There are some GEMS in the Connoisseur range that have held up very well.....The artillery officer in the dragoon boots and plumed hat looking through binoculars is a pip! I have him in the Staunton (Virginia) Horse Battery!!
Very impressive I must say looking v good.Another highly entertaining and enjoyable video. With the troops your mate has the gaming table must look very impressive.🐻🤗🐒👍
Nice collection Frazer. I was doing the same as you the other day with our Union, it’s great to sit and look at your work and let your mind wander. I look forward to seeing the terrain when it’s done.
Great stuff Frazer, I love organising the troops😁 AR is Arkansas and I'm fairly sure there was an Arkansas regt in the Texas brigade along with 3 Texas regts, at Gettysburg anyway
Really enjoyed that ramble mate. Nice watching your thoughts and sorting through the army. Looking forward to seeing how the rocky outcrops turn out. I’m back painting ACW again. It’s all your fault hahaha.
Thanks Frazer. If you are thinking about Gettysburg scenarios you may be interested in 'Summer Storm' by Brad Butkovich and published by Historic Imagination (apologies if you already have it). I know it's not hard to design your own scenarios, but the maps and orders of battle are good and I always appreciate looking at how others rate the quality of the various regiments. Of course day 1 scenarios probably means coming up with a terrain solution for the various 'railroad cuts'!
You could go with the 1st, 4th, 5th Texas and 3rd Arkansas which formed Robertson's brigade of Hoods division at Gettysburg. Those three Texas regiments were the only ones in the Army of Northern Virginia at Gettysburg. ARK is Arkansas because Arizona wasn't a state at that time.
I'm a simple man. I see VK's video on ACW, I click thumbs up. Funnily enough I just painted my first regiment from Texas. They look outstanding.
Thanks Mate 👍

Just ordered! Thanks for the tip👍
Probably Arkansas, as Arizona didn't become a state until many years after the war. ;-)
Ah!🙂
A nice "little" collection there VK, hope the game went well.
Was a good game Cal👍
I normally use 45mm bases, but seems to have bought 40mm bases and now have some regiments on 40mm bases. What is the best way to replace the bases?
Will leave the bases as is. The frontage of 7 bases is pretty close to the Union regiments I have so isn't an issue with the Black Powder rules.
How long did it take to assemble and paint that collection. Fantastic!
Thankfully I inherited the majority of the collection after swapping my viking army. 👍
Just to let you know it was based on Hoods division from Fredricksburg the other unit in the Texas brigde was the 3rd Arkansis
Now why didn't I think of asking you!🤔

Thanks for the info, appreciated 👍
@@vonketteringham ACW is one of my specialties so if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I am always happy to part with information!
Have you checked out Simon and Micks, Civil war game for this year's Partizan?
Not yet, will have a look 👍
No close ups? 😂
See previous vids, didn't want to get too samey 🙂
No skirmishers?
Still to be done 👍
A swap for the vikings Looks like your friend wasn't a slouch on his confederate project.
AR is Arkansas AZ is Arizona
Ah, we never stop learning!
