Peter, I would love to attend your class and participate in discussions. I would like to point out a couple of things that I think you should think about… 1. In the story of genesis chapter 3, you seem to have fallen into the same trap that Eve did. You believe in the serpent instead of in an all knowing God. God created Eve in His image. She was perfect, but the serpent made her question that, he led her to believe she was lacking knowledge of good and evil. That’s what He still does! The serpent is the problem and the character that you’ve forgotten to evaluate in your series. When you start thinking about the serpent you realize God has an enemy, and we have been placed in the middle of the battlefield. There are times when for the sake of goodness God has intervened in order to prevent Evil from destroying the whole world or His chosen people. Peter, if you start considering Satan/Devil/Demons in these stories then you will also have a better understanding of who God is and how these stories can be interpreted in a different context- that of the battle of good vs evil. Just consider where humans may be a part of the problem and the solution…
Basically, the adversary has been trying from the beginning to get humans and all other celestial beings to question God and His perfection, His goodness. And unfortunately he has succeeded many times. ☹️
Do you think the God of Genesis, regretted killing all humans? Or that everything suffered, and died with us? We are the only creature, that goes against our own good.
There not gods. There aliens/ET’s/sentient beings made by God/Ein Sof/It, in this great big universe. So no their not all powerful, albeit more advanced than we. We, humans can be great, we will come into a time Olam Habah when we will see from “easy to west”. Age of Pisces is almost over, thank God for him though. Mankind needed that during His 2000 year tenure..but that’s another story lol
