After a long time Rajasthan's tableau was in parade this time. ❤ From last republic day, Haryana's tableau was one of best. Craft was amazing. Theme as well, was based on epic Mahabharata State Tableaux are best part of this day's parade. I never miss it. I have been watching it continuously for 6-7 years now yet I never found anything repetitive. it seems each state has got a lot to show and our diversity is just limitless.

Every year, all the states send in their tableaus but they have to compete. Only the best ones or those that thematically match up to a the R-day theme of that particular year are chosen. All states don't make the cut.

I am from Goa India. Our tableau participated in republic day parade 2024 but not shown.I am very much upset because every year we won the prizes for best tableau.
Republic day parade is every year based on that year's theme like Women empowerment this year. All 28 states send their Tableaus which then are accepted or rejected based on that year theme. This year 20 were accepted and 8 rejected.
This year parade is full of women defence personals. Please watch full and then discuss by showing picture of that. In parade all included army power showcase, parade of different regiments, tableaus from selected ststes (selected best from all states) , tableaus from different departments of Govt. Cultural dance, motorcycle stunt (this year done by female team) at last air show.
