Here’s the problem: the wall is bad, but the only solution. There should not be classism in Perú but there is a strong gap. No one follows the law, specially the less educated. The wall prevents the metastasis of “invasions” from spreading (because that is what will happen: the poor man even said he has NO PROPERTY TITLE), and once they settle they are hard to make move, they do not understand and they do that to themselves. On the other hand, this is a product of centralism. Lima is the center of the universe, and the capital folks do not want to share the wealth with the outside cities. If Ayacucho or Huancavelica had big cities with booming economies….there would be no invasions in Peru, as the people who live illegally would stay in their lands and commute to work in their own states. Imagine how weak the US would be if it only had NYC and nothing else. Although other states in the US might be rural (like Wyoming, per say) they still have the infrastructure to support booming local economies. That is what peru lacks. Regardless, invasions are bad and it is a shame the wall must be put up to stop illegal construction and the appropriation of public lands…..
..."the less educated don't follow the law" ......you mean the last FIVE presidents??? ..or perhaps the 100's of congress people that have under investigation ....a nation need great gobernors to create great citizens...it doesnt really work the other way around. ;)
Typical. You look at a slum and you see a person of Amerindian descent. And you look at the rich resident across the wall, and you see a white person of European descent.
Afghan If you watch other clips you will understand why? Almost people living in poor side, they're migrant workers as farmers, low skills, low level of education. But I think the rich they have their reasons. They're rich, paying taxes and they want security. Poverty creates crime. There's an area called Westmount in Montreal, Canada where the richest live when you drive into this area you have to reduce the speed down to 30km/h. I tried once to see how slow that speed is and looked around if there's patrol police and yes there are. In the end, it's government to blame. The same thing in Philippines, government doesn't support agriculture and farmers after few bad harvests, indebted they have no choice but to move to city living on the street or under the bridges and begging to survive.
@@leandav2209 I was born into a slum like this in Mexico. Arrived in the US without Spanish or English. Spoke only my native language. I saw how the US became a world power. Now I despise that degenerative “Latino” culture. Interesting how the US is viewed by South Americans but in the end they don’t really see you for your color but by your wallet. If it’s one thing the US believes in its equality for all. Freedom and education of the highest standard open to all. Even those of us who aren’t supposed to be in the US. A token of what made Rome and Greece the greatest civilizations to ever exist.
Yep, land traffickers were expanding at full speed till the wall was build, scamming or getting those people to participate in the sham. Not to mention the criminality that comes in if it wasn't obvious.
I lived 2 years in Lima didn't have a wall around the house never been robbed and never felt unsafe and I am not even from there. Love the country love the place and if the rich wouldn't suck the blood out of the poor by treating them like dirt and paying miserable wages they wouldn't have this self created "greed based problem" que viva Peru

Very, very well put.
They could work to fix the economy, but I guess that’s too complicated

This look like something out of a dystopian future sci-fi movie like elysium
Yeah
This feel like something that would happen here in south africa for the same reasons
It’s a Wall of protection or a Safety wall.
EVNL576 si 👍🏼 entendió porque hay mucha violencia en Peru necesitan seguridad
Safety for who? The rich?
