I stopped playing because so many servers I tried to play on had gamebreaking issues and I got tired of starting over. I was kinda thinking the opposite tbh, compared to other survival games the starting over experience is pretty lacking in variety imo
Keep turning out the videos.. loving the early and now mid game. I can't wait for the continued video from this to mid/late game. Thanks for the walk through.
Ooh, thanks for pointing out those breeding pairs! I use the calculator a ton when I'm going for something specific, but it's easy to miss the larger context while scanning a list of pairs... those two being early bosses really makes them a great match for quick progression! I've been working on developing my own optimized(?) route and while it differs greatly from yours starting out, I'll definitely tinker with adding this part to it! Now, I didn't *intend* to include this part in my route (I'm just easily sidetracked lol)... but I ended up running into the volcano zone at night somewhere around level 11 just to see how far I could get before the heat got me. I made it all the way to the town, bought a heat resistant pelt armor, and did a half lap around the coast of the entire region. Said hello to Jetragon and death-respawned home once I reached the city, because I didn't have a flying mount yet and was encumbered anyways. I had nothing but a level 9 Tombat for a bodyguard, but mostly Dumud spawned, which are chill. I only accidentally aggro'd a couple Leezpunks, and I was able to bamboozle them in the uneven terrain. Was it a waste of time? Probably. But between the pelt armor and all the eggs (which included several vanwyrms, a reptyro [lvl 3 mining], and a Jormuntide Ignis) and all the EXP from hatching the eggs, I broke even at the least. With more gold, I could have even picked up a gun from the merchant there. So I suspect egg hunting in a zone way over your level is a potential speedrun strat. I just don't know how much the results will vary based on luck... it might require resetting until you get what you want, which most people wouldn't enjoy, methinks.
Found another early way to get Anubis . Vanwyrm and Cynamoth . Vanwyrm you want anyway - its one of the better fliers and is in quite a few of a late game breed combos. Cynamoth drops honey for cakes(so usefull to farm before you setup your bees) . Both Spawn at level 15-20 in the low level areas and super common(and pretty weak) - so its easy to farm for decent stats
Ps : Yeah , so they even more useful for breeding then I thought . Vixie and Cinnamoth= Fenglope , and its a pal you will want to condense - so will probably have a few with great stats.
Penking and Bushi is actually better, they're at 15 and 23, thus you will need to farm them for the legendary schematics, if your luck is good you can even get them first try and cheese the entire game...
@KhrazeGaming To get Anubis you could also do this. Just need Direhowl + Nitewing, which makes Rayhound. Then Rayhound+Nitewing to make Anubis. Much easier to catch a lot of Direhowl and Nitewings to get ones with better passives. I got one with Artisan and one with Work Slave without too much effort. OH also, easier to get passives that you want on Rayhound. Which is also better than Fenglope. Runs faster by 100? and has the same double jump. 💜‼
My only thing with that strategy is if youre playing on a unmodified regular server normal or hard, then that rayhound egg will take a while to hatch. You can skip that entirely if you go with Relax + Celery or Bushi + Penking
@@WinterisNeverGone Nitewing+Direhowl I can use early level quickly. Direhowl being lvl 9 mount? + start preparing passives from there and leveling on 10 catches. Relax, Bushi, and Penking I would have to wait much longer and catch much slower. 1 hr cd's for 2 of them. Before than I'll have bare minimum 10 Direhowls and Nitewings by the time I can even catch the other 3. At lvl 19, I'll have enough mats for multiple egg incubators+breeding farms. I'll be cooking the eggs for a Rayhound while I have the correct passives already lined up. Around level 19 its already gonna be an annoying fight with Bushi and definitely not getting good passives as quickly. That or have to focus everything on getting a good passive Celeray's to combine with a Relax. Penking/Bushi, unlikely to get the correct passives cuz of 1hr cooldown. Celeray take up too much time looking for a good one with only 1 pal I can catch early for exp + a pal that I can only start getting later on and a tougher fight. But, thats all imo, to each their own. Never a right answer. Just something ppl prefer or more comfortable with.
ha, the legendary xbow schematic reminds me of my own super luck. my first fight against blazemut, got the legendary assault rifle schematic. good stuff dude!
Replaying Palworld is awesome. So many paths to choose. You could go full on survival, make a save where you beat the game with one type of pals. It’s fun to also have a « chill » save aside from the Try Hard and automate/optimise everything sometimes
Just some tips if you want to spice up the look of your base, figured I would post here to get information out for people who want it. If you use a stone gate and put it close to a stone wall or stone defensive wall and open the doors, it looks like stone pillars and really changes the look. I think the flat stone walls without them look bland. I have found a few different ways to use them. Wooden gates kind of work with this too. You can build a second story deck on a house with the open stone gate technique, having 2 floors come out from the house, using the gate as deck pillars and using the decorative bar item as the front of the deck, it looks great. Also you can put Anubis statues inside stone defensive walls so it looks like its a carved into the wall. You can also put a campfire underneath/inside the statue so fire comes from its feet. You can also put a spool or whichever the large round item is under the Anubis statue to make it stand taller and have a larger profile for a center piece of the castle/town. Also you can put items inside the breeding pen if you are short for space, like small pal beds and small storage.
