Great video, you brought me back 55 yrs when I first started trout fishing when times were simpler. Going to put this on my bucket list of things to do
Brings back fond memories, garden hackle and a closed face zebco more than 50 years ago. As time went by my equipment and methods became more expensive but still go back to the ways of my youth, just because.
Cool video ,,, I love fishin' for little natives , with the occasional " "lunker" , 8-10" , thrown in 😉.. Childhood memories keeping us young ! Big fish are great , but this is where it's at ,,,, fresh natives fryin' in a cast iron skillet on a Saturday morning , Mmmm 😋
This is honestly my favorite type of fishing. I love scouting for deer and having a collapsible rod in my backpack to toss a line in and hopefully catch some lunch! Heading to the KI tomorrow to hopefully do just that.
Loved the video. I used to love getting brook trout in places here in MA. I used to just get with a small lures even a small gold spinner nothing more. Getting license this weekend and will be going out soon
This is my favorite kind of fishing. I found early season that afternoons were usually better, I always thought that had to be because it was when the water was it its warmest.
How many feet is ur rod I have a little ugly stik dock demon paired with size 2500 reel with 10lb down to a leader of 6lb mono but will switch to a 2lb leader would this be a fine setup for little streams even though the rod is 3’6 and I was gonna also use it with a water bobber with little flies in bigger rivers

I’m doing more of this this year. Big water has gotten so crazy and crowded. It’s good to get away
Appreciate the respect for the fish with the net call.
I Try
One of my favorite rods was a simple kids snoopy fishing rod for small streams in thick brush.
Great channel keep up the good work! Nothing better than catching pan sized brook trout
Amazing video bro, I love how you put in a lot of effort and editing. Have a blessed day, keep on fishing 🎣

"Every new subscriber equals one new subscriber....." 🤣 classic! As a Mainer myself, I appreciate that type of humor.
Yessah!
Beautiful video! Loved the info and the location you're fishing is gorgeous!
Love it! This year was a hard one for me, felt like there was a bunch of people out at my early season spots. Guess I just need to find some new ones!
Awesome video! Can't wait to get out on the streams myself. 👍

Awesome! The underwater shots were great! Thanks for the effort bud!
Making me want to get out fishing. I need to get all my gear back into the truck now!
Honestly probably my favorite way to fish trout...although it's still nice getting a chunky 1 out of bigger water
Small brooks or streams almost always have fish. Great video!
crispy edits man! those brookies are some beautiful fish!
Thank you
Nice keep them coming
Excellent video! We cant get out in Ontario til end of April. Its got me fired up to go now

nice one keep it up!
Love these little streams. I carry a ice fishing rod when I’m backpacking.
I thought of doing the same thing for this year. Mine still casts like 25-30 feet. Happy to see someone else thinking the same thing.
I got my first little Brookie of this year with one of your spinners. ☺️
Awesome 👏
My first fish I ever caught was 55 years ago at age 7 in the Rangely area the native brook trout were like paronas in every pool
They still are if you know where to look!
Can you tell me what tripod you use?
I wanna go there
Down here in Jersey when fishing tiny streams we call that either Pitching or Flipping the bait 🤔
Where is that
I own a net. If I have it, you can damn well bet I'm going to use it.

I think this was 4.5’ or so
Best kind of fishing, next time let’s see a little fly rod action 😏
