The jangle guitar buildup is amazing at the beginning. . Peters picking and plucking is awesome! .. basically folks the Monkees have been killing it for the last 4 years..!
While convinced it was my uncle, it, in fact, turned out to be the one and only Mike Nesmith. Which reminds me, I have a pair of eggplant-colored velvet pants that need to be returned before Christmas.
They've still got it. Go, Nez!
Man, Peter looks great here. I just saw Mike and Micky perform a week after Peter's passing. Such a loss to lose a second Monkee. 😔
One of my favorites off that album because of the rockin' banjo!!! Country rock at its best.
"Country rock at its best"
Absolutely. Nesmith and by default the Monkees deserve far more credit for the conception of said genre than Gram Parsons.

I was there that night. My dream finally came true. Seeing my favorite band of all time! Only thing missing was Davy.
Loved this song! X
I was there too with my partner-in-Monkees crime JOhn. We had a blast
where the good old day gone with the pop /rock and roll/heppy day drage boos / live free like a butterfly
I still want to see Peter Tork jump onstage with The Who for a shot at "Squeeze Box." :-)
It's always fun trying to look up Coco's dress during these shows.
nice video HandD love it!
