I had the E-06 code on a brand new 2 Kw unit. Tried to fire it up and nada. Looked at your comments about the fan and sure enough it was contacting the plastic motherboard. Pulled it sideways a couple mm and works fine now :) Cheers from Vancouver!
G'day Dean. I have ordered another control panel unit because my display was not lighting up some of the numbers and letters fully. Now I have E06 but wont mess with it until I have the new controller. I experienced again today that the unit switched itself on AUTOMATICALLY again. This is now the 3rd time. Last year this happend 2x in Townsville with the air temperature at 27C. Certainly no need for the unit to be on. This could be a real problem as I don't know whether the max temp would hold it (35C I think). So I have pulled the fuse for the moment. When I contacted the ebay seller last year he basicall said bugger off and did not offer any service or concern (unlike yours)., eventhough at that stage the unit was only just over 12 months old but had run maybe 40 hours in total and 1/2 of that was just running it to burn off the new exhaust lagging smell. Not a happy camper. Cheers.
brand new, started for the first time and the magnets hit something, i pulled the fan around 1 mm back and problem was solved...... although there was and "quality pass" sticker on it,........the first one was 3 years old and heat a big caravan (12 meter on 4 meter ) the whole winter (almost when i'm home 24/7 day and night) mainenance the litle mesh steal filter twice a year and with the special tool for this mesh filter to pull out i try as much as possible to clean out the carbon deep insite the mech of the heater itself (gave e few times e08 code and didn't start and gave white smoke) , so for +- 120 euro 3 years working 24/7 from oktober til mart/april (it depends of temperature) its a very cheap heater,.....with a can of 30 liters red diesel (0.80 euro cents/liter) i do almost 6/7 days , when themperature is above 0 degrees, when it freeze its around 5/6 days..... replaced the pump after 1 year whit a "silence" one ond it still work, so this pump is going into its thirt year,......the pump wich is standard included in the package is very low quality, so bought a more "expencive" one (+-30 euro) with green plastic and this one is better (in my case)
My brand new one, started it up today for the first time, blowing cold air for a few minutes then stops, leaving a E 6 error message. I'm using a motorbike battery, could this be my issue?
Changed control panel works fine now put old control panel on and works as well but full display wasn’t showing full num letters etc so use remote now will order new control unit as well
E 6 Fan was spinning fine ordered complete unit $146 Canadian preparing for the worst ...less than 24 hrs went straight for the panel replacement and fixed, now prepared for next emergency with spare unit, unless is the panel 😮
Hi I'm getting the same e06 fault code. I'm totally lost with this as it's not allowing the pump to prime for the 1st time. Guy I bought it from on ebay is now ignoring me.
One month later and again I have E6 error code, after changing the controller. Everything was fine, but after changing the battery, starting giving fault again. Fan was wondering fine. Now doesn't with both control unit. Maybe I will swap with other whole heater. But why always in coldest day ever

Did this stop the pump from priming? I'm getting the same problem here. E06 error code. But uts not allowing the pump to prime.

I had another one on another boat that kept switching it's self on in summer, it turned out to be the internal thermostat, easy fix,
Thanks Dean that might be my problem.
