My E-06 issue turned out to be a fuel issue. The heater would switch on and run properly for about 5 mins or more then display E-06 and shut down. I pulled it apart and checked the fan was free and the sensor was spaced correctly and that was all fine. So after reading somewhere that the issue may be fuel related I checked the fuel pump and filter and noticed that the fuel filter was lower on the intake than the output side (angled downwards) and the line was lower on that side for a 6 inches or so. I cable tied it up so the line was now pretty much horizontal and its been working perfectly ever since. It apparently doesnt take much for these impulse pumps to not work and the agitation of the diesel can create air bubbles in the fuel line. Anyway what ever the issue is its now fixed (its been giving me grief for a while). So its worth checking this if this video doesn't resolve the problem. Cheers
Just fixed my error, I spent ages trying to fault find another unrelated issue with voltage - after I fixed the voltage issue I was getting E06 error as the circuit board was outside the unit whilst I was testing the unit. Didn't realise the circuit board had to be secured inside as the magnet helps regulate the fan speed. Cheers!

Just to verify, you pulled the fan(with the screwdrivers) “away” from the sensor to create more gap between the magnets and that sensor? Was it scraping? Thank you.
I got that code. but the fan moves freely. When it first "starts up".. The fan doesn't move at all. it just throws the code without moving. fan can spin by hand. When that happens, the screen does show that it is spinning. Ideas?
I had an E-6 Error. The fan had moved too far AWAY from the control box which has a sensor to detect the magnets in the back of the fan so it knows how fast it is spinning. I got a socket and tapped the fan in looking at the intake end so it moved towards the control box. Needs to be about 1mm but not touching or rubbing. That fixed the problem, let me know if it helps anyone. Very simple Fix.
Thanks for your suggestions however, my E-06 isn’t scraping when I spin it with my hand. I tried to get it going by spinning it after depressing the On button and it almost kept going. But just ended up dieing again! 😢. BTW, when I spin it by hand AFTER depressing the On button, then and only then do I hear a little tiny bit of scraping. And I’m about to purchase another motherboard cuz I read (somewhere) that helped someone.

Just went through the nightmare that is installing one of these. The wire crimps at the main connector were just falling right out. I ended up having to cut the connectors out and butt connect them all. I did do a test run but after installing it no longer ran and gave this E06. it could be because once you get the error, the unit is shutting down before its shutdown cycle that usually takes about 2-3 minutes, For example are you getting huge clouds of smoke coming out of the exhaust after the error ? If you already know you have no issues with the fan, is the lid on the unit and the intake and outtake are clear of any back pressure and same with under the unit no back pressure on the intake and exhaust? . also are you making it to the high setting full fan before you get the error ? try to set it to high .

wonder if its just wiring / bad connectors or the fuel pump is just bad. Also your running this off a car battery ect..?
also have you tried the prime setting to see what it does with the pump? It wont try to start but it will run the pump for about 4 mins or so

Also, I'm unable to find the password section,, 0000 (with a small m in the upper right corner) is the closest to the -4- dashes of the Admin section that I can find.
I can't check my high pump & blower speeds nor can I check my low pump speeds & blower settings
rtE, To pair the remote,
PF setting is related to the amount of power going to the glow plug.
TO PRIME THE PUMP:
-Press the 'OK' button, & the Down arrow button at the same time,
& HOLD,,, to get the -P- prime function
after holding, the screen will change to '300'
if you continue to hold both buttons, dose pump will start & count down from '300'
To stop pump, press the 'down' arrow button
-Press the upper right 'Up' button, to start prime
-Press the lower right 'Down' button, to stop prime
I have replaced the doser pump three times because of the E-06 errors (unit will work only from the temp section, not the -10- pump section)
It runs for 32 minutes, flashes oFF, followed by the E-06 error.
I can still get the doser to prime but not run in normal start
If I let it set overnight with the power off, unit will run the next day for about 20 to 30 minutes then repeats the error
I have a new ECU & Controller ordered, so I'll try that soon
@@ModItBetter Yes, it will prime from 300 & down.
Unit will turn on, glow plug starts, unit roars then purges, followed by E-06
Just unboxed mine it mine has the e06 code but wont even start
did you try to spin the fan? if it is stuck using a screwdriver ect to pry it forward a tad is a quick way to see if it will then work.
also did fuel actually make it to the unit?.. you need to access the prime setting or just keep trying couple of times until the fuel has reached it.
I just had to switch the controller from 24v to 12v. I dont know why it switched to 24v out of nowhere but it took me a week and a complete disasembly and trying of new spare parts to find that out. Hope it helps someone :)
That must of been annoying to figure out, .. Thank you for taking time to leave your fix.. That will be one of my first checks now as well..
😊
I get this error and an intense burnt diesel smell.
it could be because once you get the error, the unit is shutting down before its shutdown cycle that usually takes about 2-3 minutes, For example are you getting huge clouds of smoke coming out of the exhaust after the error ? If you already know you have no issues with the fan, is the lid on the unit and the intake and outtake are clear of any back pressure and same with under the unit no back pressure on the intake and exhaust? .
also are you making it to the high setting full fan before you get the error ? try to set it to high .
I also have a pinned comment from timterry8714 that explains it was the angle of his filter and pump. causing him the grief .too many air bubbles ect.
My issue is the fan won’t even turn on. So this is false information for me
