The guitar parts deconstructed without Zach's drums sound so confusing, it's honestly kind of crazy... proof that Spencer and Zach are just super fucking tight, it's honestly something to envy This convinced me to properly listen to them after putting em off for a while... genuinely great stuff, fam!
Ive found it helps more to play the lead verse part by thumping the open string with your index and using your middle and ring to play the tapped 12th fret parts
Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for this. Hella are one of my favourite bands and I never imagined I’d be able to play any of their music, but I’m working my way through this and it’s sounding okay! I’d never tried tapping before, but having a blast. It’s really made me excited about playing guitar again - so thank you!
This is awesome. Thanks for the video. It is a testament to how music is occasionally more surmountable than it may seem on the outset. It’s all steps.

Aye idk if this helps but start at 120 bpm and slowing it down can really make it easier to deconstruct
My thoughts exactly. Just that first part without the drums sounds so different - it's like Zach's drumming adds melodic layers over the guitar riffs
now that i hear the first riffs slowly with that guitar tone it's so peaceful and pretty
tysm for this i was so intimidated by this song but now i think i can slowly start learning it

Dooood!!! TYSM!!! Now I have to convince my drummer to learn Zach’s drum parts 😅
my forearm hurts, thanks
