I’m a 12 year old seventh grader, sitting in the car watching videos on a school full of talent and determination. My goal is Juilliard, and it has been for a while now. Many of my friends think it’s pointless to study theatre and things of that nature, but it isn’t pointless to me. There is so much I want to do, so much I want to experience. Watching these videos has become my motivation to be the best I can without trying to compare myself too much. It’s impossible for me to imagine a future where the arts are not a part of my life... so I’ll keep working and hopefully, I’ll hit the stage someday.
Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your story! We are so proud of all of our students and look forward to seeing your application in a few years. We are all rooting for you!
I have never wanted to go somewhere so bad! I find it amazing how everyone is so talented. I am definitely going to apply here and take a chance! I doubt I'll get in but them even seeing my application is amazing.
Im 15, from Brazil I was confused on wich college or carreer i should apply, but Juilliard ignited the passion of music inside me even more and now i am considering following this path and on the next two years i will be dedicating all my time to pass (and have a scholarship because it is expensive for Brazil's standarts), thanks Juilliard!
Here's some great words of wisdom about applying to Juilliard from Kathleen Tesar, our associate dean for enrollment management: "You owe it to yourself to take that chance. We want you to take that chance." We encourage you to apply and come and show us your stuff! th-cam.com/video/fi0N3brAuV8/w-d-xo.html. Juilliard has been my dream school ever since I've been so interested in music I understand the costs and difficulties to get in but in about the 5 years I have left before I go to college I will work hard and earn my way there

I come here because of Putri Ariani. If Putri hadn't told us about Juilliard in AGT, I wouldn't have known what Juilliard is forever. Never heard before.

Omg, I started to cry when it was showing the tour! (apically when he showed that band portion) I am only in 6th grade going to 7th, and Juilliard is my top choice! I did a report on it, and I even said that it is the best arts program ever! I don't care if I am right or wrong, but in my opinion it's the best!
Thank you so much for watching! We are so proud of all of our students and faculty who help make the school what it is. We look forward to seeing your applications in a few years!
I started cello six months ago, i am the best player in my class, i have learned both the cello and violin pieces for our upcoming concert on the cello and am currently working towards also playing the violin. If i try really hard i might be able to get into Juliard, hope you see me on your campus soon!
I’m from Australia, and I’ve always wanted to become a professional opera singer. I’m in year 9 heading into the Victorian College of the Arts, and to get into Juilliard is my dream goal!!! But my mum said “the key is to WORK HARD” and if you’re passionate enough, your work pays you back!

I shall practice every day to have enough skill to go there, I'm not that bad right now but not good enough yet to be there, but I know I can do it! I will not give up, for this is my dream college.
I'd rather not state my age, but I'm young. My friend introduced me to this school, and I love it already!! Though I deal with stage fright, I love preforming and entertaining people! Hoping to get into this collage!

