    I made these twice today. Delicious. The second time i made it, the pulp i had included beets, tomatoes and carrots, so after processing, the dough looked like ground beef, I thought it would be interesting to see if it would work to make patties and or taco "meat". Works great. Just need yo add taco seasoning and i have a ground beef replacement 😊

    I just want to thank you! I tried your recipe last night, easy and tasted great! I don't think I got them quite thin enough, so they were more like thin biscuits than crackers, but they tasted great anyway! I might get a rolling pin before trying again and maybe bake a little longer.
    I did have to add a fair amount of water. But I was using all kinds of pulp, kitchen-sink style! (Celery, fennel, lime, romaine, carrot, grapefruit, jicama, ginger, beet, kale, cucumber, carrot greens, cabbage, summer squash, apple, etc...)
    I didn't have a jalapeno handy, so I just added some cayenne pepper and a bit of black pepper.
    Anyway, I'll do this again!

    Hi Kathryn, I tried this recipe (a couple of modifications) and I'm so pleased with the results! Absolutely delicious!! I pre-cut them before baking using a pizza roller for uniformity. But how do I store them? I've placed them in a sealed glass jar with a few marshmallows to absorb moisture. I hesitate placing it in the fridge for fear of it losing its crispness. Is it safe to leave it in the pantry for a few days? Thank you.

    I jave a nama juicer... the pulp is to dry. Do you think I can add some water?

    • @kricketkitty
      @kricketkitty 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It may depend on how dry you mean. Probably better to add juicier things to the juice recipe : ) I have a nama too and my pulp is always moist, I include lots of apples or cucumbers, lemon. I think it also helps to blend up dry with moist ingredients in the hopper according to their instruction of order. Wheatgrass is an exception, just started juicing that in the nama and it does come out too dry to be edible, unless you're a beaver... I didn't even bother trying to save it because it would be like trying to chew bamboo. Maybe tree bark...ha ha...I've been looking for a easy quick simple way to use the pulp fresh, within a day, than pulling out the megalith 10 tray dehydrator, or sticking it in the freezer. This may fit the bill.

      @@kricketkittyI put the pulp back in my Nama and push it thru with a spatula and get another 4-6 ounces of juice! Then the pulp is dry enough for anything ☺️
