How to Gameshare on PS4 EASY | Play Your Friends Games for Free | Tutorial

A few things that I have learned since posting this video are
1) there is a possibility that setting a different system as primary will effect remote play with Vitas.
2) If there is a lock on some of your games give it some time and reset your system. And if the lock is still there go onto your friends account from your system and restore the license by going to settings then PlayStation network/account management then restore licenses this only works if you followed the steps in the video 100%
3) Remember guys you can only have one system set as primary at a time so no you cannot gameshare with more than one person
4) NO, this will not work with DLC such as season passes too, some people said it worked for them but most said it did not
5) YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR FRIENDS ACCOUNT SET TO PRIMARY FOR AS LONG AS YOU WANT THE GAMES this is super important
6) guys stop asking if this will work with discs, I say it in the video, it's been answered 1000x in the comments so now I'm putting it in the description. No, this will not work with physical discs only on digital items.
Are you trying to play games for free? games that your friend may already own? The PS4 allows you to share your accounts in a way where any digital games you own can be downloaded to your friends system and any digital games your friend owns will download to yours. This is called gamesharing and in this video i'll walk you through how to do it.

Smoothcool123 gaming for sure, I delete about 5 comments a week and TH-cam spam filter catches way more than that. Would hate it if someone lost their account for something like this so I do what I can to look out for people.

XPI LR you have to go to downloads at the bottom I ran into that problem too
For anyone that is having trouble with this, you need to do one more step that he didn't mention. You need to go to settings-acc management-reset license I think it's called on both of your accounts. This should get rid of lockes. I suggest that you go to the psn store and search for the game you want rather than going to library. If you have any questions or concerns about this please reply to this comment

Activate your account on another ps4
Add loads of accounts onto it(one or more it doesn't matter)
Add one account(or more) onto a random PS4 (or multiple) and activate it, it will work

no because gamesharing in no scenario gives you the game its sort of like ''borrowing'' it from someone but depending on who and why that can be a permanent borrow either way, you need to keep the account the game you want on ur account has primary sadly

Youre welcome, but I dont understand the question. What do you mean by "borrow" ? like a physical disk? this only works for digital games.

If you wanted to play offline. Could you just activate your account as the primary account for your ps4 then proceed from there? Or will that result in those newly downloaded games to be lost?
for your theme problem, your friend will most likely have the same problem too, but it's because of whos account is active on whos ps4
Thanks for the feedback, I believe we fixed the problem by restoring the licenses on each account. however, I have heard it does not work for everyone.

Robbie Fluffy I'm not sure yet but I think you need to re-activate your accounts to the correct ps4 then you guys can both play. NOTE that you must wait until the download is complete before you activate your primary accounts.
Yup we can play together, however you have to leave your friends account set to primary otherwise the games will become locked since you do not have the license for the games. So dont re-activate your account :)

i have ps4 pro in Thailand with mine and my son's user accounts on. my son in singapore has my account on his ps4 to download my purchases, and i added family sharing. but some of the games say no licence and won't let him play. i told him to renew the licence in settings, and tomorrow will know if it worked.

Yeah, so the way this works is that you will be able to use PSN on your account as long as the primary account has it. So if you're friend has it, you will too and if he stops paying for it and he starts paying for it, then he will still have it.

I don't think the games would delete bc you deactivate your account and the games are still there, just making an inference it's not fact
I know I'm a few years late, but can you clarify on pre-order bonuses? Like, if I (the account that is de-activated) pre-order Spider-Man PS4, do we both get the pre-order bonuses or does only the Primary account get it.
