This question need to be asked: Even if u start feeling as atheist then why u came upfront, why not continued like many Muslims who don't pray, don't fast and do not follow the Islam as described and living a independent life, but they did not left islam. Seems like he wasn't aware of thee Islamic teachings and philosophy while growing up, wasn't practicing them as an adult for a very long time. Didn't have any curiosity in understanding the religion. And one day he got triggered by Ayaz and Mishal Khan situation, interpreting it all as something inherently wrong with Islam. So, as he says, within a week's span he decided he was an atheist. I mean, didn't take much of a work to decide that. And from then onwards, whatever he pursued or studied about Islam was guided by a bias. That's a fatal cognitive fallacy. Leaving your faith or embracing is hard work. To study Quran alone, the right teachers ask you to read atleast THREE different exegesis of Quran from different geographical regions and with a gap of at least 300 years between authors, so that one could develop a philosophy. It requires patience to study Quran on your own, to take your journey and decide if you'd be abandoning faith or not. I feel sorry for this guy's intellectual lazyness.

I studied in a missionary school. With regards to fear of hell, we were told as kids that two assistants of the devil would strip you, hold you upside down after stripping you, tear you apart, fry you and eat your pakoras. That was terrifying. My hair stands on end whenever i remember it.

I think he got confused because he found a better life in Australia than Pakistan and also because of the behavior of people This life is only a test Every person is accountable for his deeds for which he will be rewarded or punished in the hereafter in this world some people are born with all the luxuries of life some people struggle for basic needs irrespective of the effort he did or whether he is a good person or not but one day every one has to die if there is no religion what is the standard of right or wrong If this World is all what it is the fear of people not to do sins and the reward for good deeds a person can only do effort even the result is in the control of Allah Almighty He should read the Quran the Seerah of the prophet Sallahualaihiwassalum and Seerah of top 10 Sahaba.

Thanks for this interview. It helped me understand what goes in the mind of some people. Unfortunately, the concept of God that Harris was brought up with is a punishing God. And I wont blame him, this is how Islam in Pakistan in taught. The concept of God from the Quran and from our lives is all loving and forgiving God. I wish he first understands God from the Quran. @@Nic-om7en If you look at God from the lens of a human being then definitely He is not. He is God, not a mother. If God is all-loving, who will punish the criminals who have committed injustices towards God and His creation? He is God because no one attribute of Him influences the other. It is humans who can be loving but then unfair or maybe fair but not merciful. If people like Harris make fun of Him all the time and He still does not punish Him and continue to provide for him all the blessings of this world, then what more love and mercy do you expect from Him? However, the situation in the Hereafter will be very different. Justice is the byproduct of Mercy. In that world, Justice will be served according to our acts in this world and God promised that He will not commit injustice even to the weight of a mustard seed (as per the Quran). A person who will be punished will accept that he/she should be punished for what he/she has committed in this world.

Atheism is standing on very flawed arguments. Especially when it has been established that Universe is very very organized and synchronised and even then atheists are in confusion. Finally keeping all the arguments on One Side and assume Islam as the sole Representative of God/ Allah, Consider 02 Probabilities:- 1.... The Creator Allah Exists 2..... The Creator Allah doesn't Exist Believer of Probability #1:- * Spends or try to spend life as per Code mentioned in Quran e.g. Practicing Muslim and Serves Humanity( as ordered by Quran). Believer of Probability #2:- * Spends or try to spend life as a true atheist Now After Death:- If believer of Probability #1 finds No Allah/God, then he will not be in Loss & Both, Believer and Atheist will not be the Losers. But if After Death, both find God/Allah is there and Questions how you both spent life? Then Believer of Allah will not be a Loser again. But Atheist will be in Great Great Trouble. Conclusion:- This simple mathematics of Probability Proves that in both probabilities True Believer will never be in Loss whether Allah Exists or Not.

Seems like he wasn't aware of thee Islamic teachings and philosophy while growing up, wasn't practicing them as an adult for a very long time. Didn't have any curiosity in understanding the religion. And one day he got triggered by Ayaz and Mishal Khan situation, interpreting it all as something inherently wrong with Islam. So, as he says, within a week's span he decided he was an atheist. I mean, didn't take much of a work to decide that. And from then onwards, whatever he pursued or studied about Islam was guided by a bias. That's a fatal cognitive fallacy. Leaving your faith or embracing is hard work. To study Quran alone, the right teachers ask you to read atleast THREE different exegesis of Quran from different geographical regions and with a gap of at least 300 years between authors, so that one could develop a philosophy. It requires patience to study Quran on your own, to take your journey and decide if you'd be abandoning faith or not. I feel sorry for this guy's intellectual lazyness.

Thanks for this interview. It helped me understand what goes in the mind of some people. Unfortunately, the concept of God that Harris was brought up with is a punishing God. And I wont blame him, this is how Islam in Pakistan in taught. The concept of God from the Quran and from our lives is all loving and forgiving God. I wish he first understands God from the Quran. God in Islam is not all loving though. Even many Muslims agree on this

If God is all-loving, who will punish the criminals who have committed injustices towards God and His creation? He is God because no one attribute of Him influences the other. It is humans who can be loving but then unfair or maybe fair but not merciful. If people like Harris make fun of Him all the time and He still does not punish Him and continue to provide for him all the blessings of this world, then what more love and mercy do you expect from Him? However, the situation in the Hereafter will be very different. Justice is the byproduct of Mercy. There r many muslims scholars to whom harris cud not answer in many counters☝🏼. Coming to this Video: he is telling he saw ppl smiling, neat roads, politeness etc in Australia..... this I hv seen in UAE(all muslims), Qatar, Quwait KSA etc.. Arabs use to stop their car and allow you to go first with smile if u r crossing road, police first wish you (Salam alaiku) and they speak you with smile, no one throw cigarette trash etc on road, whole night jewellery shops keep open (under glass doors) n no one dares to steal, what do u think of Muslims.... he born n brought up in country like Pak ( or India) where there is no law n Order ever maintained, dirt. I do read the Micheal J Behe's book "The Black Box of Darwin" I really Impressed by his main argument regarding Evolution the evolution or Creation. it help me to become Muslim. evolution is not totally proven that's true. tho I never bashed you on your videos. but I'm against the Term "Ex-Muslim" Cuz it was used by Indian hindus as well. any way, I'm still learner and till now after my research I prefer Islam as I just Joined Islam almost 2 years before. let's see what I found

Atheism is standing on very flawed arguments. Especially when it has been established that Universe is very very organized and synchronised and even then atheists are in confusion.
Finally keeping all the arguments on One Side and assume Islam as the sole Representative of God/ Allah,
Consider 02 Probabilities:-
1.... The Creator Allah Exists
2..... The Creator Allah doesn't Exist
Believer of Probability #1:-
* Spends or try to spend life as per Code mentioned in Quran e.g. Practicing Muslim and Serves Humanity( as ordered by Quran).
Believer of Probability #2:-
* Spends or try to spend life as a true atheist
Now
After Death:-
If believer of Probability #1 finds No Allah/God, then he will not be in Loss & Both, Believer and Atheist will not be the Losers.
But if
After Death, both find God/Allah is there and Questions how you both spent life?
Then Believer of Allah will not be a Loser again. But Atheist will be in Great Great Trouble.
Conclusion:- This simple mathematics of Probability Proves that in both probabilities
True Believer will never be in Loss whether Allah Exists or Not.
