I own a 1994 E31 8 Series and I'm nervous as hell watching you take apart this car. These plastics and rubbers are 30 years old + and will break/crack/snap/disintergrate just by looking at them. Replacing any of them - IF they are still available - will cost a king's ransom, The car looks magnificent! Congratulations.
What a gorgeous car! You have put the time in and it definitely shows. E31 will always be my favorite and it’s so great to see another one restored. THANK YOU and thanks for sharing.
I seriously cannot thank you enough for taking the time to document these processes thoroughly. The sunroof removal alone...I've read so many documents and threads on how to do this...but there is no good step by step write-up with detailed photos. So detailed video is worth a million words. Cannot thank you enough. It makes working on my '93 850ci a breeze.
Great job and good to know when I get my 840i repainted. I inhaled the video and will definitely watch it a few more times. Thanks to you for the great work and all the effort involved in filming and detail shots. Glad to see more of those videos. Greetings from Germany
Keep up the good work on the wonderful E31. I have the same color, fits the car well. In my car, oil consumption was a problem if it was not removed by changing the valve stem seals. I made an m70/73 project, started it for the first time about two weeks ago, looks good. I wish you carefree kilometers in the coming summer with the E31., a meter of snow here so waiting for summer. Best regards, Jukka Laitinen from Finland
I also really like the color. The car still has a lot of work to do, but I'm enjoying every moment of it. 1 meter of snow? it would be the end of the world for us. Greetings from Slovakia , Stefan
I am going to attempt paint correction on my 850, if not I will be in the same boat as you! Thanks for making the video. Congratulations on a beautiful job, well worth the work and wait!
It looks like the hood and the front bumper doesn't really match up. Is it supposed to be like that? But definitely a great job and very nice result. 👍🙂
M539 finished the engine for Marseille yesterday, and now you come along with a new paint job. It was a great weekend. 👍
Thanks, M539 Sreten is the best, I saw all his videos 2x 😀 I learned a lot from him.

Hi thanks. I did everything slowly and carefully. Many parts are no longer available, and if they are, they are quite expensive.

Top drawer job well done. Getting those rubber seals off must have been a nightmare you did really well.

It looks like the hood and the front bumper doesn't really match up. Is it supposed to be like that? But definitely a great job and very nice result. 👍🙂
Yes, i need to adjust it better
Nice work - BUT where are you getting all your parts and bits?
Hi, thanks. The parts - BMW dealer, EBAY
Awesome job man ! Have a question. Have you re-used both rear and front windshield rubber seals ? I heard the rear one is one-time use only ?
Hi, I reused both windshield rubber seals. After I warmed it up, it was easier to put it back, although I messed with the back more.
👌
😉
Was this a garage kept car?
No, it was parked outside for 11 years
