So true! The fact that an outdoor acoustic solo performance sounds so much better in quality than the AI (heavily) produced shows that they haven't really gotten the kind of production that actually makes sense for him as an artist.
This guy is the most talented singer / songwriter in the history of the show, and every other talent show for that matter. He really deserves a minute of our time. If you love his music and want to support Alejandro, you need to take a minute on Sunday and VOTE. Don’t assume he is safe.
J also they are in Pamona, very weird city in SoCal. It would have been different if he was in a different hometown. Cities in SoCal are just overpopulated clusters and no one cares about each other
UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Alejandro not only performed a new song in addition to all of his originals, Alejandro has the largest crowds of the two contestants at the parade and concert!! One guy and probably more , flew all the way from Washington, DC and Alejandro gave him a shout-out!! Alejandro is so gracious and humble. Pure class!!

He seems so happy...which makes me happy. Seeing how much more open, confident, and joyful he is since the beginning of the show is so great. He is wildly talented and the fact that he is getting this break is exactly what this show should be about.
His voice sounds so strong and clear here. He just keeps getting better! (And I think he is just so much more comfortable in these acoustic settings) And the way his face lights up when the crowd cheers, he's so precious.

It’s amazing to see how American Idol has changed Alejandro’s life forever! They aired an old clip of him playing guitar and singing like this on a street corner, nobody knew who he was. Now everyone knows him! Whether he wins or not, he’s got such a bright future ahead of him in the music industry! A record label executive will be knocking on his door very soon!
Honestly I dont want him to win. The contract sucks. You cant put out a CD for years if you win. Name one winner you still listen to today who won AI that isn't Kelly Clarkson.

@@haden1575 I tried out in 2003 and 2009. I'm too old for it now. The contract has a stipulation that if you make the top 10 you can not try put for another show within 6 months to a year. If you win you can not make a CD on another label in x amount of years. Look how long Kelly has been around. Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, carrie Underwood, and other people who never made it on the show have made it big without winning.
@Sios carrie may be famous in the country side but Kelly will always be #1. Kelly just did a movie soundtrack and is on Smule Sing in which users can join her for duets. Carrie doesn't do that. As for other winners and runner ups. It's been years since Carrie won. Do you know any other winners who are currently touring and putting out CDs.

Alejandro a true artist/musician performing his own songs and changing the face of Karaoke Reality Music Shows: Refreshing/Genius: Admits to getting his start as a self-taught musician by tuning into Classical greats: I think some of these musical proteges and greats are shining their light upon Alejandro who effortlessly combines classical, jazz, pop, rock, etc. melding it all into one. This is what it means to be an Artist/Creative Talent vs. just being a great vocalist: He's a musician's musician and that's so great to see on a show like Idol. I haven't watched Idol in years because I thought many of these flash in the pan shows like Idol, like the Voice were a dime a dozen. Alejandro is changing that perception for the better! Thank God!

But he already just shines without the gloss. I know it is good for him as a platform but hope he can see through that farce they try to create. We love his raw talent. I am jumping with excitement because I have so much to say after watching Alejandro in his hometown playing his own songs and blowing our minds. As I am on Facebook so far I have not seeing any clips from the other two Idols who went home to be celebrated before the final show. So what does that say!!! This young man has to be on cloud nine as he sings his original songs and his fans are singing right along with him. I can't imagine how that must have felt. Now back to the other two Idols I am sure that they are being celebrated in a grand way but if they have a mini concert like our Homie I can guarantee you that they are singing other people songs and being backed up by a band. Don't get me wrong they are talented as well as many other people around the world. The ultimate word here is World. They are not on the same level as Alejandro is at the same time in his Journey. Because of American Idol he is world known. As I read the many postings on Facebook under his performance that is one thing I see.
