I just love the looks of the tp9.. that's the ultimate irrational deciding factor!

I have both. APC9k Is far superior in every situation except concealment. The trigger on the TP9 I’d also absolutely horrific.

      Thank you for the comparison.
      It was actually helpful.

I think you're forgetting the important factor of weight.

They make a new one called the mp9-n or something that uses a fire selector like a mp5 instead of the mushy aug progressive trigger that one might be ok

Although many people complain about the trigger on the TP9, it is something that if you put the work and train in you can completely work around the kinks of it. Mine broken in after about 1500 rounds and became much lighter. With the suppressor it is a perfect PDW, that’s just my opinion of course.

Excellent overview. I ended up with a GHM9 gen 2 (really only because of the forend modularity) and the TP9. One of the interesting things with the TP9 is that because the magazine is located within the pistol grip, it has a little more acceptability in states that have restrictions on certain weapons platforms - CT for instance counts a detachable magazine that sits forward of the grip and trigger module as a feature of an "assault weapon". Stupid, I know...

Interesting, that certainly makes a difference if you live in a state like that. Fortunately I do not lol

That TP9 with the larger can looks awesome. I wish they made a TP9 in my pet caliber 5.7x28. That would be awesome!

I think, they have it in CBJ (6,5mm) caliber.

I think the same,It would be more compact with less recoil...
But the commercial part-they want to sell more guns,9*19mm way more cheeper then 5,7*28mm.

And about tp380- they should made it in .32acp(tp320)...

as much as so many seem to hate reciprocating charging handles. The Gen 1 APC with the reciprocating handle does not interfere with light mounting as it not forward of the action, especially if you go with the regular non-k length. SCAR shooters should love the APC-9 gen1 xD

This is really great stuff, I love all the clone builds. It's nice to see quality firearms mixed with high quality accessories.

    I have a original TMP
Personally, I would choose the TMP over the APC, just because it's smaller and more soft shooting
Edit: If I had to include a suppressor, I would probably choose the APC

Full auto with the MP9 supressed is a very gassy experience. The cycling rate is very high. The APCK supressed in full auto is much more controlable and therefore effective

Great video! I love my APC9 Pro! With a 20-round mag, it fits perfectly in my backpack. Bought a DA Wolfman for it. Should be getting out of jail soon!🇺🇸🦅

Good info.. After how many magazines do you start realizing the TP9 is ready for a bath?

I usually clean mine after 400-500 rounds of shooting suppressed. It could probably go longer but I don't let guns in self-defense roles get too dirty
