@@colinm9307 You be you. Sounds like a bargain. 👍🏼 Personally - I’ve never ordered any parts other than from my Local Ducati dealer. I don’t mind paying for OEM. It’s a $23,000 CDN Bike. $375 to support my local shop is worth it for me. They have been great to work with - if you’re in Calgary, go visit Barnes Blackfoot Cycle. 🤘🏼
I've ordered the wings from Ali express also. They are identical and cost me $80. I also ordered the stealth mirrors. Identical in looks and quality of the Risomo, fitted then yesterday, and they look amazing. Again $80 compared to $450 with no difference. I also got a tail tidy like the NSC one for $50 compared to $300. Not fitted that yet. I love my Storm Green V2. I'm ordering carbon parts next...all coming from Ali Express
Thats what im thinking, all the cost saving from the cosmetics will help me take the plunge for the exhaust. But i do need to buy that from Ducati or my 4 year warranty is void..the stock sound is actaully very nice...so im debating what to do?😂i@streetsandpeaks3013
Cool! I would like those silver side covers painted for sure. I think maybe the texture on the wings is meant to create downforce - I actually wonder if the plastic wings out-perform the carbon wings??
Don’t repaint the silver side covers. The matte texture was designed to create vortexes to help aerodynamics. I’m joking of course. (Before anybody starts asking for proofs 😂)
I've been thinking about getting these, I was on the fence about its price point especially for them being plastic but they do look nice. How has your experience been with them while riding? any noticeable difference?
Thank you! And Thanks for watching! I haven’t changed anything for the exhaust heat. Where I live the mornings and evenings are cold - so it is like a seat heater for me. The truth is, the heat is less than the heat coming off the engine into my legs on my Monster 937. I also added heated grips. 👍🏼
Thanks for watching. If you check out my video with the USB install you can see all the panels off - it exposes all the electrical and doesn’t look the best. I wonder if you could get V4 panels that could work for the V2??
I bought the $80 Ali express ones, they are identical to my buddies V4. Installed like OEM and came with bolts.

I had my wings and radiator side covers painted in ducati red. Looks awesome ✌🏽

@streetsandpeaks3013 don't think it makes any difference. Surely the smooth wings cut through the air better

Mate you got to get the carbon ones

Thanks for watching. The wings are awesome. My ride along video after this has a full break down. Check it out!
Beautiful bike! How about the heat under the seat? Did you do something about it?

@@streetsandpeaks3013 Good to know, thanks! Something for me to consider esp. living in the Middle east.
@@xelveranoit gets hot. I can confirm
Do you think it’s possible to remove some of the plastic engine covers to get a similar look to the v4 that shows more engine?

You can. I removed almost the same amount the V4 has and it looks way better.
Very nice, what’s the price for the wings?
I think they were @ $375CDN last year and now $429CDN. They are on the Ducati site. 👍🏼
I also had it installed when I bought my V2.
It's one of the coolest mod! Looks prettttyyy
Yes! I agree… I need more time on it but my top speed is slower but grip and acceleration are noticeably improved!

Good question and good eye! I wear a vintage Tag Heur Professional Automatic from @ 1997. I do not wear it when I ride.