I’m a classical and jazz bass player at a performing arts high school, and I’ve never been more certain of anything; This is what I want to do with my life. I’ll pour my soul into it and hopefully it will be enough to get into Juilliard, but no matter what I love my instrument and I love making music!
I’m not even in high school yet I’m still in middle school and Juilliard is my dream! There is nothing more I’ve wanted then this. I can’t wait to apply in a few years. This school is an absolute dream. As of now I’m in 3 honors classes and take chorus and I’m going to a theatre summer camp soon also and I take piano classes and singing classes outside of school! I cannot wait to submit my application and audition! I know I’ll get in. See you soon, Juilliard.
I’m 12 years old and my dream is to become a guitarist. I remember talking about my future career with my friend and they brought up this college. Ever since then going to Juilliard has been one of my main goals.
I’ve heard about this school from so may people but I didn’t know it was this awesome! Going out of state may be costly, but I want to peruse my music and theatre career. So going here is on the top of my college list!
I'm planning on trying to get into Juilliard when I'm older. I'll be a musician there if I get in. I play lots of instruments and really want a successful career in music. I make my own music and can play by ear and read music. I'm not much now, but in 4 or 5 years, I hope to apply and become successful.
As an artist this is Dope. Wish I stayed near. I would watch all performances from acting to ballet and everything in between. Learning all I can and reincorporate that in my beats
Im an international student and ive got 3½ years before applications begin. Im going to try my utmost best to attend Juilliard and be a part of this incredible community
even though i'm only fourteen, i have wanted to go to juilliard for the longest time, and i can't wait until i have the opportunity to audition in four years! i know the chances are slim, but it's my dream and i intend on giving it my all ♡ i am a double bassist!!
Juilliard is famous now especially in Indonesia because being mentioned by Putri Ariani in AGT 2023 some days ago, and also being heard by almost 40million viewers on youtube who whatch Putri's performance.
Going into high school this year, Juilliard’s drama program is my dream. I’ve been doing theatre since I was 7 and it has brought me so much joy. When Covid hit, it was hard. No theatre, hardest year ever. Theatre makes me so happy, so I’m trying to get ideas flowing for applications in a few years. I look forward to applying :)
Even if you can't apply to the school yet, we hope that you can come visit us in New York and take a tour or attend one of our 700+ performances a year: www.juilliard.edu/calendar.
Juilliard has been my dream school and goal ever since I became interested in drama. I still have a few more years of high school to go, but I'm definitely going to apply for Juilliard when the time comes. I'm not sure if I can get in, but I'll work hard and see where I'd end up! Hope to see you soon, Juilliard!
Dear Juilliard, I'm a 22 year old college student who did theater all throughout my Elementary, Middle, and High School years. I even snagged a spot in my advance Theater program Junior through Senior year- I actually ended up with half my classes being theater ones my Senior year just because I love it so much. After I graduated though, I fell away from Theater and just sort of drifted through college because I had been told by people much older that Theater wasn't a "real job". It also didn't help that I really didn't have passion for anything else. Last semester however I took Theater for my Fine Arts credit and it relit my passion for Theater and after careful consideration I've decided that pursuing a career in Theater is what I'm meant to do with my life. I chosen to finish getting my Associates Degree in Business because I'm only a few classes away. After I complete that I'm going to dedicate an entire year brushing up on the skills that have gotten more than a little rusty. I plan on joining an improv group, auditioning for local performances, finding a voice coach, finding a dancing instructor, and retaking some theater courses at a community college. What are some other things I can do to prepare myself for an audition?
It's 2022 and right now I'm 12 and in 7th grade. When I was 7 years old I always wanted to be a singer, I still have that dream and I have chosen to go to Juilliard for my music career. I'm Mexican and want to sing in Spanish but I'm not going to let that affect my dream to go to Juilliard. I hope that Juilliard can help me have my dream to become a singer come true
@@amuyay2556 I forgot about this comment haha. I didn't apply. I'm not from the States and missed the application deadline, but I also ended up changing career paths
I’m 12 years old, I want to come here and do musical theatre someday. This looks so fun, I’m gonna work so hard now, this is getting me motivated. I hope I get here someday. :D
i am a sophomore in highschool from an incredibly small town in the south. we are incredibly lucky to have a theater class in our highschool and a small community theater company in our city. i am working as hard as I can to get into julliard. it is my dream to go here!!!
I'm watching these videos for a project, and I picked Juilliard, and before I wanted to just get the project over with, but now I actually REALLY WANT TO GO TO JUILLIARD
Thank you for watching! We're glad you enjoy the videos and we look forward to seeing your application. If you have questions about the admissions process, don't hesitate to contact our admissions team: www.juilliard.edu/admissions.
Juilliard… everyone’s dream. But only a selected few get in. That’s going to be me. I’m only a sophmore but I’ve got time to upgrade myself enough. I have the passion, dedication, talent, enough for it. I’m willing to do ANYTHING to get in THIS school. ❤
I'm only in 6th grade but my two dreams are visiting New York and being accepted into an arts school so if I were accepted I would cry! My out of the arts would be drama so i hope I can go there someday!
Thanks for watching! We would love to see you here at Juilliard. If you are ever in New York, be sure to sign up for one of our campus tours: apply.juilliard.edu/portal/campustour.
My dream school...yep...only but a DREAM...I toured this in 1997...after high school, passed the Auditions..but the snow almost killed me in New York. I’m a CALI boy,
I’m going to New York in a little under 2 years for my schools theatre trip and it’s all based on music and drama workshops and I’m really hoping I get to at least see the exterior of Juilliard!!! Ahh I’m beyond excited!😅
I describe this faculty as one of the most perfect teaching potential to get on top of a professional. An unlikely dream more than ever is enough to dream right. I wish all students a rewarding learning and give themselves every moment.sucess,Lucky and much thing good.😘😘😘😘
it’s been my dream to go here since i was 10. i’m 13 now and i attend a performing arts school and i practice music there. im planning on applying here in a couple years :)
I’m 15 right now and like for a couple months I just really wanted to get into this school for singing and drama because I want to end up on broadway one day that my biggest future career! You guy will see and application from me in about three to four years!
This is my dream school. I will get in. Acting is a passion of mine and I will do whatever it takes to be accepted. I’m applying on December guys. Wish me luck
I'm from Mexico, and I've already graduate from university, with a degree in Communication Sciences. There I found my singing teacher who is a Baritone, with his class at school I discovered a passion for singing and now that I can afford the private lessons my objective is to apply to Julliard
Thanks for watching! We look forward to receiving your application. You can learn more about a typical day for a saxophone player in Juilliard's jazz department here: th-cam.com/video/BXbstf8UMmU/w-d-xo.html.
Thank you for watching -- our admissions staff always says that you can't get accepted if you don't apply! We look forward to hearing more from you. And please email admissions@juilliard.edu if you have any questions about the process.
I’ve been teaching myself dance and can turn and all of that and I’m going to be going to ballet school soon. I love performing and improv and I’ve been interested in this school for a while. I know you need three years of dance but if I start now I’ll only have two since I’m in sophomore year already
I hope Juilliard students know how fortunate they are to study in such an environment and with such rich resources at their fingertips. Make the most of it! Tempus fugit.
Currently 13 and I started looking at collages because the next 6th years of my life will go by fast. This is my #1 pic for a collage and can’t wait to try out!! Drama has always been a big part of my life and is the only thing I’m proud of! Drama will always be my favorite thing in the world and I plan to pursue it!!
Thank you for watching! We look forward to receiving your application in a few years. You are right that time really does fly! If you have specific questions about the admissions process, you can email dramaadmissions@juilliard.edu or visit www.juilliard.edu/drama.
It’s my dream to go here one day. I’m 14, I play oboe, I’m an actor, and I can sing. Although I have to say that I’m stronger in the acting category. Getting into Juilliard would literally make me faint.
I'm barley in middle school but I'm already thinking about college 💀 I want to study here one day but I have no talent or money, I will try my best one day tho
im a 14 year old musician and vocalist. im in 9th grade and I am trying to exceed in my academic studies and also music... im trying everything to master all major and minor notes... I always wanted to be enrolled in julliards so im doing everything that i can do.. and im also preparing for the next 4 years to enter julliards... hopefully

