I do that too but honestly I never used them so basically just farm. Few technology points the only one I used so far is the bottom right one when I found out where to pick flowers
Instead of using Tanzees for logging, your Eikthyrdeer actually has Lumber 2. Get an extra one and just have it constantly harvest wood for you passively in the background. It'll never get distracted with other things because all it can do is lumber. In my experience, you'll never need to upgrade to a lumber 3 much less 4 Pal in the entire game because this one deer on this one tree farm is more than sufficient to produce enough wood for the rest of the entire game. Many guides suggest a Caprity for planting because it has Planting 2, but I actually strongly advise *against* it because it *also* has Ranching and will hang out in the ranch with your industrious foxes and produce a small number of berries instead of doing its job planting them. I would instead suggest a Cinnemoth for a Planting 2 Pal, because it doesn't do anything else (well, Medicine 1, but that rarely comes up) so can be dedicated to planting and is also available relatively early around level 15. Dinossom also has Planting 2, but it also has Lumber 2 and you don't want it hanging around with your deer when there is planting to do, but is also a relatively easy catch in a relatively newbie-friendly area. Once you get up to the point where you are breeding Pals, either Rushroar + Nightwing or Direhowl + Cinnemoth will net you a Petallia which is an amazing all-round worker to replace your Tanzee with Planting 3, Gathering 2, and Transporting 1. For Kindling, both to smelt your ores and to cook your food, you can get a lucky Arsox with Kindling 2 from a random Scorching egg, but if you have breeding unlocked, then Eikthyrdeer + Cinnemoth = Blazehowl which has Kindling 3 (plus can be used to crossbreed a Vanwyrm if you don't want to catch one yourself). Daedream + Mozzarina = Beegarde to make the honey for the cakes you'll need for all the breeding. Because those things are a royal pain to capture with their tendency to go boom.
On beegarde, there's a fairly easy way to get them without breeding or capturing, which is perfect for your first set. All along the coast from the Katress boss fight to the Warsect one are wild eggs, as well as on that larger island in general that all are more likely to be verdant. Their spawn locations are set, and respawn after a day or two. Normal sized verdant eggs can hatch into beegardes, allowing you to nab them for ranching very early on. Conceivably as low as level 7 as long as you're careful around hostile pals, though a nitewing at level 15 makes the process faster and safer.
@@emeraldguy10 While you're not wrong, Verdant Eggs have the largest pool of possible results, and the odds of getting a Beegarde are small. More likely, you'll end up with another Tanzee, Lifmunk, Gumoss, or Caprity. There is a chance of a Cinnamoth or a Bristla out of the Verdant eggs as well, so it's not a total waste. But it will likely take a LOT of verdant eggs before you get a Beegarde, while the breeding between the Mozzarina which you'll already want for milk production and Daedream which is one of the easiest captures at night is pretty trivial, will guarantee yourself one.
@@ShneekeyTheLost Verdant eggs may have the largest pool of possible pals, but that's still only as small as 1/8, assuming all pals are equally likely. Yes, to beat the odds and get a few beegarde will take a lot of eggs, but that entire region is absolutely littered with them. I regularly run through as an early game goal myself and get as many as twenty eggs per run of the route if I hit every spot along the way. Within around two runs, I always end up with 3-4 beegarde. You also have the potential for large verdant eggs, which offer rather useful finds in mossanda and robinquill as improved jack-of-all-trades pals for an early game base. Again, the point is really to be a very early game method to get just a couple to stick in ranches before you've even gotten proper cake production underway. Before you even have the levels and weapons to bring down wild beegarde and elizebee in the first place. The large pool of potential pals and that you can collect so many eggs in relatively straightforward route also offers some nice character xp on the side, making your journey up to level 19 to even unlock breeding take that many fewer pal spheres. This is after all the early section of the game when pal spheres are at their most limited supply. It's much more of a whole picture thing than just beegarde access.
Tanzee don't get depressed as fast and Eikthyrdeer, unless it is only down no more than 10 points of sanity/morale/work ethic, will take far more breaks which hamper your production because they take FOUR TIMES AS LONG to recover from "Bad work conditions" and the worst bit, unless you have the highest grade hot spring the Eikthyrdeer will ignore the hotspring 9/10 times, and even then take at least double the recovery time...
