When I first heard this song I knew that it would be for ORV
I hope you guys like it! It took a looot of hours and me learning a whole new program ^^; I learned a lot through the process and hopefully I'll have time in the future to make more!

the way i bawled my eyes out when i first watched this, walked to my brothers room, told him to let me know once he finished 188 and come look for me. He finished the chapter, came to my room already in tears, i sat him down to watch this, he cried more, kicked me off my chair, and then gave me a thorough rant of his thoughts on the arc

@@KimDokja51-y4xwell with a web comic you can set the pace yourself and linger on a panel but a toon has to produce this emphasis itself and gauge whether they should linger or not. It's an imperfect art form that cant sate everyone's sense of timing. Goldilocks effect.
2 years ago this animation was made and It took 2 years for the manhwa to finally catch-up to one of the heartbreaking moment of ORV.
Sadly the manhwa made it feel lowkey stale compared to this emotional masterpiece
I just read chapter 188 and the part where the messages started coming that the constellations didn't wish for Dokja's death, I started sobbing. Then at the end of chapter 189, it was revealed that Dokja's alive and I was literally cussing him out. Haven't finished it, but this is the most beautiful novel I've ever read.
Edit: I finished it 2 months ago. I still haven't gotten over it. This novel is a masterpiece.
i knew he wasnt gonna die because the story continued for 300 chapters, but, i still cried when that scene hapenned, AND cussed him out when he was revealed to be alive (also 4th wall is so cute, theyre like a angry 5 year old)

i felt bad for Han Su-yeong in this part. The pain that Dokja trusted her to do the inititiative to start what should be. I guess that hurts for a responsible even cold blooded women like Han Su-yeong.
Dokja always entrust Han with the most difficult, antagonistic parts it breaks the reader's heart. She's the only one who fully understands him, another 'omniscient but powerless god' in this story.
Ikr, she might be selfish and cold-blooded woman at first, but as the story progress she start to care about dokja and even understand him completely. She is the only one that he can depend on to do the dirty job. And knowing how rational and logical she is, he know she will do it even if it would hurt her.
Watching this made all the feels come back. From our pov we know this isn't the end of Dokja but, even so, the despair by kimcom and the constellations that loved him was... horrible. KDJ stop inflicting emotional trauma on your friendsss
This is the point where I realized he was actually full-on psychologically damaging them, without himself realizing the sheer size and level of that trauma (you know, because he doesn't value himself).
It's morbid, but the Demon Castle Arc is by far my most favourite arc in all of ORV. The frustration, the willingness, everything just...it tears at me. It was at this point I was crying myself screaming at the foolish man that I had started caring for to knock it off
it was peak for sure but 73rd demon realm arc was much better in my opinion. Ahh fuck i still remember the dokja's death vividly from the demon castle

i think my favorite part will always be at 2:22, because their movements could mean different things (at least, that was how I saw it). KDJ because he's breathing heavily, tired out and ready to die, and YJH with his shoulders tensing out of fear/grief, having not prepared for what was happening. But this animatic was really, really good, representing KDJ's pent-up frustration and the betrayal that the others feel. the animations are so smooth and the song was very well-chosen. thank you :)
im not even kidding - omniscient readers viewpoint is one of the most flawless masterpieces, from the perplexed plot itself, intelligent mc, well written side & supporting characters to the endless pain and depression ☹️,, i sense that once ch188 gets to be drawn in the manwha, it'd really be drawn like this! while reading this chap -this videos visuals resembles my imagination a lot, i love it sm😭

I’ve watched this video many times and I still love it. The indifference and lack of emotion in the beginning that Dokja has, only to smile when his fated death comes at the hands of the protagonist that he had decided to live for, for so many years is beautiful. Now I can picture everyone frantic as the surroundings begin to collapse, but Joonghyuk is completely still as he watches Dokja slowly disappear. I am very happy that you made, and posted this video. :D

If the most replayed parts are kdj's transformation and yjh's finishing blow, that's probably partly my fault. Ugh your storytelling is absolutely beautiful.