Dear Juilliard, please accept Putri Ariani's (golden buzzer from AGT) application. It's her biggest dream and she had work very hard to be a musician since she was little. Thank you for reading my comment. Love from Jakarta ❤
don't be upset, guys. if you live in the usa/have any skill, you already have a chance to get in there!! it's much worse when you're a 16 years old girl from another country and realize your love of music very recently, so you don't even have time to prepare. but you have an opportunity then don't miss it❤
This is such an amazing and beautiful place. It’s the only college I would even consider attending. I know their acceptance rate is sooo small, but I really want to take a chance anyway! Definitely the drama division!
I came to this TH-cam channel because Putri Ariani's dream at AGT wanted to go to school here, it turns out that it is indeed for people who are classy and highly talented..wow amazing
TheJulliardSchool too bad I can't afford to go there! 😦 I'm a ameture musician that plays in a chamber orchestra every week! I love music so much that it's part of my life! 😊 I play clarinet and a little bit of piano. But I'm also looking into violin! I'm really good at singing though. The campus looks really nice to be honest! ☺ Beautiful view of New York! I only been to New York once in my lifetime! It is so crowded there!
It has been my dream to go to Juilliard for 3 years,I want to study acting, singing and dancing.I do choir, drama club in school, acting classes on Saturdays and dance class on Tuesdays. It’s my dream to study at Juilliard when I graduate,I’m now 13 only a few more years