I’m actually glad you made this. I’ve had the game installed for a couple weeks but haven’t jumped in because I wasn’t looking forward to starting from scratch with zero clue on what to do, strategically, so now I’m pretty stoked to jump into it.
The very first thing I've always done, ever since the first time I played, is to run back down to the beach where you washed up on shore. On the way, there are three chests and a journal, and a Lifmunk Effigy around the corner on the beach. Usually good for a boost of a couple of levels and supplies before going back to the starting area.
on my second start I used that beach for my base. It's nearly perfect size and flat, and raid immune. it can be a little tricky getting stone and wood at first but overall it's good.
Even without the guns and the "slavery", this would have been an absolutely amazing Pokemon game. I come home after work and just spend all my time building a farm with my Pals. This game is so fun.
@@michaelfreeman3189 The game is so accessible that you can actually do just that. When I maxxed out, I bred 5 lvl 1 Pals and did a soft newgame+ leveling them up from scratch. Pal only combat in this ea version is already leagues better than any pokemon game.
Awesome Starter Guide! I am on my 5th world, but it is so disorganized! I am gonna carbon copy your ideas and start from scratch! Hope you will have a part 2 and 3 to continue this build! Thanks.
I wrote ideas to try in the margins of my class notes all day for start #3 tonight as it happens lol, i started last week, havent made it to level 25 yet but made it to 20 twice so far
@@D3adCl0wn the hardest thing i notice is some skills being entirely unavoidable to dodge on your person character and therefore dieing from the heightened damage. i used bulkier pals for fights, timed switch outs to block attacks, and the usual terrain as shield
I started a new world with the intention of building my first base there, and the boss Chillet just followed me across the bridge and curled up to sleep right next to where I was setting up the palbox.
Natural Defensive Pal... honestly not joking, if they are in the place when a raid is declared, they WILL defend it and you... Had a Lovander raid, and the Chillet was crossing the bridge when the lovanders spawned... it took out the raid and then curled up at the end of the bridge...
Brilliant. So many of the "beginner" guides for palworld are "here are some exploits to get you a bunch of guns and overpowered pals as quickly as possible" This is a real, honest-to-goodness beginner guide. I'm a real beginner at the game so I'm still learning the controls and stuff, but this seems like a series of workable steps to progress to having a good starting base and some good starting pals. It's going to take me 2 or 3 days to do the things you do in 1 day, but it seems like a natural progression of improvement... Not "go burn up a black marketeer over and over to get a million bucks and then buy your way to pals and items you wouldn't get for a long time in a natural game" Thank you
Oh hey, this video came out on my birthday lmao. Thanks for this video! I just got back into the game after a LONG hiatus (before Sakurajima), and I definitely needed a refresher
The bandit camp respawns in a few days. You can always check for the campfire smoke. The most useful one you can find in the bandit camp is Flambelle as they can drop Flame Organs in the ranch for making fire arrows. Also you might want some Celaray as they are the best one for transporting in early game until you get something better and they are a better glider than the one you make.
I actually had this location as a base for a while. It was a pretty good start and taught me a lot about setting up a mining base. A huge flaw I had with this location was it wasn't really very flat and plenty of times I had Pals stuck on parts. It was very easily defendable though and a lot of the raids would just run outside the zone and just stand there doing nothing.
@@Hiblex_IX yyup, that's a huge structure, can be tricky. But in the current state of the game pillars are OP for building. Same as ranch building farm it can be built on upper floors too. So with pillars you can cover a big flat area above the base without disturbing the natural resources on the ground much. That should provide plenty of building space.
