I finally decided to make that video, because I want to show you some gameplay on the famous "unload-able" tracks of GT PSP.
On this game , there are 6 hidden tracks, but only the first 3 works on real hardware:
- Smokey Mountain North
- Tahiti Dirt Route 3
- Gymkhana
- Rome
- Hong Kong
- Complex String
There are also leftovers from other circuits like Route 11, George V Paris, Route 5 , but only map can be found, because tracks doesn't exists; other leftovers have only name like pikespeak_ps2 and grindevald_ps2 .
I tried a lot of time, and the only emulator which works for me is PPSSPP 0.9.9.1 , combined with Cheat Engine.

It's a shame that this good ol' PSP gem is a rushed Gran Turismo 4 port. They could have added the hidden tracks to the main game if they bought some time to make it better,
That's true, there are also some tracks only with map ( like Route 11, Route 5 and George V Paris ). That means that the whole game could be a GT4 port + some extra like tracks from GT3.
It was,it wa supposed to be a GT4 port,i think the prototype version is called the gt4 mobile version,but i cant imagine how are they gonna put all the stuff from GT4,i mean its a 5GB game and gt psp is only 1GB,soo it could be hard,soo thats why,but they could do something like MC3,but they choose not too,they probably planned for extra tracks from older GT titles

I think that Complex String with some culling work would actually make it a finished track. And it would be fun as hell.
I think that too , because there are a lot of track parts, but only on some angles is possible to see, like bad programming or something like that.
Complex String is already a track though, it's in Gt3

It’s a pity these tracks weren’t finished. I really wanted to give Complex String a shot. I wonder what GTPSP would’ve been like if it had had a proper GT mode. Without it, it’s like you’re stuck in arcade mode but you have to buy new cars instead of unlocking them.
Alex_the_Subarist I agree with you, I really like these hidden tracks, which makes GT Psp a special GT Title ( GT4 + GT3 tracks ) . You need also to consider the unloadable tracks , which have a map like route 5, route 11 and george V paris, that didn't make into the final game.

damn, Complex String looks creepy. Have you tried to load these tracks in PPSSPP 1.2.1 or 1.3?
for me only PPSSPP version I mentioned in video description works, but guess you can try other versions too :)

Kazunori tried to put most of the tracks that appeared in GT4 from PS2, and GT3, but if they did it, the game would not run correctly, or the game not load at some menu screens, in other words, the game was almost an MOBILE version of Gran Turismo 4

as you noticed on Complex String, they took everything from Gran Turismo 3, but the game run out of memory boot processor to load this course, because, you noticed that you still being hit by invisible walls (when you are off track), and losing grip on invisible grass/gravel surfaces! :3 I finally spot the point on this course

Would anyone be able to create something like a master mod for gt5 but on psp? From SSR11, SS5, Complex String, George V Paris?
have you tried fixing the loading triggers in Complex String? those seem to be causing the issue
LBPPlayer7 thanks for your comment, anyway i don't know how to do that , also I don't think that's the problem, it's the track itself
the loading triggers seem to me all kinds of messed up, causing the track to be loaded in and out in the wrong places, causing the track to be invisible or vanish just before you reach a part that is visible
mmm do you think there's something we can do to fix it ?
I'm not sure how GTPSP's loading triggers work, but with reverse engineering, sure!

man, pass the codes. I just miss Rome, Hong Kong, Complex String and Tahiti Dirt Route 3. please please :D

oh, thanks dude :) I'll be waiting for the tutorial ;D. this is amazing, tracks of GT3 and GT4 in GT PSP. The same happens in gran turismo 2 along with his demos, and in the other deliveries of the game. great video and great explanation in each of the circuit. I'm from Argentina, but it was not necessary to translate the English haha :)
hey, I want a tutorial too, I would love to try these tracks myself but I have no idea how to do that in PPSSPP and I have never used Cheat Engine
Cheat Engine doesn't work either for me, or at least not for loading tracks. There's another application that works, and as I said I'll do the tutorial soon.

can I use the cheat on android version of ppsspp
half the tracks work on ctw psp, why wont the other courses?
Dunno why, psp has some trouble with these three tracks.

can you make a video showing off the hidden cars such as aston martin, holden and even some audis
I want to but I don't know how to search for hidden vehicles, or even if hidden vehicles are in the game itselfs :(

there's the tutorial in the description of the video. these three works only on emulator.

Hi, I used PPSSPP emulator combined with a Cheat program ( you can use ArtMoney SE). I'll make a video to show how to do that :)

Yeah that's sad, cause on emulator it works perfectly.. I still didn't find any reason why it doesn't work on realhw
@@jonny_0093 psp was and is supposed to be a durable af console, if i were gonna make a remastered version in credit to Kazunori. i would add "extended maps and cars" updates.

I found a PSP console that makes these courses work as well, I used a PSP-1001 (don't know if it also works with other 100X models) but not on 200X/300X because, I am using mostly an PSP 3006, but of course, these doesn't work, but I consider myself lucky to make these work on a old model PSP :3

I'm sorry but my old pc is broken and on new one I'm unable to load those again,because the emulator crash everytime I try to change the tracks :(

Psp struggles to run those maps. Ps2 had better hardware.
That's not a problem about psp hardware. Those tracks were not optimized for the game, that's why they have some bugs here and there.
