Peeling flesh playing songs with core bands. How many times do I have to say this, peeling flesh is a core band pretending to be slam. Soto came from a core background but pretends to be the "slam king"
I don’t know that he’s ever said that he’s the king of slam haha but, from a songwriting perspective they are definitely a mixture of slam and hardcore and some death metal. I think “Deathcore” nowadays js becoming an umbrella term to include bands like them though
