    So I was told with bull pups there is a “break in period” of I believe 200-300 high velocity rounds (anything 1300 fps and up) once the action loosens up a bit they will cycle anything you put in there.

      That's a lot of rounds. Not certain my shoulder could take 300 rounds of turkey loads. Gonna have to find something a little less painful. Thank you for the advice. I'll let you know how it works out.

    Thank you for the unboxing! I recently purchased one myself. I have not shot it yet but will as soon as some snow melts and I can get back to my property. I also have added a red dot sight which will also allow the open sights to be used in conjunction. As well I added a front angled grip and a 45 degree mount for a flash light. Thanks again for sharing your video.

    I have one of these and I love it. I dialed the gas back a little to soften the recoil and it helped a lot. I’ve put about 100 rounds through it, mostly buck shot but I have ran at least 10-15 bird shot through it and I can say she hasn’t had a hick up yet.

    It looks good. The compact Bull pup 12 Guage w/ slugs may be the most practical Bear Self defense . better than a 44 magnum or 10 mm. I would carry the Bull Pup around my Land and have a sidearm for back up. I would never want to count on a sidearm to Stop a brown Bear -- they would keep coming even if you hit them a couple time w/ a pistol.

  • @Timeshifter32

    Glad you used those nitro rounds. Gforce says you HAVE to break that model in with shells that are faster than 1300fps. Otherwise they have some jamming problems. I used Federal Power Shok 2 ³/⁴ and now i think i need shoulder surgery lol

    🤣 Is your head on straight Adam! You get him Phyllis!! I’ve heard of G Force. They make a nice looking line of guns. No wild turkeys in Alaska 😁 but that recoil on the turkey load was insane 😳 I’m looking to get a semi auto shotgun though! I wonder if your G Force will handle slugs? Maybe with a barrel swap? But the recoil on slugs?? Ouch!!

    • @alaskacutthecord769
      @alaskacutthecord769  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I came with a cylinder choke as well so a saboted slug should work fine. Just not rifled for the accuracy. Not sure if there are different barrel options. Mag options yes.

    • @alaskacutthecord769
      @alaskacutthecord769  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Really good. Once broken in I broke it down and cleaned really well. The key seems to be holding it really tight so that recoil isn't lost motion rearward.

  • @kevinmcglamery5759

    If you add a pistol grip on the front picattinny rail and practice with 1560fps smooth bore slugs you can learn to control the recoil away from the shoulder

    if you remove the fake silencer the upper assembly will come apart. Its for keeping the upper assembly attached.

    Uhhhhh... I think it's very good idea to dis assemble, oil/clean, then re assemble any gun before you fire it.
    What did you buy this gun for? I don't like it.

    • @alaskacutthecord769
      @alaskacutthecord769  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I appreciate your comment for sure. The reason that I bought it is directly related to the near moose attack that I had while on snow machine. Being a bull-pup design the over all length is much shorter and make the gun more compact for travel purposes.

    • @alaskacutthecord769
      @alaskacutthecord769  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Now that you mention it you are completely correct in the disassembly and cleaning first. Depending on where it is made they like to use products meant to keep it from rusting that may inhibit the working of the gun for sure.