Damn this is what I'm looking for. Some of us gamers don't like random stuffs. That is why we struggle on playing on survival games or like elden ring games. We really like to enjoy this kind of games but we need guides to copy it from.
dude, because of this video I decided to create a new one and followed everything. Thanks for the help and guide. I can now rest in one spot with ores so my second base will be sulphur spot. :) I hope u have a good spot for farming sulphur. please.. Thanks :D
This is an amazing guide i love the base location. The boss is chill as long as a i dont attack it and it even visits by base time to time already caught it and unlcock incubator before level 10.Any raids that happen spawn in the valley so easy snipes,i also caught the deer high damage 19:48. Keep up the amazing work🎉
Okay this video is super helpful. I just started playing this game, one thing i was kind of held up on was does it matter where to build your base, is it important to put much thought into where you choose your spot? After watching this, now i know yeah it matters. I actually started building a base in the same spot you put the base in this video, prior to watching this. Definitely wish i watched this before, i would have moved my pal machine thing to where you put yours so that the border covers more. Unfortunately i did not know it had a border around that pal machine, didnt really think of it and just put mine down as close to the rocks on the right side(if your looking from the bridge). Noticed the blue circle after i placed it and was like f.... haha
When I restarted for a fresh start after learning the ropes, I actually ended up running all the way to the forested area with all the yellow leaves. That one amazing ore spot, (5, -525). It's a bit further to travel, but it's much much larger than the spot you picked, and you can encounter so many different pals along the way.
I set up my first two bases in Desecrated Desert and the Astral mountains. Both bases have high level fruit trees and both combined have a combination of metal, stone, quartz, and coal.
One thing I'd recommend is maybe showing the base as you upgrade things, or add an overhead map image of the base platform layout... Beyond that, well this is an awesome start and with it day 8 level 15 and just finished my second level of shield, alongside having gotten another 5 of Zoe's Syndicate members to be manual labor...
omg you make building look so easy but I had the most trouble with adding steps to anything. it took me forever to build the bridge. You turned this area, I thought was terrible, into a great base. I am very new at this game but I am determined to make my base awesome like yours. Thanks I will be referring this video alot to help me build. so a build tuturial would be helpful as well
Beautiful starting base! And amazing tips! As always! Also I’m sure most aware but in case your not make the whole base stone asap!!! Fire can ruin many many hours of work!! I’m sure it’s happened to many of us by now.
They buffed the wooden structures a bit in the last patch so fire won’t extend as fast. But yeah the goal is to replace all wood with stone once it unlocks
Two nights ago I finally got a late game base setup full metal 10x15x9 it’s the most efficient base for having pals at there nothing for them to get stuck on other than each other. Everything they need is accessible without stairs or moving more than a few squares left or right I have 2 crushers 2 mills 6 furnaces 2 improved and 2 electric I have 1 lodging and 1 stone pit then my farm like lettuce tomatoes and cake all fit as well was able to fit two hot springs next too the 15 pal beds there’s only enough chests for them to store the what they gather you do have to take your junk to the mining base or the home base but that’s such a good trade off for the efficiency my factory base now has ❤
Thanks for this! My buddy hosted a server and I wanted to start on it with a new toon. This will help a lot, since I've only played for around 4 hours or so.
Try not to use the lifmunk effigies right now as there may be a bug affecting catch rate. It hasn’t been proven or disclosed by the company but there has been tests that show it’s possible. I noticed that the catch rate was really getting bad at around level 4. I couldn’t even catch a level 4 kativa with low health in a giga sphere. I really felt that catch rates were bugged and when people started posting possibilities on Reddit it made a lot of sense. Hopefully the devs can address this soon and see if there’s anything going wrong!
I almost started my more recent playthrough base here as I've used it for mining before, but I didn't think it would have room for structures. Really like the wood surround you did, huge amount of extra room opened up so it'll definitely be my starter point next time.
Absolutely love this, funnily enough I started here on my offline world so it seems I picked a good spot :p I'd love to see your stat allocation a little more though.. Do you distribute them in any particular way or do you just allocate them wherever and use the Pals to make up the difference for carry weight and such?
You should definitely make a guide playthrough of sorts if you have the time. The guides are neat and all but something like this is way more interesting to watch.
When you first start the game, do NOT head straight for the fast travel spot! Go the other way. A couple of chests are that way, plus a journal entry and other little things to pick up. Then go to fast travel marker and play game as shown in this video.
