It’s crazy how vivid Rockstar made all of the stranger encounters. Literal scenarios of things that happen in real life, to real people every single day. I may have played this game at a young age, but it really taught me some shit my parents didn’t want to/never did.
games have a special place in many people’s hearts because sometimes they convey things people in the real world would not, its a special medium different from movies or TV shows

When you see this compared to the gta v side missions it makes me think how much darker and more realistic gta 4 felt in comparison and why i probably liked it better even though they are both great games.

***** I actually am playing the trilogy i'm currently in San Andreas and yeah the graphics weren't the best to be honest, it could of done better especially by 2004 but it also makes the universe feels the same. Its kind of weird how the new ones don't connect but do connect with the trilogy.

Your right,game was very real. Marnie deserved to be a teenager!dang it! She never should have been on the street. When niko takes to the station and sends her back home. That took me about 25 to 30 min because i drove 5mph and went so many different ways. I did not want to see her go. Wish niko could have just moved out to country with her family and started new life.

I know right? The first time I saw Marnie in that park I was cried my eyes out. Because there are people like that on the streets in real life, lurking, helpless. I even knew some but they OD'd. I loved them and I tried saving them but drugs got into them.

I remember when I did this mission, unfortunately this is as real as it can be.

***** In GTA V Marnie comes back as a follower of Kraff, basically a parody of Scientology. After you do many annoying tasks, ex: running in the desert 5 miles, wearing Epsilon robes for ten days, finding sports cars, etc. Then there is a point where you deliver a car, in a convoy, to a helicopter. If you blow up the helicopter, kill the security, and escape in the car, you get the money. All of this is in GTA V only, not in GTA IV. If you want to see a playthrough search up "GTA V Epsilon missions."

So I consider Niko the most humanized protagonist of the GTA, when I'm playing with CJ or Trevor, the tendency is to run people over, and spread the chaos. This simply does not match with Niko's personality.

Claude chooses to enter the criminal underworld to take revenge on Catalina
CJ chooses to enter the criminal underworld to join the Families.
Victor chooses to enter the criminal underworld to get revenge on Martinez
Toni chooses to enter the criminal underworld to get a higher rank in the mafia.
Johnny chooses to enter the criminal underworld to lead The Lost
Luis chooses to enter the criminal underworld to serve his boss Gay Tony
Michael chooses to enter the criminal underworld to get big payouts from robbing places
Trevor chooses to enter the criminal underworld because of his psychopathic nature
Franklin chooses to enter the criminal underworld because of his willingness to rise up in the life and earn big.
That's why Niko is my favourite protagonist. He's actually the most decent one personality-wise. He's the ultimate good guy out of all them.
Just a normal guy forced into the life.
You can tell Niko regrets being in the criminal life just by his dialogue and facial expressions.

I mean in certain senses she glowed up(definitely appearance wise in gta 5, she's so pretty 😭😭🖤) but I can tell she's definitely a nut who's easy to manipulate, I really hope in the next gta game(if it ever comes out) she has a redemption ark or something, I find her character to be really interesting and quite unique.

Even if Niko is considered a felon for everything he has done in the entire story, he is still considered a decent being. There are many cases where we can tell that he does not want to kill people, and that he is not like Michael or Trevor, who are thirsty for more. Niko in the other hand, is the only protagonist I have ever played as in a Gta game, to actually have firm strong feelings. To even non criminal organisation people.
Maybe I am wrong, but I think Nikos the only good and loyal protagonist in the Gta series. To not have the desire of having a big score as much as other protagonists in gta had.
Maybe CJ was wise like, maybe Franklin a wise guy. But, from what I have seen. No protagonist acts nearly as close as Niko at all.
Thats why I love Gta IV, its either about Depression, or bad luck. Such as Roman losing everything, or Michelle betraying Niko. Its not about murder and chaos and theft like other GTA games went for.
Micheal kept talking about wanting out but only Niko truly wanted out of the life.

Great idea to bring her back in V because I really like her. After she send Niko an e-mail that she is fine in the midwest I hoped that she could keep her life back to control. So I'm very sorry that she didn't make it at last. Maybe she is away from drugs, but being brainwashed in the hand of the Epsilon Program isn't really much better.
But this story is great, it makes sence. Girl with problems try to escape but only comes to another big problem.

For the first encounter I found her @ 1:25 AM and the second one @ 8:25 AM. For the second one I had to save and restart the game for her to appear
