    I love that they gave an interview about their brand. I loved their childhood work as I’m a millennial woman, I used to love a New York Minute but now I have an adult life and I no longer like to be associated with things that I find cringey I used to like 10+ yrs ago. I’m glad they’ve made the Row and re-wrote their story as adults. I couldn’t imagine being called a girl at 29 so I can understand how frustrating it is at 37.

      You put it so well❤ I think it shows how much people can grow, evolve and take hold of their own stories. Thank you so much for watching❤

      😂 true! I rewatched some of their movies with my 13 yo. (As I used to watch them with my mom, when they first came out). We just collectively cringed and felt secondhand embarrassment throughout the whole thing…😅
      It is nice to see them turn their lives around…

      I grew up with them since I was 2! My mom turned it on and I would stare and always watch was same . It was “the Michelle show,” she says. I loved Uncle Jesse too! Still do but in a different way lol 🥵🔥
      My mom gave me pics of it! 🤷🏻‍♀️ So strange to see but not a bad way. I am 37 along with them and PROUD of growing up loving to be able to say every word to every episode of Full House, tell who’s who and when they’d switch. Driving my older sister nuts! 😆 .. still can too! Then over the years getting 3 of everything incase 2 were damaged, no jk 😅 All originals then upgraded to 📀 DVD! Anything ever made!
      Our First Video that I still have, along with 2 copies of every movie ever made just in case the So, proudly, 3 of each:
      •Full House collections of all 8 seasons (2 Houses, 1 full 8 series individual bundles)
      •The Adventures of.
      •You’re Invited to..

      •So Little Time
      •Our First Video
      •To Grandmother’s House We Go •Double Double Toil n Trouble
      •Little Rascals (only 1)
      •How the West was Fun
      •It Takes Two
      •Billboard Dad
      •Passport to Paris
      •Switching Goals
      •Our Lips Are Sealed
      •Winning London
      •Holiday in the Sun
      •Getting There
      •When in Rome
      •The Challenge
      •New York Minute
      Recordings of all interviews and guests on talk shows : Arseno, Regis n Kelly, Rosie, Oprah, Ellen, others…
      I have to admit that I am disappointed they did not do any appearances on Fuller House as I feel they owe all of their fame to that show, and they forgot where they came from, starting at six and nine months old until they were almost 9 yrs old! But will always love them, admire them, see how they are, and cannot wait to see what Ashley’s baby Otto looks like 🥰
      They blessed me with such great memories that filled my childhood with happiness that I’ll forever love and cherish. I still sit and watch every film and show to this day! But I can say, I will never pay the prices for anything higher than Elizabeth and James lol… not my style and waaaay out of my price range!! 🤑🤑
      Very proud of you ladies!! All my love and support sent your way!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼
      Edit: noticing how long this is, thanks if you take the time to read it lol.

    I loved this article! There’s something so smart about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsens hesitancy to do press/their lack of participation on social media. When they do speak however, it always affirms why I love them so much and the incredible brand they’ve built. I was a long time lover/client of Barneys and grew up going until the day they closed, so I remember the year they dropped their bag collection and remember it being instantly covetable 😍
    I’m a forever fan of The Row and can see myself buying from them for the rest of my own life, along with several other members of my family who see themselves doing the same. It’s just so cool to think of a brand being truly intergenerational. I love the longevity their styles provide; not only in agelessness but in quality 🩶

      You and your mom are the OGs have such an iconic collection, beautiful pieces to be passed down❤ I can only imagine what it must have been like when their bag collection launched at Barneys. Truly love how this brand is the epitome of intergenerational ageless and quality design❤❤❤

    Honestly half the time I forget they were child stars and think of them more as these designers

      I feel you, I was in the age bracket growing up where they were everywhere as child stars, but they have reclaimed their image. Thank you for watching❤

    Wow, what a wonderful video! The Row is such a magnificent brand. I love their moody, minimalist aesthetic and I love how intelligently you break down their style (it's really an art).

    The Row has definitely been growing a lot this past year. I personally always admired the brand, but only started investing in pieces last year. I have to say, my The Row pieces are the most used, most beloved, most sturdy items in my closet. To the average person, they don’t look like much, they might not even look “expensive”-but that’s precisely why I love wearing them on a daily basis. They make functional clothing and accessories that really are ageless, comfortable, and meant to last. I especially love shopping in the sales for this brand, but some items, even at full price, are well worth the price tag if you just consider cost per wear.

      I'm with you on these items being some of the most beloved, comfortable and meant to last pieces with excellent cost per wear❤ Thank you so much for watch!

    I remember there first pieces. Leather leggings, just best…..TeeShirts hallelujah. And their jackets. Love them. I miss Barney’s. Soooooooo much. They had the best selection of everything Phoebe …I heard years ago that they traveled the US shopping high quality designer thrift. To the point almost nothing was left. They bought up everything they could have old couture. They have always LOVED clothes. ( me too😎)

    beautiful video. MK and Ashely are fashion designers for almost 2 decades and people are still surprised by that. i don't understand why...

      Yes, I think many are quick to disregard celebrity designers, but I think they've earned their status in the fashion world❤

    I love your coverage of brands like the row and Pheobe. Great article…they seemed a little aloof, in a good way, and very thoughtful about the responses they were giving. They were very careful with the words they chose to describe their brand. And that was smart. I think it’s OK to say they are one of the hottest brands of 2023. It’s been a long time coming, and this has been the year of the row. I think next year will be Phoebe’s year though lol.

    • @MarysRoom
      @MarysRoom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I agree! Yeah it feels weird to say but they've put in the work and they deserve the recognition. Ohh yes I can't wait to see what 2024 has in store for PP❤

    I've never really liked it when brands advertise themselves as "timeless" (always seems to be a codeword for boring, conservative and creatively stagnant), but The Row does "timeless" in a way that seems so forward and dynamic, especially since they've started showing in Paris.

    • @MarysRoom
      @MarysRoom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree, there is something timeless but forward at the same time with the Row. Interesting point about Paris, why do you say that?

      @@MarysRoomI don't know, I feel that since they moved their shows to Paris, they've produced collections that one wouldn't really typically associate with modern-day minimalism. It's intriguing and exciting to see what they produce each season.

    • @MarysRoom
      @MarysRoom  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, there is something about their recent growth, direction and showing in Paris that is correlated. Thank you for watching❤

    I think the Row customer is more in line with the Old Celine customer and now that Phoebe Philo is back how will they do?

    • @dva5610
      @dva5610 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Just fine because Phoebe Philo isn’t exactly a minimalist designer

    • @MarysRoom
      @MarysRoom  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I do wonder why is there this desire to put these designers against each other? They both add something different and I'm personally glad we get to experience them both. Thank you for watching!

    Forget to mention where and who actually produces their stuff? Yeah, I thought so, but no worries.....we already know that they make millions at the expense of third world people and kids. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

    Two short women start a clothing brand and…
    … and don’t make petite sizes that would fit them.