You chose my first base lol. I stayed there for awhile and experimented with building structures and eventually moved to a spot near jormuntide and its now my main base at lvl 43.
I was literally testing whats the best start lmao …..man this game is actually soo deep cause you can negate building base for a while especially since a big chunk of the map is low level areas particularly the west part of the map with pine trees
If you want a real fast progress early game, just go down from spawn getting every sphere or fragment of paldium laying on the ground, get every chest, get wood and if you get a sphere punch a cattivia and get him. Then make yourself some tools and put the rest on a chest near teleporter. Then keep running to tower and get a free pal in the camp next to it. Do the same west. Just run and loot chests and get tp points until next day
A few added tips I'd like to add for this video. Don't sleep on Nitewing and Celaray. Nitewing deals so much Burst Damage than Eithyrdeer and it also functions as your first available Flying Mount until you get stuck with Vanwyrm. Celaray has pretty high uptime on its attacks since it learns a couple of good Water ranged skills with low CD, it also gives you access into turning it into a better Glider.
recently made a second file to play on and off with the rule "no cross breeding". made the mistake of going too hard on cross breeding and felt like i cheated the system a bit. work my way up through the 1-2-3 pals for the base? nah, just bred a bunch of lvl 3 task monsters to trivialize my base making. once i catch something, THEN i am allowed to breed for more of them. this means no more anubis/jormuntide/orserk super early to trivialize everything sub-30
Don't waste time crafting the club, use the axe to hit the pals at the start. this saves materials, weight and time. Same for the glider, don't craft the first one, go capture that hawk that serves as a glider. He is around lv 10~15, and you would even have a flying pal by then. Also, rush to capture that pal that digs. With 3 at the start, you are bound to have infinite spheres and arrows. The base near chillet is good, but if you are min-maxing, skipable, you can gor for the coal/ore right away. Also, Relaxaurus and Bronchery makes Anubis, he will speed up EVERYTHING. You want Anubis for mining, crafting and fighting.
so me and my boyfriend just made a base here and i had us follow this guide a bit (added some extra stuff like a wheat farm and stuff) but we have this one issue where the pals keep trying to put stuff in the chests in our part of the base. and idea on how to fix that?
I’m a new player but I think if you use only one item slot in a chest it will become designated to the pals for that item only. Repeat for different items
Awesome video! You should think about doing a series, Level guide 1-50 playthrough. Some other games that I love playing do that and can really help people. Like what order do the towers progress after the first one? I'd watch it at least lol.
Everyone's first base located in the same plateau right below the spawn point. Wish I had known how much of a gate metal and ore would be before I made everything. I woulda sprinted straight to that desolate church at least.
Hey Khraze, thanks for these awesome guides. You're one of the best. Question about the base location, do you have a problem with the pathing of the Pals? I am trying to have a base there, but the Pals keep getting stuck on top of the ore and thus they stop doing their job(s).
I actually started a new world last night and went the same way as you picking up fast travel points, found a Bristla in the cage in the syndicate camp near the tower
You should make this into a kind of let’s play. I would love to see a continuation of this, showcasing all Palworld has to offer and the way you go at completing everything

I play both online with my brother and offline by myself and offline is by far way less laggy. I constantly disconnect while playing online
I play offline and it really has been flawless tbh.
Meanwhile i have no friends and i play offline constantly😅
It’s so relieving to see a game as enjoyable and relaxing as Palworld finally take the stage as the next big thing!
TY SO MUCH , after watching 4 guides and being even more lost than I was , I finally found every info I wanted to get here
Best starter guide I've seen so far, good work.
I'm not too creative when it comes to bases so I've followed your video to the letter and I really like how it looks - looking forward to more content
Can’t wait for the future of Palworld
Even without the guns and the "slavery", this would have been an absolutely amazing Pokemon game.
I come home after work and just spend all my time building a farm with my Pals. This game is so fun.
@@michaelfreeman3189 The game is so accessible that you can actually do just that. When I maxxed out, I bred 5 lvl 1 Pals and did a soft newgame+ leveling them up from scratch. Pal only combat in this ea version is already leagues better than any pokemon game.