Thank you so much for replying! Next time I'm there I'll be sure to check it out!!
@@katmacmillan did you apply?!
@@amuyay2556 I forgot about this comment haha. I didn't apply. I'm not from the States and missed the application deadline, but I also ended up changing career paths
@@katmacmillan that’s amazing! What career path as of right now?
I had the pleasure of visiting Juilliard with a tour group in March 2002.
I’ve wanted to go here since the fifth grade, and I’ve visited the school. I want to be a drama major and I’m so excited to see if I get there ❤️
so everyone else that watches axel also got recommended this?
POV: You watch Axel Webber
I want to graduate and attend this school
I’m 12 years old, I want to come here and do musical theatre someday. This looks so fun, I’m gonna work so hard now, this is getting me motivated. I hope I get here someday. :D
You will sweetie
sameee
I am a 7th grade violist dreaming of attending school here one day! This seems like such a nice place to be in!
i am a sophomore in highschool from an incredibly small town in the south. we are incredibly lucky to have a theater class in our highschool and a small community theater company in our city. i am working as hard as I can to get into julliard. it is my dream to go here!!!
best of luck! Wherever you go, I hope your future brings you happiness!
Omg Ik this was 3 years ago but I’m 13 rn and in the same position!
The best tour ever. Thank you
My dream school...yep...only but a DREAM...I toured this in 1997...after high school, passed the Auditions..but the snow almost killed me in New York.
Looks nice but do they have free coffee?
Wes XD you only care about the coffee
Unwanted i mean coffee is important
I love singing and dancing and Juilliard has always been my dream school, but I hope that they accept me 👉👈😔😭
I’m 15 right now and like for a couple months I just really wanted to get into this school for singing and drama because I want to end up on broadway one day that my biggest future career! You guy will see and application from me in about three to four years!
Thank you for watching!! We look forward to seeing your application.
Oh and also, I need advice for a good voice coach. Do you have any in mind?
This is my dream school. I will get in. Acting is a passion of mine and I will do whatever it takes to be accepted. I’m applying on December guys. Wish me luck
I'm from Mexico, and I've already graduate from university, with a degree in Communication Sciences. There I found my singing teacher who is a Baritone, with his class at school I discovered a passion for singing and now that I can afford the private lessons my objective is to apply to Julliard
I'm Year 8 and i'm in a school for music and i play the sax. Definitely gonna apply.
Thanks for watching! We look forward to receiving your application. You can learn more about a typical day for a saxophone player in Juilliard's jazz department here: th-cam.com/video/BXbstf8UMmU/w-d-xo.html.
I just started high school but ive had my eyes on Juilliard for years now and it's probably impossible but it's going to be worth a shot.
This channel comes to me, after Putri AGT saying about her dream to go to Juilliard school
I have been dreaming of come here, I play the trumpet and have been wanting to come for over 3 years hopefully I can get in when I’m old enough
I hope Juilliard students know how fortunate they are to study in such an environment and with such rich resources at their fingertips. Make the most of it! Tempus fugit.
I'm a violinist and I really wanna go there for college but it's so far from where I love
Really enjoyed watching this! Thank you!
I'm barley in middle school but I'm already thinking about college 💀 I want to study here one day but I have no talent or money, I will try my best one day tho
sameee!

It's never too late! :)
this ain't the kid in me talking... I've been taking dance all my life and I've always lovedd to go to Juilliard
Dear Juilliard, please accept Putri Ariani's (golden buzzer from AGT) application. It's her biggest dream and she had work very hard to be a musician since she was little. Thank you for reading my comment. Love from Jakarta ❤
2:18 I had to replay that several times
don't be upset, guys. if you live in the usa/have any skill, you already have a chance to get in there!! it's much worse when you're a 16 years old girl from another country and realize your love of music very recently, so you don't even have time to prepare.
but you have an opportunity
then don't miss it❤
Lol I just got slapped in the face
@@Moonlight-tr7jv fawk i didn't mean to-
@@stardust3944 It's fine >-
i never know about Julliard music school 😁 until Putri Ariani say this in AGT 😁 and yes this is amazing 🤩
This is such an amazing and beautiful place. It’s the only college I would even consider attending. I know their acceptance rate is sooo small, but I really want to take a chance anyway! Definitely the drama division!
Excellent presentation!!
I’m literally still in middle school and I’m already thinking about colleges, is that bad? (I want to major in drama)
me too 😊
Study everything you can so you can make this dream come true, I'll be worth it
I’d recommend majoring in something else
@@peytonbutler1022 why?
@@peytonbutler1022 oh yes that was 2 years ago, I don’t even do theatre anymore lol
I came to this TH-cam channel because Putri Ariani's dream at AGT wanted to go to school here, it turns out that it is indeed for people who are classy and highly talented..wow amazing
Can't wait for Putri Ariani study here 👈🎤🎤🎤👍
TheJulliardSchool too bad I can't afford to go there!
