    In this video I talk about how you can use reflections in your photography to create cool and unique wedding photographs.
    I show lots of examples of reflection photographs, as well as explaining how I took them, including behind the scenes videos. As well as mirrors I also talk about the other great ways to introduce reflections in to your work such as water, picture frames and glass table tops.

    Thanks Neil. what a good video. I had one problem all the time, where to focus that is on the mirror surface vs the reflection. I am not sure I am asking right question but I notice my focus is soft on those picture where I used reflection. Please help me with that.

    • @lensbaad6069

      I too have the same query.
      😀

    • @NeilRedfern
      @NeilRedfern  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you very much! It's a good question. Photos will never be quite as sharp when focusing in to a mirror at an angle because of the depth of the glass but I didn't found it to be such an issue that I couldn't "get away with it". Are they soft to the point that they can't be used? If so my advice would be to shoot at a narrower aperture to give yourself more depth of field

      @saeedahmad3748 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@NeilRedfern Thanks, It got this point but my question was where to focus that is on reflective surface or to you original subject?

    • @NeilRedfern
      @NeilRedfern  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@saeedahmad3748 Ahh, sorry! I always focus on whichever is the main focus of the image, which is usually the reflection for me

I see you on 7:00 to 7:23 using your hand to read exactly where the light is hitting.. I have seen other photographers done the same thing, but I can't understand how is that done.
