The end of orv is the end of their actual stories. they legitimately cannot move forward anymore because the oldest dream is not there, us. the quite literal reader of their world. we can imagine a future of theirs, but the true story we once ran alongside permanently ends. we can reread it, but we will not give them a future any further than where it left off.