You can also build a big square box and put everything inside since no one gonna see it and its faster and no point of making things "look good" 😂 even on ark i only did big square bases 😊
Imo . Build lot of chest nearby the metal nodes so that Pal won't waste time to haul metal back. . Always throw your party's Digtoise out at mine base, it work faster than an entire team of Anubis. . Sell Nails to buy Spheres and Stuffs, Foods, are way better than make an entire farm base just for foods, so go with 2 metal farm base the only thing you will need to farm is Honey from Beegarde. xD
Some people are very lucky while others bite the dust :). Leveled twice to 50, captured everything .... never seen a legendary. Best I got in both games was an epic shotgun, I even farmed the frozen north´s chests extensively from lvls 40-50 ... but nothing.
Nice video, base isturnng into a place where I don't need to worry about palspheres, gold or iron... granted having hal the buildings dsappear every day in an explosion is annoying... any tips for what to do about that? And, maybe could you do a step-by-step build from the bridge to the base on top, at least the foundations?
Ragnahawk is a really good mount. You have stupid damage while mounted, it can fly and it is small enough to fit through all dungeons I've been to so even good for that.
I got a rather unlucky start with my second character. Right out the gate, just started, went to get materials to craft gear, and continue on, but I had just walked out the temple area you start in and had a lv25 Lucky Dinossom, I mean, Lucky, but unlucky at the same time. New character, thus nothing to use, can't really catch it either unless I spent a good bit of time getting spheres, pals, and leveling up, all while staying within range to try and catch it eventually.
Very helpful videos, mate. :) Just because of the first one I restarted and placed the base at you recommended place. Tho my pals get stuck on the metal nodes every now and then and don't eat. Also the miners tend to farm the stone rather than the metal. Just work arround that?
Yep, their AI seems to prioritize work stations over natural resources. My two solutions are to 1) destroy the stone pit after completing the base upgrade that requires it or 2) have enough miners in the base that they can't all work at the stone pit at once (I think it's capped at 3 pals?), which then forces the remaining miners to work on the ore nodes. Early game you probably want to go with option 1. You can always rebuild the stone pit when you're getting low on stone. Of course, also double check that the miners in question have at least mining lvl 2. Anything lower can't mine ore.
I tried in my singleplayer run but I just can't get behind the Triple Shot Bow, yes it's 3 arrows in 1 ammo but from the days of using it I see each arrow doing small amounts of dmg being basically the same as one targeted arrow, just scattered. it's great if u're weakening multiple targets and want to throw spheres at all of them, but for raw dmg I'd rather just hit a headshot with one arrow
I got the galeclaw first so that’s what I used until I got that perfect feng. But it can still get stuck in places because of weird hitbox. Pick whichever you like at that stage
i find ragnahawk being a good one as well maybe it’s the way i set up my base my jormuntide will get stuck n he’s also such a big model it gets in the way of other shii i have around
Besides Jormuntide ignis , they all have same level(3) - so its debatable. And Faleris is super easy to get after having Anubis (probably why he went for that ). You can even use same pals . Vanwyrm and Cynamoth give Anubis . Thats same Vanwyrm and Anubis will give Faleris .
There shouldn’t be a way for that to happen. Genders are irrelevant. Breeds have internal numbers which always give the same results from same combinations. I think someone else paid a visit to your female penking during that night xD
I don't like the cross species breeding mechanics in this game.. it doesn't make sense and it enables op late game pals in the early game which spoils all sense of progression. I am just 2 days in but from what I have seen so far, if you keep progressing naturally, you get better pals as you level up and move through the map which keeps improving your combat and base efficiency anyways. The problem with breeding late game b.i.s. mounts and pals (and that too en masse) is you never get that sense of fun trying out the different pals as you progress through the game as you already have the best that can be available. I'd love if they make it so that only Anubis can make Anubis etc so that you actually have to go and hunt em down first to make more of em or atleast introduce some kind of different tiers based on how good the pals are and restrict breeding between different tiers.
I dunno why he’s trying to keep the ONLY spot on the map with coal and ore a “secret”, basically everyone knows already and if you don’t the coordinates are 190, -37
Hey man the way you say “giga” in giga sphere is so wrong that it sounds like a slur you may want to google how to pronounce it because that g is not supposed to be said like j
Playing a new save on Palworld is amazing. The replayability is 10/10.
What's the end game content for this game ? Randomly-generated dungeon or something?
I stopped playing because so many servers I tried to play on had gamebreaking issues and I got tired of starting over. I was kinda thinking the opposite tbh, compared to other survival games the starting over experience is pretty lacking in variety imo
I have 3 saves, not even counting all the other ones on friends games
Yea definitely
Not really. Passive and IV breeding is a massive chore that kills replayability.
