- Blegh. Csp kept lagging so much that I had to save it as is. The chibi Odysseus is just there because of that.
Heres a lil stuff about the design
Ive always loved the idea that gods have two main forms, a true form and one that looks just like a human.
Hera is my favorite one to draw, she actually has more peacock related stuff with her dress like something that resembles a peacocks tail and drags down to the floor that I didnt get to show. Ares is just meh, I had general Radahns hair in mind. And Hephaestus, I thought it'd be cool if he could shift his hands into specific tools he want, like bismuth rom SU.
Oh right! I plan to do either Polites song or Love in paradise next. My favorite characters are calypso and polites so you can expect me doing their songs haha.

I love how you can feel Zeus is a god not by glowing eyes or hair not by fancy clothing but by how how he becomes apart the environment showing how he is a major factor of the world itself and with him becoming so big only his head is shown showing we don't even know his full might

It'd make sense that he inherited a feminine frame, The Greeks hadn't done twins before, much less opposite gender twins. As the one to form first, it would be right that Artemis influenced how they viewed Apollo in some way
@@tetragaming6332 Interestingly, Apollo was able to beat Ares at wrestling, and he was able to match Heracles in strength when they had a tug-of-war over the tripod of Delphi, and had to be separated by Zeus.

@@Raphaeltheslayerit was because hephaestus pranked Hera and Zeus was like "haha nice" and told hephaestus he can have anything he wants and hephaestus asked to marry aphrodite.

Hera can’t be bothered to keep up with the ever changing trends of mortals. When last she paid attention to us bell bottoms and platform shoes where all the rage.
I love how Hephaestus was looking at Aphrodite and how her eyes were reflecting Ares. Was that detail on purpose? It really sums up the marriage and affair.
Aphrodite, the woman who can have anyone. Heaphaestus, the man no one would ever pick. It’s never outright stated what’s wrong with him but he’s stated to have a birth defect that made him ugly and crippled. Meaning he’s not active in the same way as everyone else and rather than being tough the man is an engineer. He made a giant sentient robot fueled by the blood of Gods (wonder where he got that), he made unbreakable chains so thin you can barely see them, made the most powerful Lightning Bolt Zeus ever owned and many more things. His skills earned him the right to be on Olympus but he’s not given any greater respect than that
I mean Apollon is the patron God for boys and his statues depict a more lean and youthful deity so finally, a person that gets it right!
The animation is even more epic than the musical itself 👀👀👀 Fine as gold
I am so excited to see Apollo, Hephestus, and Zeus’s lyrics when the time comes, it’s so fun to think about how it’ll come
I love Zeus being this primordial, shapeless mass of power, his hair and beard all flowing into one towering, inescapable cloud. And that shot of all the gods revealed as we zoomed past them/into their eyes? AMAZING.

One of my favorite parts about this is that it feels like Zeus is giving Athena a chance and that it will be a decision made by convincing all the gods, but in the end he does not actually care about the opinions of the other gods or wether Athena can sway them because in the end she has to convince him and his decision is the one with which the whole endeavour fails or suceeds
I mean the way he says it implies everyone. Like he won't even talk if she fails to convince any of them.
This was incredible, I love the vacant expression of Odysseus--showing how resigned he is to be there yet how his heart is somewhere else, longing to be home. I also love the lineart, how you play with different thicknesses. Since we saw Calypso in this one it would be cool if the next is Love in Paradise, but whatever comes next it's sure to be great!
The transitions are so good!! I absolutely love your designs for everyone! Ares especially, his eyes being really squiggly but still visible under the helmet is such a nice move to make.😩

I really love how you can FEEL the godly energy from each of the Olympians. They're so pretty 😭 your designs are absolutely amazing and they fit the characters so well. (also i feel like prettyboy apollo deserves a special mention because KSLSJLFAJDKF EYELASHES and i adore how you draw eyes)
Also, your lines are so smooth and dynamic, and so is the animation by the way. I can't imagine how much effort it would've taken to draw so many frames, and still convey perfectly the personalities and emotions in all of the characters. (i want to eat aphrodite's hair i hope you take that as a compliment)
Also, I loved the chibi cameo of Odysseus and Calypso! They're so cute heheh.

@@Kelaiah01 I don't know if you already know, but the song hasn't been finished yet and people have been working upon teaser clips with temporary voices as like a proof of concept. We've heard of Aphrodite and Ares' official voices, but I don't recall any teasers for Apollo and Hephaestus' official voices yet. Meanwhile, Hera's portion was one of those clips to help people auditioning. They wouldn't need to be an exact copy, but it's there to be an example of what's wanted. Hope that makes sense!

i might be a bit stupid for asking this by why was it those gods? I mean I kinda understand Ares and Aphrodite. I mean dude was in a lot of wars and won them with clever tactics and if battles were too bad he would retreat. Like with Scyilla (something the god of war might be a bit sore about) and His mother did die before seeing her son again. Basically dying with a broken heart which some depictions of Aphrodite characterize her as the god of every kind of love not just lust.
Ok I understand why the god of the sea wasn't on the list. He hates Odysseus. And Hades is usually else where when those kinds of things happen, likely he is too busy. What about the other gods?
Where was Hades during all this? Was he never allowed in on olympic meet ups?

I normally use either a plain g-pen from clip studio paint and or a random fade brush