I'm so noob when I started playing. This gonna be my 10th new world as a single player. After watching this I got a lot if new ideas. Thanky
Awesome Starter Guide! I am on my 5th world, but it is so disorganized! I am gonna carbon copy your ideas and start from scratch! Hope you will have a part 2 and 3 to continue this build! Thanks.
This was great, thank you! I like how your second tombat was like "man, you messed me up while capturing me, I'm gonna need some R and R first."
I made 15 worlds restarting to improve my early game is really fun, yours is a good strategy also
I wrote ideas to try in the margins of my class notes all day for start #3 tonight as it happens lol, i started last week, havent made it to level 25 yet but made it to 20 twice so far
And after you mastered your early game, try a full max diff run. It is, holy fcking HARD.
Not "go burn up a black marketeer over and over to get a million bucks and then buy your way to pals and items you wouldn't get for a long time in a natural game"
Thank you
100% the very best srarting guide. None come close to this one. Terrific job
Liked and subbed
Is the audio out of sync in some places for other people? Around the 9:25 and onwards into the unlocks
Did you find a way to get a breeding farm up there? I'm struggling on that end
Thanks!
My favorite use of a Tombat is currently using its echolocation to find new pals, or additional Tombats. They yearn for the mines :)
dude, because of this video I decided to create a new one and followed everything.
Noticed the blue circle after i placed it and was like f.... haha
“You do have to club him in the head until he’s down” 😂😂😂 5:00
When I restarted for a fresh start after learning the ropes, I actually ended up running all the way to the forested area with all the yellow leaves. That one amazing ore spot, (5, -525). It's a bit further to travel, but it's much much larger than the spot you picked, and you can encounter so many different pals along the way.
I second this. You end up getting a great start up here.
This vid is severly underrated
I set up my first two bases in Desecrated Desert and the Astral mountains. Both bases have high level fruit trees and both combined have a combination of metal, stone, quartz, and coal.
Any tips on building the bridge? I am struggling connecting the stairs like the video did
I was struggling with that too lol. Try putting one of the roofs down first, that somehow worked for me.
one of the most solid starter guide bro
Absolutely love the content. Especially all the building tips
Love Yout channel man! Been here since the best NMS videos and now its Palworld! Amazing hard work! Thank You!
Please continue this series was so much fun watching and learning from this can’t wait to start playing will help me out a lot ^^
This is actually a really good idea i just started today super addicted to it
I will try that. Im already in the end game by now, but did a lot of mistakes. Now I will restart because that game is chill and lovely
omg you make building look so easy but I had the most trouble with adding steps to anything. it took me forever to build the bridge. You turned this area, I thought was terrible, into a great base. I am very new at this game but I am determined to make my base awesome like yours. Thanks I will be referring this video alot to help me build. so a build tuturial would be helpful as well
how did you get the bridge made??? I cannot work it out. the stairs are the issue
Beautiful starting base! And amazing tips! As always! Also I’m sure most aware but in case your not make the whole base stone asap!!! Fire can ruin many many hours of work!! I’m sure it’s happened to many of us by now.
He did mention that in the video. Stone does not unlock this early.
Everything they need is accessible without stairs or moving more than a few squares left or right I have 2 crushers 2 mills 6 furnaces 2 improved and 2 electric I have 1 lodging and 1 stone pit then my farm like lettuce tomatoes and cake all fit as well was able to fit two hot springs next too the 15 pal beds there’s only enough chests for them to store the what they gather you do have to take your junk to the mining base or the home base but that’s such a good trade off for the efficiency my factory base now has ❤
Awesome starter guide. I use this location for my second base, but considering restarting and taking full advantage of it now with this guide.
Wish I saw this before I started playing. Best beginning tutorial I've seen so far. Well done and thanks! Subbed 🤘😎👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Enjoyed this format would love to see the next stages in similar format
Nice. This is where I made my base. Great video. Learned a couple of other tips.
Well looks like I need to re-work my entire base LOL! I love your tips and will definitely be putting them to good use.
