Thank you for pointing out how difficult it would be to add new things in previous pages! I think this is the ultimate reason why it's not a practical notetaking device. My boyfriend does intensive notetaking/writing/calculation on paper for his PhD program so I am looking a tablet or 2in1 laptop which really allows him to write very fast and unobstructed. I have watched a ton of reviews about Yoga Book but you are the only person to point out this flaw. Thank you!!

Great review but I have a few questions about this laptop.
What is the average CPU activity and Memory usage? What is the performance of the laptop when several programs are running in the background or maybe using 10 or more browser tabs? Have you tried Chrome browser and if yes what were your impressions?

It's not a laptop, it's a tablet. It runs terrible compared to actual laptops like all tablets. It uses an Intel Atom Tablet Processor, it's not going to be able to run chrome with 10 tabs open smoothly.

Pretty much every serious takes uses up the processing power and you really won't be able to multitask with it. Few tabs in Chrome, and that's about it.
was really hoping for the keyboard layout to change with different languages, oh well

I have a windows version on the way and plan to install Memu on it (an android emulator for windows and maybe other OS's), so even if you can't install full android on it, the emulator should be close enough for a lot of uses.
No you can't. Even though it's the same processor, you have different BIOS on the machine for each. It isn't possible at the moment.

Hey! Great review as always! But I wanted to ask: As a 15 year old; music/singing/recording, reading & learning, art/designing/detailing, photo editing, gaming, and TH-cam passionate, which would be better for me: Android or Windows? Hope for your reply!
It depends on whether you want to use it as a pc or as an android tablet, which reduces its capabilities. If you want to play games and watch youtube videos on it you are better off with the android version. For everything else you would want to buy the windows 10 version. Plus windows will give you more updates than android.
Windows has more features more than a tablet, so you would have a more possiblity to do all those things
For me I currently have a Viliv n5 as my go everywhere pc in a sling pack that also goes everywhere with me. That's dying so I think this will replace it. I can use the paper feature to do character maps, mind maps, plan out story structure and then put the sheet in my journal and refer to the digital copy on the go. Certain things I think through better on paper, others better on digital. I found one for cheap so I'm going to try it but hopefully they keep updating the design and making it more functional because I love the idea

do you think that the fact that the PC memory is between 30-35 gb is a disadvantage??? becausa i had one 2 in 1 that had a storage capacity like the lenovo yoga book and some files required when I installed a program couldn't be installed because of the full storage

After i update the windows to the 10th ver, that pen button wouldn't work for me anymore!!! I can't switch to the tablet mode by touching it.. What's the problem??

Probably wouldn't run well at all if installed - simpler and better to run these programs on your home workstation and access them remotely as mentioned above.

Yes it will after all this version is running windows

Not for writing on the screen.
I have this for a few days and something is strange about it. I have charged it at 100% battery , I have watched a movie then I turned it off with the 93% battey level on it. Next day in the morning it doesnt start any more unless you put it on charging! Dont buy this 4 years old machine. No battery life for it any more!

You can change the language, but not the layout of the buttons.
How to install windows on android version lenovo yoga book
Not feasible easily - some folks have tried it, but weren't able to activate the keyboard - not to mention the risk of bricking your device. Much simpler and better solution: use the android remote desktop app (or the Teamviewer remote) and connect to your work or home windows PC. You could then even run Photoshop at workstation warp (speed).
