remember i was a child when I saw a movie (terminator style) set in a sort of world dominated by anarchy where everyone killed each other, and I remember a scene where there was like an arena where people were killing each other and the audience was outside watching. After years I'm still trying to understand what this movie is called and I don't know why it reminds me of this video game. Yall know if this game is inspired by a movie?
What a great game back in 2010. Games like Halo Reach, Cod Black ops, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Splinter cell conviction, Star Wars the force unleashed 2, Bioshock 2, Mafia 2 and the rest I forgot.
It's probably the part of me that grew up on the PS2 Prince of Persia games, but I absolutely love characters who use a dagger or other kind of knife as their primary weapon.
They are just indie games. Shank 2 has more replay ability due to the online mode. Still never forget for how this game was it never let the men beat women senseless. But if u were a woman character u could beat them.

What a blast from the past , the amount of love put into to this game is insane , and despite the bosses honestly mostly being a joke , it should definitely be remembered more
The last cutscene was Cut due to it won't make sense at all, and the first cutscene aswell, but it's better this way because you can't get to Walk away alive after what happened to shank.
I’m convinced in these types of games the “health bars” are actually just plot armor bars and once they get fully depleted you start taking realistic damage from all the slashes, blunt attacks, and bullets
This is NOT hard difficulty. So far i just got to three bosses on hard difficulty (PC) and i can testify that: -El Raton (false butcher) has more attacks before charging. -The APV shoots more missiles and 4 grenades instead of 3. -The Butcher not only charges but also tries to kick and punch Shank before using the hook and not only when he is close -Cassandra defends herself more which would not allow the player to make big combos while normal attacking her. However, i can see that this is the censored version of the game withc some cutscenes being cropped, so maybe it has been modified

Bro... It so sad that this is kinda considered lost. The only way to play it now is if you bought it before it was taken down in 2018. I don't count the Steam Version. Cause of some censorship. It was sadly digital only on 360 and PS3, and to my knowledge you can't get it anymore on those consoles in any way. If I'm wrong feel free to correct me.

I bought 1&2 on the PS3. The assassination kills were everything. It had a co-op for the 1st one as well. For me the actual 1st boss was the sweetest kill (storyline reasons) 😂 Good times.

Man, the Steam version of the game really isn't good at all. Not only it cuts all the cutscenes in the game (why? I got no idea), but it also doesn't have boss music? Each boss had unique music you wouldn't hear in the rest of the game, but here it's just the default music of the level.
