You see, many years ago there was this thing called skills. Before digital recording, one had to have skill to sing and record. She has skills, so what you hear from the studio is extremely close to what you'll hear live. She has a cool voice though.

I've been a fan of Little Dragon since 2009. I've always wanted to see these guys perform live. I saw them on Oct. 22nd when the came to Salt Lake City and was NOT disappointed!!! I got to the show VERY VERY early (I'm talking like 3 hours early). I was the very person in line and could see their tour bus, hope to get a glimpse of them before the show. Little did I know that Erik and Yukimi decided to go on walking adventure before the show. At first I didn't recognize them walking up to the show's building. I did a double take and BOOM it was those two!! I FREAKED THE FUCK OUT!!! I got to meet them before the show and they are such sweet and amazing people. I will never forget that moment ever for the rest of my life. I'll never forget asking them for a picture and Yukimi saying "I look like a bum" She can never and never will ever look like anything but a beautiful goddess in my eyes. My love for this band has increased a billion folds!!
Her voice is astonishing, flawless and one-of-a-kind. I first heard it on an album by SBTRKT -- song was "Wildfire" - and I remember thinking: who IS that?? Her tone is so freaking expressive. It is completely hers, like she's being lead only by the pure spirit inside her. I love it.
they're all such consummate performers but Yukimi feels the music so completely and so passionately it's intoxicating to watch her - she inspires love at all times
I've been waiting for them to do KEXP. This station is honestly one of the best in the USA. Keep up the great work. Thanks for phantogram too!! Girl bands are killing it lately
This is not my music niche. Yet I mesmerized and can't stop watching/listening. I think its because she is so good, so seemingly naturally talented her singing is... Effortless.
When he misses the background vocal entrance near the end of Klapp Klapp, that little look she gives him is brutal! But what a majestic fucking performance. Extremely well done!!
The beauty of Yukimi's naive simplicity makes it sound so easy, such a talent...! Her voice mixed with the band is wonderful. They're Little Dragon but their fire is so high!
