad condenser or evaporator coil.

Was your compressor clutch spinning still or did the relay stop it from spinning/cycling.

Thank you for this video! I just had this problem on the way home in 102 degree heat. I hope this is the fix!

I have these exact symptoms. Flashing A/C light, the same noise…everything. The replacement relay did not mitigate the issue. Suggestions for next steps?

Go to an A/C shop or dealership and have them diagnose your A/C components specifically the A/C compressor.

My Tacoma ac only blinks about 30 seconds after I first turn it on. Turning the ac off and on again fixes it for the duration of the drive. My freon is full, belts are new and relay is new. What else could it be?

Most likely a clutch sticking. My tundra did the same 2 months ago. It’s winter here so I had no need until a few days ago to fix it. I had to change the whole compressor unit. The old one had good bearings 3/4 of the rotation but that 1/4 it wouldn’t
Let the clutch engage… btw it was a pain in the ass to deal with!! Damn engineers!!!

Awesome, thx for posting. I have a similar issue & looking at other videos showing replacement of clutch and/or compressor is a huge task in comparison. Draining & replenishing looks like something I don't really want to tackle, too many special tools. I'm going to check my relay first. ;-)

Yes try easy stuff 1st. You can alway return the relay too if it doesn't make a difference. Hope you figure it out.

I had a friend with the same problem and it was an evaporator coil behind his dashboard. I also have seen where the AC compressor clutch could be bad too. Hope you figure it out.

I’ve completely changed everything on my 2010 Lexus IS350 at this point I’m just going to get rid of it, because nothing has seemed to work. The AC light stays lit for less than a min and start blinking.

Mine blinked the other day and stopped cooling. After shutting it off and then back on, it started working again. Not sure what happened....

Sounds like a bad A/C compressor. Let me know what you find. Good luck.

What if the ac IA blowing cold but all the lights are blinking still and your car dies?

the traverse i am looking at buying has no a/c it flashes the a/c lights a couple of times when you try to hit the extra cooling button but the light goes right back off. and i heard no weird noises from it but it doesnt seem to have great airflow either way? could lower airflow be a sign of a bad compressor or could it be something as easy as a relay? the air blows somewhat but not cold

Excuse me, what is the size of the amp for the relay?

I have the same problem and the same sound, and I tried relays 20 amps and 35 amps. They said you need a new air conditioner compressor. Is this correct or not? Please reply