Well done man, you're fast.
one of the best tutorials, thanks !
Glad it was helpful! 🙏
I love Palworld. The fact you can make syndicate thugs work at your bases after catching them is fucking hilarious!
Love the base design ! Thanks for all the videos!
I also build here it’s such a good spot! Great vid, found a few tweaks for myself
WE CAN SLIDE?????????????????????
Yes, and you then jump - glider - superspeed :)

I hope you keep going with this world/ build!
Your videos are helping me alot. Thank you!
Amazing! Thank you for showing us this starting and base location.
Do pals rest better with things like a foundation or roof?
great guide cant wait to use your tips and this location.
Love the video! Your floor orientation drives me insane 😅
I almost started my more recent playthrough base here as I've used it for mining before, but I didn't think it would have room for structures. Really like the wood surround you did, huge amount of extra room opened up so it'll definitely be my starter point next time.
Absolutely love this, funnily enough I started here on my offline world so it seems I picked a good spot :p
I'd love to see your stat allocation a little more though.. Do you distribute them in any particular way or do you just allocate them wherever and use the Pals to make up the difference for carry weight and such?
You should definitely make a guide playthrough of sorts if you have the time. The guides are neat and all but something like this is way more interesting to watch.
Fantastic guide, man! Are you going to do a part 2? I would love. to see this continue into the mid game!
Going to restart mine and try this 😊
When you first start the game, do NOT head straight for the fast travel spot!
Such a good video bro, very helpful👍🏻
i lost my save data recently, i really appreciate your advice to help me catch up.
I was literally testing whats the best start lmao …..man this game is actually soo deep cause you can negate building base for a while especially since a big chunk of the map is low level areas particularly the west part of the map with pine trees
Damn... You made me want to start a new game again since I kinda miss the early game. Hahahah
I recommend catching a Rushoar before u even start building your base he is a must early on for breaking rocks and ore.
So true. I did it a bit too late here and could’ve saved quite a bit of farming. I’d say by level 5 it should already be in your deck
Also dont max out your Lifmunk Effigy catch rate at the statue it's currently bugged and does the reverse I can barely catch things lol
@@Khrazegaming
Lol yeah this was where i built my second permanent base early on, at first i was infront of the Chillet to farm it. Crazy how good a start it is
If you want a real fast progress early game, just go down from spawn getting every sphere or fragment of paldium laying on the ground, get every chest, get wood and if you get a sphere punch a cattivia and get him. Then make yourself some tools and put the rest on a chest near teleporter. Then keep running to tower and get a free pal in the camp next to it. Do the same west. Just run and loot chests and get tp points until next day
Thanks for this it is very very helpful !!
If you turn around and go through the ruins back to the beach where you spawn - you will usually find a few chests.
I thought that's what he was going to do, maybe I should make my own ultimate starter lol.
One of the best location for start 😯👍❤️
so me and my boyfriend just made a base here and i had us follow this guide a bit (added some extra stuff like a wheat farm and stuff) but we have this one issue where the pals keep trying to put stuff in the chests in our part of the base. and idea on how to fix that?
I’m a new player but I think if you use only one item slot in a chest it will become designated to the pals for that item only. Repeat for different items
Excellent video! I've even rewatched it lol. Looking forward to trying this idea out in my own Paltopia!
I didn’t like it.
I LOVED it! Great video as always.
I'd love a base building tips video. This is my first game of this type and my base building is terrible :D.
Hey Khraze, thanks for these awesome guides. You're one of the best. Question about the base location, do you have a problem with the pathing of the Pals? I am trying to have a base there, but the Pals keep getting stuck on top of the ore and thus they stop doing their job(s).
I hope to play this game soon looks like so much fun
Fantastic guide!
didn't know about the bugged monk statue thanks for the heads up
Same. I was lvl 4 on my last play before I hated my base and restarted
You could also go backwards where you spawn in and get 2-3 chests, an egg and an effigy along with some supplies on the ground
I actually started a new world last night and went the same way as you picking up fast travel points, found a Bristla in the cage in the syndicate camp near the tower
love the way how u built your base
