    QUICK SHIFTER FACTS:
    DO NOT quick-shift 1st-2nd, or 2nd-1st.
When upshifting, only quick-shift as you're accelerating at any RPM. Just be revving upwards and shifting is fine.
When downshifting, shift OFF the throttle and it will be nice and smooth.
    THAT'S IT! ENJOY!

Yes great facts! Many people think they need to let off the throttle to up shift. Stay on that puppy while shifting. And off when down shifting.
Thanks for the FACTS and the comment :)

I think you should get a plastic folder (the ones to hold documents with pockets, from an office store for a few $), probably black, and put one part on the bottom of your top-case, and the other part on the side with your handle. It'll block the backpack from snagging on the handle.

Glad you are enjoying the GS. I do understand some of the dislikes, but those have never been an issue for me. Expense and service we would disagree... I just did my 18000 mile sevice at a cost of 51 us dollars, it takes about a 1/2 hour. The other services are even cheaper... its mostly labor. The rear drive is not a recall. Its a service bulliten and your bike may not need it... they go through a few tests to see if you need the upgrade. I just did a video on my rear drive with over 17,000 miles and it was perfect.
As far as accessories... all adv bikes are pricey for accessories. Yeah the GS is a pricey bike... but you get what you pay for.
I like the small yt channels... keep up the good work.

      Yeah totally!
I would buy again and look, price is a part of the package and I’m ok with it. If I had my choice, I wish it was cheaper, but I’m ok to pay that price.
I’m all in and I couldn’t be happier with this bike. In my opinion it’s the best ADV bike ever made.
Reliable, fun, fast, comfortable, ride friendly modes….
And yes if you service yourself it’s easily a cheap bike to maintain. Im only taking it in to keep the warranty.
Good to hear the rear drive is holding up well for u. I’ll check out the video

Developed neck issues after 50 years of riding and had issues with wind until I did one thing. Slow down. Problem solved. This gs is by far the most refined and capable bike I’ve ever owned. I do agree with you on the pegs. They could be at least a half inch wider.

The bike is very easy to work on. As long as you keep records, diy does not void warranty (at least in the US). The work you were referring to is a Service Action 0033130000 not a recall- again at least in the US. I swapped out the foot pegs for more comfortable ones- not a huge expense. Also added risers, better horn, headlight guard, better seat.

Mine is due for 1st service next week. First thing (after lower crash bars) I added was wider ION foot pegs, the oem ones are atrocious and not fit for purpose. Yes, found the quickshifter to be very clunky at lower gears and revs. It has a very vibey throttle hand. Also had the engine cut out a few times when pulling away from the lights. It feels like like the shaft drive is grinding when gently leaning. Also the battery voltage drops to 11.8v when not on charge overnight, when using canbus charger, still only gets to 12.1v, all my other bikes sit around 12.7. I'll get them to check these under warranty, apart from that, it's one beautiful, comfortable bike to ride.

I love the wide handle bars sir. Wind is just making it feel real. Shifting: stay on throttle when shifting up. Off throttle when down and its perfect. Btw got the same bike, first service ongoing as I write this 👍😉

Of course. These are actually things I love also. But I wanted to make a video about every little thing I didn’t like about the bike. I had to get super petty about what I didn’t like because there’s really nothing to hate about this bike

      Correct about the shifting.

Why buy the bike in the first place, nothing you have said should be a surprise??? cost is subjective

I have a 22 GS adventure my only complaint on the bike is the damn horn is pathetic

Try riding another bike and then go back to your gs, I bet you will eliminate at least 5 items from this list. It's perfect for long trips. @motomoska

I ride different bikes constantly lol. I just wanted to force myself to make a video about things I hated. It was very hard to come up with this stuff and even after I did it’s really stuff I don’t care about or that’s very bad.
This is the best bike ever made

@@AmericanAbroad1 One thing I think is bad about this bike is that, here in Brazil, if you need parts you have to import them and it takes 45 days
