I watched several videos prior to yours, some with corn starch, some using pans to transfer the chicken etc. I am one who likes to oil (and if necessary season) my meat prior to cooking. I do not like a pool of oil on the griddle. I'm not talented enough to manage it well. I also liked your use of the veggies. Good job.
The rain on the metal roof sounded awesome! We have a covered back deck too, I love cooking out there when it’s raining. It’s just peaceful. Great video!! Roll Tide!! 😎

I made this yesterday. My wife and I really enjoyed it. It does, however, make one great big sticky mess on the griddle. I think the next time I make it I will try to reduce the sauce on the stove, do everything else on the flat top, and mix the vegetables and chicken on the flat top, then add them to the reduced sauce in a big pan in the kitchen. It will be a lot easier to clean up.

Nice cook. Looks delicious. It's a nice deviation from Chinese orange chicken that is deep fried with sauce poured over it. Love the vegs added to the dish. If you are interested, use corn after adding seasonings to the chicken and then add oil. The cornstarch puts a little crisp on the chicken and keeps it moist. May absorb the sauce. Keep them vids a coming!

Although I do like my chicken sashimi, this looks great! I'd definitely add Grand Marnier for a special occasion, but triple sec would work too. Excellent as always!

Yeah...when doing items like this I like to cut the griddle in half...that way the clean up is less....also cleaning as you go helps the most...
Made this tonight, really outstanding dish. Mother in Law had never had orange chicken and she loved it . This is 5 Stars out of 5 stars !
