This is my first animatic, so there's a LOT of room for improvement haha. Thank you if you watched it anyway! I heard this song from the film "The Willoughbys" and couldn't help but think of ORV, because of the found family themes.
The designs for the characters were a mix of my own interpretation, other artists' interpretation, and the webtoon. Hopefully they're still recognizable

The saddest part is that after everything kdj had been through in his childhood, I don't think someone reaching out to him would've been enough. There was the teacher who'd been nice to him and mentioned to have died later, and hsy too could've tried befriending him in some way, but she seemed aware that only WoS will be able to keep him alive TTTTTTTT
But someone did reached out for him, remember? HSY was there for him. She wrote that novel only for him alone.
1863 tsl123 tried to talk to KDJ but she couldn’t reach him before losing control of young HSY’s body and basically disappeared until 1864 HSY got her memory’s back.
I thought I had high tolerance to things like this but ORV literally broke me...
I really wish the author will upload at least just one more chapter where Dokja wakes up and finds happiness...

It was hard to describe these feelings solely in words, but…she had to anyway.
For a book that has a mix of everything- from greek gods to Korean story tales- it truly makes a masterpiece from the chaotic mess...

The 49/51 scene always, ALWAYS, breaks me and you animated it so painfully accurate to how I imagined that scene would play out and now I'm just crying on my bed lol. You did a really great job!!! I hope I can see more of your works in the future!!

i can’t believe i’ve just found this… this made me cry so hard 🥹😭🫶 everything about kdj finding a home in his most beloved story, in his newfound companions IT MADE ME SO EMO… i especially loved the spod scene where sp tells od to open his eyes… THE WAY OD’S EYES SPARKLED I CRIED. and and and hsy’s expression when she sat in front of the computer writing WoS AND YJH IN SPACE and them choosing this path to save kdj, For kdj… AND KDJ’S SMILE AT THE END IM SO ILL THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS ANIMATIC IT WAS SO GOODDD!!!! and also the first part where kdj trying to find a way to survive 🥹 because he needed a way to continue living 🥹 on my knees sobbing wailing
At 2:39, even though I have not read the novel entirely (only certain arcs for context, living off spoiler information), this animatic managed to make me cry. Thank you for making this, wahaha. This has given me more motivation to read it all.

orv is a piece,a novel that will always stuck with me, how its destroy, build and change my life.. a first it was just a novel, something to read to past time.but somehow became a memory that cant be forgotten like, all the thing before never look the same anymore.. 51% 49%, white coat, reader,author,protagonist ,demon king, companion..Theres just too many..how it keep coming to me back in the middle of the night, 3am, sometimes when i read another novel.like i just cant forget about it even if l want to..since i know what will happen if i do.. your animatic rlly remind me why i love the story, why i stuck with orv..thank you for creating this
